Barefoot Resort location can't be beat for residents! We are from NY and actually quite like the brick oven thin crust pizza...just ask for it well done. The wings are decent but small. Great specials. Usually opt for takeout b/c it's so convenient. But it's also a pretty cool hang out spot for drinks/beers, Trivia @ 7 on Tuesdays, and BINGO @ 7 Thursdays. We love Putter's Pub and are there every time we're in town normally-which can be often since we own a condo in Barefoot Resorts. Wanted to go for Taco Tuesday and trivia this evening but was a definite no-go. We walked in and saw no masks on servers or cooks. Sat at a table and noticed it hadn't been cleaned. I went to Putter's Pub while on vacation with my family and friends. We went for Trivia Tuesday and were really excited about being able to play trivia while on vacation (we love going to trivia spots in Pittsburgh). Anyways, the trivia was awesome - would highly recommend going on a Tuesday to play. As far as Putter's Pub goes, it was also great. We got the appetizer special for Tuesday which were chicken quesadillas and tacos, and we also got the hamburger sliders. Everything was delicious but I would order the hamburgers sliders again over anything else. I got the chicken sandwich for my dinner while the others got a hamburger, salad, etc. All of our food was delicious and not one person had something negative to say. The server was also sweet as can be. We were a pain in the butt table, there were 8 of us, with 4 different checks but she made sure we were all taken care of at all times. We had won a gift card during trivia, so on Friday night we had decided to go back (just my boyfriend and I) to get pizza to go. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice, we informed him we were going to order a beer or two and also place a pizza order to go. He got the order to go quickly and we were in and out in 20 minutes. I would definitely go back when we go to Myrtle again. P.S. We had a group of six at the bar for food and drinks mid-afternoon after a round at Barefoot. The bar selections were heavy on flavored liquors and cordials with an average selection for beers. The menu has some nice unique selections - like a french dip panini - and the food came out quickly and was totally fair. One of our party received a stromboli instead of the pizza he ordered and was not offered a change or discount - perhaps because we seemed to be a laid-back group. read more

Came here while I was back in town visiting and I loved it! Being from the area I've been to just about every place and I had never tried Putter's. It was so refreshing! I loved the atmosphere and the "at home" kinda feeling. More than enough TVs to watch the games! Awesome drinks to try. Best lemon martini I've had in a while. My mom and friends tried some of the food and it was good as well! Never seen fries quite like theirs, but they were delicious. Definitely going to be a must go-to from now on when I'm back in town. As an owner in Barefoot Resort, every meal we've ordered at Putters has been served hot, promptly and are delicious. The mac n cheese was fabulous, great pizza, panninis, and sandwiches have all been very good too. The waitresses are wonderful. used to be good. New owner. Some night they have 2 great servers. Some nights 2 immature servers that are more interested in dancing than serving. New pizza maker lady first pizza was great. Second onky had ingredients in the middle. Nothing close to the edges. Third time forgot the garlic and olive oil sauce. We normally go 3-4 times in a week. So this Monday or maybe Tuesday we drove there for lunch. We were told the cook didn't come in so no food till 4pm. I totally understand. Hard to get help these days. So that was fine. Today Saturday sept 10. I called at 11 am to see if they were serving lunch. Young lady answers and I said are u serving lunch today. She answers very rudely. Of course we are serving lunch today we serve lunch every day. I said that's not true we came earlier this week and you were NOT serving lunch. So we wanted to call before droning ther for nothing. She said well that was one time. I said yes it was one time so I simply wanted to call before driving there to nothing again. At that point she lost it. Got loud because I was nothing her to ask if they. We're serving lunch. Tried to make me look stupid for asking. But fool me one shame on you. Fool me twice In the same week. Shame on me for. It asking. But she got very rude on the phone when I wanted to double check to make sure they had food. No reason for her attitude. It will be a longggg time before we go back again. And I will call and make sure they are open before I go. Place use to run well. Since the new owners took over it's gone down hill. Used to alway have popcorn in the machine at dinner. Now they make one batch and never refill that either. Just poorly run. Shame it used to be sooo good. I'd call before u go to make sure they are open. But prepare to be verbally abused. Lots of other places close by have just as good a pizza. Ratone. Iltimatd cal pizza and Oscar's. And you know they are opened and you won't be abused by a server that can't be bothered answering the phone because she would rather be dancing. Having lived in Barefoot for four years it is such a disappointment that this place has taken a turn for the worse. I don't have high expectations for a small pub that should be the "go-to" place within a community. That being said it's hard to believe that they get away with such terrible service. My family and I have consistently experienced servers and bar staff with poor attitudes who look like we are causing them trouble by stopping by to order a few drinks or a pizza. I'm officially done giving them the benefit of the doubt and wasting my time stopping by. It's a fantastic location so I hope they get new management or clean house - something drastic needs to happen to fast. As of now we're out for good. read more

This was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. We walked in and did not get waited on the entire time. We sat for about 30 minutes at a dirty table before finally going to the bar and getting drinks ourselves. The waitresses walked by several times and intentionally ignored us. We finally waved down the rude blonde waitress and had to ask her to wipe down our table and for menus. After another 5-10 minutes she walked back and threw down 2 menus for the 4 of us. She never came back, so we left to go somewhere better. We will never come back. Wish we could give this place 0 stars. read more

So went to this restaurant tonight for DJ bingo, drinks and dinner. Unfortunately like past reviewers we were unable to get service. At least 3 servers walked past us, but no luck. There was even a server rolling silverware one table over and still no acknowledgement. Waited over 15 minutes and eventually got up and left. One star is being very generous. read more

I'm a barefoot home owner so I know this place and I always make the mistake to go in and see if gotten better. Never does. So basically I gave up. Putters is in the barefoot development and this place is not good. I have over the last three years never had a good experience. The service has always been poor, slow and the staff waitresses have been rude. Almost like it's a chore to serve you. They can't handle large groups over 8 to 10 so we never go here with friends or our guests after first few episodes. Even when complained to management or tried to get in touch with from Pittsburgh owners who live in barefoot we get a real no care attitude about improvement. I guess there making enough money off those who don't care or there other bar. Hence you can have a better time elsewhere. Our clubhouse for golfers is even better. They have hard time getting good waitresses as staff turn a lot. The food I'd say is poor. If your a tourist and or golfer go somewhere else over to barefoot like flying fish or joes or Norman's or bully's. If your Pittsburgh people it's better you go to oscars on 17. Oscars always has given great service and even when busy can handle the load and adequately staffed read more

Be careful at this pub. My husband and I went there to watch the Eagles game. Were there for 2 and a half hours. We each had 3 beers and were charged for 9 instead of 6. was there for the superbowl...$3.00 domestic beers and free half-time buffet can't go wrong! I think the crowd was more than they expected, so food was not there for all on the line. But beer was cold and the pizza we had earlier was good! Waitresses worked hard tonight, and hope well compensated, and I do understand a little flirtation but the men especially at this one table were very in appropriate with the ladies, it just not a good vibe in a family area as barefoot is. South Carolina lacks good pizza, however the Putters Club has solid pizza. It will satisfy your craving. And dope sweet tea.

Unbelievable...Easter week-end at the beach...staying at Barefoot Resort - own a place - been here 11 years. Decide to order out for pizza and pickup. Shocked to learn they have no boxes and you can't pick-up. how is that possible? How can you not have enough boxes so patrons can pick up pizzas??? i just left Putters Pub May 20th i really like this place its fun, food is very good and for the most part the staff is terrific However tonight the young lady could not have been more uninterested in taking care of us. Not only a nice greeting how about a smile during the whole time she took care of us. I hate being disappointed in service. I spent my life serving the public if you don,t want to do this job find something you like. I live here in Barefoot and been to Putters Pub many times and enjoy going there and i will be back.
