I have always wanted to check out TopGolf and I finally got my chance! I went with a social club that I'm apart of, so it was a pre-planned event with reserved bays and included food and soft drinks. Upon arriving, I checked in at the desk. One of the staff was already standing there holding a sign with our group's name on it. She directed us to the bays where our group would be. We had 3 bays reserved. Our food package was the fajita package. It contained a southwest salad, chicken and steak fajitas, rice, beans, and toppings for the fajitas. Soft drinks were included in the package as well. We were expecting snow on the day of our visit. The weather definitely didn't turn out as predicted because it began snowing before we arrived and snowed the whole entire time we were there. Despite the cold, snowy weather, TopGolf keeps the area heated and they even have heated seats! Unfortunately, there was still a chill in the air due to the wind and snow blowing into our bay. Overall, I still had a fun time and would return, preferably during a warmer season. I'm assuming it's probably best to make reservations in advance, especially on a weekend. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure our group was taken care of and having fun. Their energy, kindness, and attention to detail completely transformed what could have been a freezing, windy, miserable evening into a celebration I'll never forget. They checked in on us constantly, made sure everything ran smoothly, and treated us like VIPs the entire time. I've been to Topgolf 2x over the past few years and only on my second visit did I get to try to their food. It's delicious!! The drinks we ordered were just ok. All in all Topgolf is a fun date night for couples, groups and etc. My only con is the timing doesn't stop when your food comes/ trying to eat so it feels like a rushed experience. Topgolf is a great venue but here in NJ, under it's current structure, its a 3 - season venue. The bays are all outside. The heat lamps provide little relief from the cold. To make Topgolf a great all year round experience, the sitting areas should be enclosed. I was fine with the golf tee area being outside; however, trying to warm up between rounds and games was difficult. The heat lamps provided little or no warmth. We voluntarily cut our bay rental short due to excessive cold weather. The food was very good. I had the sliders, Turkey Club and buffalo wings. We arrived at 12:05 for a bay after seeing there's no wait online. We were quoted 2 hours 15 mins when we walked in. We went to a restaurant in the same parking lot for lunch to kill time, and as we were there we got a text saying our bay was ready (about 30 mins after we checked in). We said we weren't ready for a bay, and would take our original wait time. We came quickly back to top golf after we ate at 1:30 and were told we were 3 away from being called. We did not get a bay until 3:10 and were given a time limit. This is pretty typical for top golf based on the last times I went, and would not recommend coming unless you book in advanced. We saw many other bays open while waiting. Once in the bay, waiters were attentive and we enjoyed our time. The delay to get a bay though definitely put a damper to the trip. read more

It's my second time here. It's a fun activity. I saw a few large parties for kids. All different age groups enjoy coming here. They release the booking slots for the week ahead. A bay can have six people for a fixed price, so it'll be cheaper to go with a group. The nearby area has a few other activities too, like go cart racing. Service was ok. Overall they were nice but orders took awhile to come. The Smokehouse burger was ok and very messy to eat. The fries were tasty. The nachos were a lot smaller than we thought, even though they tasted good. Cocktails were tasty. I got the espresso martini, which was sweet, and the cherry limeade golf bag which can only be ordered if two people are sharing. You can keep the cup and straws. Bays are heated in the cold seasons. You can practice and play a variety of competitive games, including one with Angry Birds. read more

We ordered buffalo chicken wings (good), guac and chips (meh, very little guac just a cup), and steak nacho (burnt) I realized the pitcher they use had a huge void in the center compared to other pitchers from other places. As is they wanted to take away a glass from total volume and make profit out of customers... Shrinkflation! But if I was to do this I would do it in a much more discreet way, not like them... Lol The worst part of it it charged for guest signup to play golf, it was $5 per person. I mean you come here for one time golf (why do you even need to create an account?!) and they want you to create an account and pay $5?!?! Outrageous!!! We asked for 5 glasses of water and it took 20 minutes to arrive. Just for water... Anyways, I don't think i will come back to this place again. It was my first time at Top Golf and I had a great time! This place is huge but well organized. They also played some fire remixes - it felt like I was at a club LOL. We played a 90-minute game and I felt like that was going to be a long time but it flew by so quickly. The price is a little steep but I guess cause it's golf? We got some beer and flatbreads and our waiter was super attentive and quick to serve. The flatbread was a little underwhelming. But what do ya expect at a place like this lol. We always enjoy coming to topgolf. We usually hang for a couple hrs. Order food and drinks and just enjoy playing. My husband loves golf and I'm more here for the food- so we get the best of both worlds here. Came by to avoid the reservation fee. Would definitely recommend coming on a weekday if you can. Food is average - usual American fare. Ordered spicy chicken sandwiches but they weren't very spicy. Missing some clubs on the female side but was able to work around it. Hand sanitizer empty closest to our bay-which there should be sanitizer readily available since I never saw anyone wipe/spray down clubs. So bring some with you! Workers are little pushy to get you to start your game, or continue-but not a big deal. Would definitely recommend especially if you can come at times that will save you a bit of money. read more

As you might expect, we went to Topgolf as a birthday outing. We prepaid with our host for two hours plus a food package. We chose all of the apps and everyone got a drink. I was drinking Chardonnay. Excellent and a generous pour. Our server acted as the go to peeps on for our outing. She was wonderful. Explained how to play and options for food. She managed our large group like a pro. The actual driving range works on a point system. Much more fun than a regular driving range. Overall everyone had a great time. I would recommend for any big outing. You do not have to have experience with driving ranges. read more

I have to say the experience was less than favorable and this will most likely be the last Birthday event that I ever book at Top Golf for a while. I did speak to the manager at the venue but I did not want to go into details to make things awkward nor did I want to get aggravated. My party and I arrived early as per the instructions only to know the bays weren't ready. The gentleman at the front desk was clueless on how to assist me. Doesn't even make eye contact with you. It wasn't the end of the world as they extended the time, in the end, to make up the difference. But it started to go downhill fast. While we wait, we went over to the bar, which was short-staffed. Again, we understood. Next, a server drops a tray of drinks onto the floor near the bar. I and my girlfriend's shoes get soaked in drinks. Glass shattered everywhere and some into my girlfriend's hair. Her brand-new shoes are stained since they are suede. Didn't even hear an apology from anyone. The manager said they had a bunch of call outs and that's why they're short-staffed. A seating area is closed off near the bar when they have a ton of people crowding the bar. Once we finally get into our bays, we have to come up with a strategy to order drinks as soon as the first round comes because it's taking forever for drinks to arrive. Positive note, our server was friendly, could have been on it a bit more on top of things, but I have to accept what it is. Once we get to the end of the night we understood we couldn't extend the time as per the agreement, which is probably for any other parties that might be waiting for a bay but we saw how slow it was getting so we asked anyways. It doesn't feel like Top Golf wants to keep us spending more money. Around 11:30 pm another manager comes by but it turns into, go downstairs and get back into the cue and pick a new bay but conversation started with; you having to leave a few minutes after the time expired as we were trying to finish the last round of drinks. We move into the game room downstairs around 11:45 pm and I ask the front desk for pool billiards, where I'm told nothing downstairs is working. "Everything is broken." Overall, the venue is poorly managed. It's an overly priced event for subpar service and experience. I'll be dropping a couple of reviews about my experience and I'll be sure to let people know to avoid the venue until things get better. I understand it's a stressful time in the service industry but for so many things to go wrong, it's not fair for the Parton. Especially when paying over $700 when the final bill comes. Had a fantastic time here for Fathers Day 2022. The kids and I treated Hubby to a 2 hour golf bay with food and buckets of beer and it was great fun. I had been thinking of doing the golf party package, but honestly after looking at the basic menu and the package other than guaranteeing you had a Bay, there wasn't much difference other than price and frankly with the beers and food, we actually came in under party budget-at least for the 6 of us. I just made reservation for 11am 6 days before and when we arrived we got our bay right away and placed our food orders. It was getting really crowded when we were leaving, but not while we were there. First get the lemon pepper wings, the wings here are delicious!! we ordered the nachos, guacamole, queso blanco and pretzel bites (3 orders of each). We ordered 2 buckets of beer mixed with Corona and Blue Moon of course water and pop to go with the mix. All in all it was a great day, lots of laughs and fun competition! Because we are from out of the state, we always reserve a time to make sure we get in right away. There is a lot of bar food to choose from so if you are in the mood for a meal or appetizers, you don't have to eat before going and there is a full bar. Came by for a friend's birthday party. They had called ahead to reserve 3 bays but it costed a ridiculous amount to get them together (over $1000!) so she had to book them scattered all over. There was a whole end section that was empty (more than 3 bays) and they could have easily put us there. This was very inconvenient for everyone to mingle. I decided not to play golf - it is a $55 bay charge there's a $5 membership fee per person who wants to play. Then you add drinks and food. Food prices were pretty reasonable here but the costs keep adding up here. I was pleasantly surprised by the food having low expectations for basic bar food. We went for the pick 6 for $55 apps to share with the table. We had buffalo bone in wings, lemon pepper boneless wings, buffalo chicken dip, hummus, mac and cheese bites and nachos, all delicious. We ordered a burger later and I felt the beef was a but overcooked but tasted pretty good. I liked the apps better. The mulligan cocktail was really refreshing. You get a server assigned to your table. This was annoying when we wanted to order drinks at the bar (right behind our bay). They told us we couldn't order drinks at the bar, yet another group came by later and was able to, no problem. All the clubs six real hackers needed. Kid size clubs for the kiddies. Had a great time. No issues with ball feeders. Had 2 high top tables with I believe 6 chairs at each. Server was a pleasure to deal with. Young lady, I think her name was Kayla? Did an excellent job getting the drinks and appetizers out quickly. They have beer in pitchers. Keeping in mind this isn't a 5 star restaurant, the food was fair and that's being generous. Came out sporadically and was bordering on cold. But we didn't come for the food and it certainly wouldn't keep us from returning. Place was very clean, no garbage blowing around and our server did a great job removing the empty glasses and plates. Our day was a bit warm but they have large ceiling fans which provided area circulation plus we were entirely in the shade. Plenty of on site parking. Great time. Only stopped golfing just long enough to eat. But in shifts as food did not come all at once Not cheap. I think for everything and we did order a lot of food and beverages plus 2 hours of golf with tip it was over $400. Not a surprise . Everyone had a great time. Visited this location recently with two other people. It was FILTHY. The women's bathroom had tissue all over and there was blood in the sink. Walking in, there are trash cans that were spilling over so I should have known the inside wouldn't be too great. We made it to our table where I used my disinfectant wipes to clean off the table where food and used straws were left behind. The service was just okay. Our server went missing a few times to the point we kept having to ask other workers to find her to get things like water, refills or to place or food orders. Someone in my group needed water and as we tried to get the attention of a server to find our server, he proceeded to ignore us and then at the last second when we gave up on getting his help, he decided to respond. I watched a server's hair blow into the food she was walking over to a different table and just casually pulled her hair back and served the food like nothing happened. One woman in that party caught what happened and I noticed she didn't eat any of the food that came out that time. The food is inconsistently made. There were two chicken sandwich orders in my group. The exact same order yet one came out with different toppings than the other and one was burnt. The Buffalo chicken dip however was surprisingly good. I will say it was a fun time playing golf (especially as someone who has never played before). I gave two starts solely for that aspect. The dirtiness and lack luster service would keep me from going back. This location charges a very high amount on certain days that is not justified in the upkeep of the place. Came here for my birthday with a party of 5. The service was horrible. Server wasn't rude, but not attentive at all. We also received the wrong food which was a problem given my mother's food allergies. It took forever to get our first round of drinks (non-alcoholic) and we could never find the server to have them refilled. I used to love coming here back in 2023 but since then have gone twice and both times were negative experiences. The first time had to do with rude staff, issues with food quality, and a supervisor or manager making a big scene telling my boyfriend to pick up his pants while he was mid-swing. Has good American bar food options like Flatbread, wings, fries, etc. Value (4/5): Can get quite expensive if you play for a while and order a lot of food. However, it is a fun unique experience. Venue (5/5): Cool looking venue. Most of the golf clubs were in good condition and the sensors on the balls worked well. For some reason, I find it easier to score 250+ points in this Top Golf compared to others I've been to by driving it near the end of the range for 50 or 75 points...perhaps it's because this venue is smaller than others. Service (3/5): I've usually had good service at Top Golf venues, but the last time I went, the servers didn't check up on us as frequently. Additionally, we ordered some ice cream and not only did it not come until our time was basically up but we the person bringing it to us spilled a lot of it and tried to pass it off. I recently visited Topgolf for a friend's birthday. For reference, I live in Westchester County, NY, and the two 'closest' locations for this franchise are both 50 miles away. I don't have any experience with golf, and I think that affected my overall enjoyment. I liked playing the game, but the rounds seemed to go by quickly. The food I tried was delicious, especially the mac and cheese bites. The staff checked on us frequently, which was helpful. Since I was with a large group, I decided to order directly from the bar to avoid confusion with the bill. This was especially helpful because they wouldn't split the bill for one reservation, not even by lane, even though we had multiple lanes for our group. I enjoyed my visit, even though the place was quite busy, it didn't feel crowded because of the way it's set up. I had an okay experience overall, and I would consider going back if it were closer. However, the experience didn't justify the 50-mile drive. read more
