Went here on Tuesday July 28th 2026 with my parents. Decided to come here for lunch. We found a parking spot and walked in. Upon walking in, a sign read "please seat yourself" so that we did. Sat at a booth. Took a few minutes to be seen, but then we finally were and was served by the bartender Mike. We all started with 3 waters, my mom and dad got a titos with sprite, and I got the tavern punch. Drinks were on point and fruity and tasty. We also started with an 1/2 order of tavern nachos, which one can absolutely get even though it's not happy hour yet! Honestly the tavern nachos half order are big enough to share amongst 3 people! Plenty of jalophanos and toppings on the nachos too! Then, we ordered lunch, I ordered the fiesta chicken cobb salad, my mom ordered the french dip, and my dad ordered the Philly cheese steak. Mike was pleasant and great and made sure that everyone wanted the toppings plus the side of fries. He also made sure to check on us and made sure we were happy and we were! Food came out in a timely manner and was enjoyable. We also all took home boxes. Paid with a credit card and left a cash tip. Also used the women's restroom this visit and it was clean. I'm a regular there and was there on a Saturday night around 11:30. It took an hour for me to get my food and when it came out after me expressing that it was late out and that several people that order after me got their food. I order 2 slices of pizza. Cheese and Pepperoni with bacon. It should not take an hour for both of them slices to come out. I brought it to the attention of your bar staff and they said they would check on it. One your bartenders/managers came out later and forcefully threw the plates of pizza out to me when I asked for it to be to go. I brought it to her attention of how rude it was and she said I can leave. There was people beside me that ordered before me and got their food. No reason for someone to be treat me like that when I'm a local and everybody knows me there. I was told that the pizza would be refunded but no proof and I paid for it an hour before. No refund receipts or nothing just verbal confirmation. The lady was terrible. The rudeness of your works is unacceptable because of their faults. I cannot fathom the way I was treated tonight after being a regular which was sad. read more

Service was good, quick to our table about 7PM. The waitress said we had just missed the rush. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, it was a nice setting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was fairly busy, but we had no problem getting a table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have really good happy hours deals as well especially for appetizers and drinks! Our server was very kind and we had great service throughout the evening. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip to split for our group of three. It was a good portion to split and very tasty! Can't really go wrong with a buffalo chicken dip in my opinion. Then I enjoyed the specialty slice of the day which was a cheeseburger-style pizza with beef, pickle, tomato, and a fun burger sauce. We recently moved here and was excited to try something close to home. The food was good. We got that 1/2 order of pulled pork nachos. They were great and the portion was huge. Overall the portions were large. The down side was the service. Our waitress was essentially nonexistent. We never got any drink refills. She put the food down and was gone before we could even ask for ketchup. We finally had to track down another waitress to even get our bill. read more

MUST STOP restaurant for locals and travelers alike. Very spacious location and an absolute treat to discover. Went here for the first time with coworkers for some drinks. Firstly the happy hour menu SLAPS portions are very generous. Ordered $5 fries pickles and had enough for the entire table of 4. The drinks were incredibly, incredibly well made! Not skimping but not overpowering. Had a Kentucky Mule for the first time and am jonesing for another one! The entire atmosphere was very upbeat and truly felt like a local hangout. Oh, and I can't leave out the staff. Every single staff member met us with a smile and we were very well taken care of as well. While he didn't identify himself as such we did have one guy come around and personally ask us how everything was. I wonder if he was the manager or something. Point is, we weren't overlooked at all. My coworker got what I believe is the Italian Sub and split it with me and it was incredibly delicious! We also got fries each. Plenty for us both it was crazy. Always very loud here...I'm going on a rant now. I consider Tavern a bar that serves food. Not a restaurant. I don't think kids belong in here. Take them to a more kid friendly environment. Now for the food: the Italian Special Pizza was alright. I expected it to be salty but no. Kinda bland. I had to add table salt, pepper and grated cheese. Let's jump into it! Don't I always?! The PBJ. Burger, chefs kiss . The spicy peanut butter sauce pairs perfectly with the sweet Asian sauce. And bacon...bacon pairs well with everything! Duck wontons- super interesting dish! Most similar to a empanada. The cream cheese has a stronger flavor profile then the duck (I'm biased, I like the protein filling ratio to outweigh the cream cheese though). The chili sauce is served on the side. Blackberry Whiskey Mule-a unique drink, as I've never had a mule with Chambord. Not too sweet and the black berry add a touch of tart. Highly recommend. Parking- This spot is located with a lot of neighboring spots. It can become congested but there is a decent amount of parking available to patrons. Service- Brittany was my server and bartender. Standard bar food. We came in on a Friday with a whopping party of 8. We knew we'd have to wait. We were quoted an hour and a half, but it was closer to 40 minutes. Love when that happens. Huge menu! I went with the chicken tenders but our party ordered something from every category. The only item that was disappointing were the duck wontons. They should be advertised as Rangoon instead. So. We went here for brunch with big expectations. We were disappointed in service and food. The brunch beast biscuit was not a special sausage and cheese biscuit and just tasted old and stale, hard even. The Tavern Nasty biscuit is delicious and the reason they aren't getting 1 or 2 stars. We waited 10 minutes to be greeted by a server while they all talked behind the bat and we almost left. Ordered brunch cocktail specials that didn't come out until right before our meal. The grapefruit salted Paloma was so bad you could not drink it. It was repulsive. When server finally checked on us she took back and did remove from check but was not nice about it at all. Seems like another good crowd here this afternoon! There was Plenty of free parking! The decor of the restaurant was very pleasing! We were so Happy to see our favorite waitress "Kat" on duty!!! The Buffalo chicken pizza was very tasty and had some heat! The boneless Buffalo chicken was very good and we enjoyed teriyaki sauce it was dipped it! This is the 1/2 sheet of Nachos, which were really awesome! They were made with plenty of good ingredients! The bathroom was clean and well attended to.
