This is our second birthday party at a Topgolf. We scheduled this event as soon as the Buford location opened. I planned my event with Hayes and everything was great. Ordered food platters for our two hours with about 12 golfers and it was plenty. Gugu was our attendant and we never had to ask for refills and every single member of the staff asked if we needed anything and if everyone was having fun. The place was packed but we never waited more than 3 minutes for a requested item. If you want customer service for your event (in a world that has no Cust Svc anymore), make plans at this Topgolf location. We felt treated the whole 2 hours! I'm extremely disappointed in Topgolf. Though I put a reservation into what I now know is a glitchy app 2 days ago, AND my Apple Wallet displayed a reservation charge, management told me I didn't actually make a reservation because I didn't receive a confirmation email nor could I provide one. (Then why did the app charge my card?) After being told to wait by 2 different staff members to investigate the issue (and who couldn't provide me an update on what they'd found or an ETA for when the issue would get resolved), management made NO offer to fix the issue - other than to offer me a bay in 2 hours. Not only would the 2-hour wait not have worked with my family's schedule, but why would I linger around for 2 hours at a place that can't even get my reservation right in the first place? No offer was made to bump my family up on the waitlist nor were we offered an apology, even though I showed a screenshot of the Apple Pay charge. I'm upset and embarrassed, as I had booked a reservation for my dad's first pre-COVID celebration, which was of course ruined. Went to Buford location- took my 14 year old nephew. Got a bay right away. I have been to top golf with my company so I knew what to do BUT if it was my first time I would have to try to figure it out. Waitress asked did we need left hand clubs and brought our sodas and that was it. It was clean and they seemed to have plenty of staff judging by the people in uniform standing around. First off, I've been coming here since this place opened and today's experience was absolutely terrible. The GM over this store takes priority for reservations over having already paying customers in the bay. We planned on staying longer but was told we can't extent our time due to people having " a reservation for this bay" which is a lie because you cannot reserve a certain bay. Manager stated that he wants to sell out the place and doesn't care that he kicks out already paying customers. Don't believe the monitor that asks you to extend your time because the server will come over and tell you that you can't add more time. This place needs new management before it loses more customers. The management is greedy and does not value paying customers. Cares more about quantity over quality. read more

Even drinks are in tiny glasses now with ice stuffed to the top. What has happened is not acceptable. I love Top Golf and bringing customers here it is a great way to do business. I've been to several top golfs around the country and although this one is new it's just as fun. I had a reservation for five of us and we were here to have fun so we did. We didn't get to get up top but it was short notice and we were out to have a good time and got a nice bay in the middle and ordered food and snacks and a lot of beer!! Had great service, ordered various food burgers and snacks and I always get the injectable donuts because I think it's a brilliant idea and they're really good! I suck at golf because I have two torn rotator cuff's so really is the safety of the people next to me I worry about but it's always fun to go out there and hit what I can and let the pros that are with me nailed the targets LOL. I think they get going a little better and this Covid world of life dies down people will be a little happier and less complaining about wait times which seems to be the negative review. To give one star in one review where they were allowed to bring bottled water in previously but can't now due to Covid, this is not the restaurants fault and even if not handle correctly it doesn't represent a review of the place. Yes it's expensive and if anyone's been before they know what to expect. We had a great time great service and the food as what we expected. At other locations I've reserved several days and catered food And that's why I came to test this one out when I'm able to bring 20 people and put it on an expense account which also makes the experience much better LOL. Highly recommend this fun place to take your buddies or your family. When you're done you can go karting next-door for more excitement for the evening. Did not have a good experience here. We've done TopGolf at a few other locations and typically went to the Alpharetta location before this one opened. I was initially excited for this one to open since it's closer to my home than Alpharetta. But I will happily drive the 20 extra minutes to Alpharetta to get the better experience (we've never had a bad experience at that one). The first thing I don't like about it is that there are only 2 levels. Every other location we've played at has 3 levels. For me, the fun of TopGolf is playing up "top" (or at least on the middle level). At Alpharetta we've always been able to request an upper level bay and gotten it. That wasn't the case here. We reserved a bay online a week in advance and paid the fee (which doesn't go towards food or play time). When we arrived, we requested an upper bay and said we'd be willing to wait longer for it. We were informed that regular people can't play upstairs, it's only for special events and parties. So while there were several empty bays upstairs, we were stuck playing on the bottom level where you can't see any of the targets. It was my first time playing on the bottom and it just wasn't fun. I prefer having the option to request and wait for a good bay (like at other locations). The food also wasn't as good at this location. I've always enjoyed the burgers and the buffalo chicken dip at other locations, but they were both just okay here. Service was just okay too. The staff wasn't super friendly like I'm used to and the food/drinks were slow to come out. Even the service at the bar upstairs (while we waited for our bottom bay) was poor. Our server disappeared after we were seated and brought waters. We had to order our drinks from the manager (who was a very nice and helpful lady), and it took forever to cash out. Overall, it just wasn't fun. If I'm going to pay a couple hundred dollars for a night out, I at least want to have fun and eat good food. We won't be back to this location. We'll be going back to Alpharetta from now on. read more

I went here on a weekend early in the morning when they opened. They were already busy when we arrived, but we were accommodated nicely and the wait was only 10-15min. Our server was nice and helpful. I've been to Topgolf before but she was nice in explaining the set up to my family. I wouldn't necessarily come here and eat. The food is alright. Aside from the Mac and cheese bites, I wouldn't recommend anything else. I got myself a mai tai and was disappointed in how much grenadine was in it. I couldn't finish it and didn't feel like asking them to remake it for me. Despite the food and drinks, everyone had a blast here. But it's not something we will do often. read more

I really enjoyed date night here with my husband. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. The food is your typical bar food but pretty decent. I had the jalapeños popper grilled cheese. I asked for burger patty in or on the side but that wasn't an option. I really wish it would have been because it would have made the sandwich that much better! Great experience here! I ended up reserving a spot at bay so I wouldn't have a problem with waiting. Tuesday's are 50% so that's also a plus! We also ended up ordering some food which was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much from a grilled chicken sandwich but it was perfect. Food is on the pricier side but that's a given with the type of environment food is being served. Our server was the best with her kindness and her constantly making sure we were doing well. I'm hoping they bring in some pool tables and other entertainment in the inside lounge since I was able to also enjoy that at some other top golf locations. In 2022 racism is still alive. Went here to take my wife to Topgolf for the first time and we sat outside a waitress told us that we will be served shortly. Went on the outside section where there was one other couple there and no one else. Then my wife and I saw a waitress and she made eye contact with us so we were patient. As I said there was no other people in the section at this time. Then a group of about six white people came and sat down for two seconds and she literally the waiter went over to them to take their order. At this point I was totally disappointment. I interrupted the waitress as she was about to take the order of the group and asked her if she did not see us sitting there and her response was she did CS but they waived her over as if you get service upon waving and not being the first one there. I rated it a four stars because I didn't bring my ID unfortunately and it's my fault however the waitress would not allow me to order a drink again that is my fault however I still wanted a drink so I walked over to the bar and they actually serve me a drink because I look older than 35. So she signed in and they told her it would be a 2 hour wait; which in hidsight is confusing it was just after 12pm on Monday. My wife and I tried TopGolf for the first time earlier this month. We've been coming weekly since. Both of the previous times, my wife brought her water bottle in while getting situated in our bay and getting drinks without a problem. That was not the case tonight! After spending $150 upfront on the app for gameplay and arriving for our reservation this evening, she was turned away and told she could not have it. Even after opening the water bottle to prove it was only ice and water, management kept making excuses as to why they wouldn't allow it. Not once did they offer a proper solution, such as allowing her to dump it out and fill it for her or allowing an exception tonight with a notice about not bringing it next time. Will not be returning to TopGolf ever again regardless of location and have requested my money back as I won't use it. read more

Went on a Friday at noon to beat the crowd. Had not been in a while so had the desk check in and direct. Attendant said I could go up to bay and wait for my son before starting and time didn't start until I started game. Once upstairs that changed quickly. Attendant approached and said I must start time immediately and would need to add others when they arrived. I drug my feet a bit but the attendant returned 2 min later to insist then again 2 min later stood by my side to watch me get game started. Honestly felt a bit harassed. My son arrived 10 min after I arrived so it was not long and there were many open bays still (no wait list). We ended up playing 90 minutes with the monitors getting 'hung up' twice during a game and nice between games cost time too. 90 minutes plus 1 bucket of drinks, delays in play, and pressures to start before party was all there for $118 then gratuity.....OUCH. went elsewhere for food and drink. We have visited this location numerous times. Today, the customer service was the worst. I had to go back inside to ask for assistance multiple times for our bay to include getting junior clubs, napkins, and placing an order for food. Our waiter was not present in our section at all. We only received one refill upon a request. We saw the managers a few times but they were too concerned about other business. The lemon pepper wings were over-seasoned and inedible. Our food didn't come out together and required an inquiry on the second half. To say we were unimpressed with our visit was an understatement. We will drive to another location for our next visit. I usually love this top golf location however recently the servers have been quite rude to my family and I. Today when we went our server was Taylor. She seemed quite annoyed from the very beginning. We didn't let her attitude ruin our fun. However, at the end when she brought out our checks rather than handing them out she slammed them on the table and told us to "Figure it out". Terrible just terrible. Came in and waited 30 minutes for a bay (which is fine it was Saturday and busy had no problems waiting). While waiting I got a drink at the bar. The bartender was on one, one on of the rudest people I have ever been served by. Don't know what her problem was, and even the guys sitting next to me commented on her attitude. After getting to our bay the server Kendall was extremely nice only good part. However towards our last 30 minutes we noticed an employee in a red shirt hovering over us, why we have no idea we were playing normally, not drinking heavily (I'm a police officer and work in the morning) so it was a little weird. At the end with a minute and a half left my friend piles five balls. Putting four to the side. The guy in the red shirt immediately comes over and tells us we can't do that and that my friend can only hit one more ball as we are past our allotted time. We had a minute left!!! I had told the guy excuse me sir we have a minute remaining my friend can hit the balls however he wants. To which he responded with (with that attitude ya all can leave now if you want) to which I replied I don't believe I'm giving you any attitude and given the fact that we did have time left until you stepped in and have spent nearly 200 dollars in play, food, and drinks I don't understand why my friend can't hit four remaining balls when he had time. The manger responded with "well time is expired now" kicked my friends last four balls and said "ya all have a nice day". Will never come back ever. Can't believe they can treat people this way. I would be fired from my job in a heart beat if I responded to people this way. But I guess it's common for Top Golf. This was probably the worse experience at this Top Golf. I have been here several times and this time made me not want to go back. The whole time we felt rushed to finish (This happens every time) When we first got there, we were trying to figure out how much time we wanted to play for and the lady came over to us and said something along the lines of you guys need to speed up and start playing because others are waiting. I feel like if I reserve the bay I should get quality time to be able to enjoy my time I pay for. Mind you we literally had just got there so I didn't understand what the rush was for. The waitress we had was very inattentive. We ordered some food and drinks. She only came back once throughout the whole time we were there. Which sucked because when they brought my Cobb salad out, they didn't give me any utensils to eat with it. I had to wait at least 10 minutes to find someone because she didn't come back until it was time for the check. It was almost like we had no waitress. We had to hunt down other people to simply get us a refill! I know when it's about 15 minutes the person serving you is supposed to come and ask if you want more time. Did we get that? No. She came when we were completely done playing and asked if we wanted more time. That's ridiculous. She was also serving the table next to us and it seemed like she was more attentive to them. She was right there so I don't understand why she never attempted to come over and checked on us. Also, when she did come to us it was like her attitude was bad like she barley wanted to serve us. Finally, it was our last minutes there and I had just got my food so I was still eating. There was like 3 people standing behind our bay waiting for us to get up so they could clean. That really irritated me because it's like now you're rushing me to leave when you just rushed me earlier to start as well. Plus, I had just got my food so Im not sure if they were expecting me to rush to eat it or what. They had the next people that reserved the bay standing there as well. We probably had about 5 minutes left but again why am I being rushed to leave when I reserve the time which is not even up yet. Then, if we wanted to extend the time we couldn't because 1. She didn't come back until the end and 2. They were ready to clean up and had other waiting behind us so we wouldn't have gotten a opportunity anyways. We felt like we were forced to get up and go because they were just all there staring at me eating waiting for me finish. Overall, it was just bad and I wouldn't recommend coming here especially if you don't want to get rushed for time you pay for! It's sad because we came here at least once a week faithfully. This is what our birthday girl asked for as her birthday treat. We had never been and had a great time. It's not cheap but I think the prices are expected for the type of establishment. At the end of our meal the attendant came to me and said they like to do a dessert for the birthdays. I said ok, chose from the options she gave us and the items were delivered quick and very hot ... it was the mini donuts and I should add they were phenomenal!! My only issue is this was offered to us, I didn't order it and my experience is if a dessert is offered for a birthday guest it is complimentary. However, this was not the case as we were charged the $11.50. Again it was a great dessert but none of us really wanted it and I wouldn't have chosen it had I known I would be charged. Would recommend, if this is standard practice, to explain this when offered. Otherwise, a great experience and we will definitely be back! We have been to the other top golfs in Atlanta beside this one, we thought we would give it a try since it was closer. First we got there and asked for a top bay, they said it would be an hour, after waiting we received our text message saying our bay is almost ready. It took another hour after that point. When our bay was ready the booked it for the first floor, we told them we had asked for the second floor and they said they would have to take our name off the list and put it down again and wait 2 hours and we would only be allowed to play for 15 minutes since they would be closing by that time. We obviously didn't want to wait that long so we played in the bottom floor. We were playing with a toddler so we always take the balls ahead of time and put them to the side for his turn to make it easier on us and so we don't have to bend down as much (back pain). We have always done this at other top golfs and have never had anyone say Anything to us. Well this time some young girl who works there in a red jacket who wasn't our server or had been helping us came up and said we can't do that and she kicked all balls down. I told her that was very rude and she could of just let us know for next time and she didn't respond and walked away smirking. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. After the fact when she would pass by our table she would just grin and never apologized. For context - we have a party of four. We've been planning to go for a few weeks now but the bay reservations are always booked up online. We made a plan to go to Top Golf and make a reservation (which we guessed the wait time would be about two hours) then go somewhere to get dinner nearby. After arriving, we made our reservation and were not told how long the wait time would be. We decided to sit in the bar area and our waitress asked us how long our wait time was and when we told her we didn't know, she said "hmm.. that's weird". Implying that we should've definitely been told. We had to go back to the check in desk to find out and it was a two hour wait. For the rest of the review, I would like to point out that I completely understand the two hour wait time. The game itself is usually two hours so that makes sense. After eating and drinking, we decided to go outside where the outdoor seating/grassy area is. We were watching others play through an empty bay for 35-45 minutes. Since that bay had been empty the entire time we were watching through there, we were talking about how that might be our bay. As it turns out, it was, and we had just sat there for at least 35 minutes while no one was in it. Given this, our wait time could've been cut down. Once we got to our bay, the associate assigned to us (Caleb) was great. He was very informative and came back to check on us multiple times. He had great customer service. Overall, the experience was fun and the food/drinks were great. The initial information of the wait time and how long the wait time was could definitely improve. (Again, I only say the wait time could improve because we saw our bay empty, for at least 35 minutes prior to us being in there). read more
