Been to this location multiple times and historically the service has been pretty good with attentive and friendly staff. Came here on a Saturday night and our server was nowhere to be found for the first 20 minutes when we arrived so we had to walk up to the bar to order drinks. When our server (I think Jeff? Or started with a J) finally came over he definitely was not friendly, looked like he didn't want to be there -- taking orders or simply asking for water was an annoyance to him. He also took a beer glass that was still half full when trying to clear out some plates from the table. I have been here quite a bit with family and friends. I enjoy my time here most of the time when I come. I especially loved when T-Mobile Tuesdays offered discounts on Sundays. However, my experience lately with the food hasn't been really a pleasant one. Our food today seemed to be like it was a day old or just been sitting under a heat lamp too long. The service with the staff is always top notch. Today and many other times visiting this Top Golf facility has always been pleasant with the staff. The staff all go 100% above and beyond from my experience here Alcoholic drinks are always great and the staff frequently checks on you and your group to ensure everyone is doing okay. I took my sales team here last week for a team event. There was only one golfer in the group, but we did our best to take a crack out of it. What I learned: Golf is not for me. I'd rather be the cheerleader on the sidelines. But my only wish was to be a cheerleader with phenomenal food to snack on. We ordered drinks, pretzels and cheese / mustard dip, queso, and a Turkey wrap. I must say, we were all very disappointed in the flavor of the food. I was hoping to make this the dinner but, but unfortunately I had to stop and get dinner on the way home because the food just wasn't that great. My take: seasonings. either too much salt in some dishes or not enough flavor in others. If you like golf and drinking, this is the place for you. The space seems to be a bit unkept. Went to experience this with some friends and the wait time was insane. I was trying to ask questions about setting up a reservation or if there was a way to come back another day for a quicker time. I was met with basic info that didn't answer any of my questions. Seemed to be very scripted answers that they could provided which I guess I understand as a large company. Still I doubt I will be coming back anytime soon. We all ended up leaving and heading to another place to hang. I can't speak about food but from what I could see the items did seem interesting and the menu did seem to offer a lot of options. Not a great experience- we made reservations and arrived early. I checked in and requested a second or third level. I was told we were on the third level and they were getting my bay ready. We waited an additional 25 minutes to be told sorry we were moved to the first floor accommodate others. I asked to speak to the manager- he did not apologize but did find a bay on the second floor which had 20 bays open. He just pointed to where we were supposed to be. I've been to top golf several times and even though I don't always win I have a blast. I'm competitive so I come here often with family and friends. I always recommend the top floor and the middle if possible for best shot of getting a whole in one. The bottom floor may be a bit more difficult for beginners. I win be back again!!! read more

So the concept is fun but the waitstaff truly sucks. Sitting right next to where the waitstaff inputs the orders for about 30 minutes and not a single one bothered to ask us if we wanted anything. I counted four at one time congregated around us and not a single one was curious if we had been served. I finally blocked the little machine where they put in the orders hoping I'd find out what the secret password was. The one waiter who came up told me to just sit down and wait and someone would come help us. Nobody did. That was 25 minutes ago. Maybe waiting patiently is the wrong approach. Maybe they want us to be belligerent? Who knows? Maybe there's a secret code to get served here. Regardless, I used the time to document the terrible service. Santii finally offered us water as we waited. He said we could order at the bar, I didn't want to with a 15 year old with me. He couldn't do anything for us so we left. My company hosted a business event here at the beginning of the year, before the pandemic hit, and our 100 guests are STILL talking about how much fun they had. I had never been to a Topgolf before, and am not into golf of any kind unless you count put-put, but this was quite the experience! We had a whole level/section to ourselves, with large, comfortable seating areas, and staff to keep the drinks filled. The games and challenging targets kept everyone entertained, and the music and lights made for a great atmosphere. We also had a connected, spacious private bar and dining area, where they served delicious southern fare -- fried chicken, mac and cheese, greens, and these crazy donut holes that you inject with giant needles filled with jelly. Considering this is an entertainment venue, not a legit restaurant, we were all very happy with the food. For those who weren't into the "golf" action, the Topgolf folks worked with us to offer a "casino" type option -- there were tables for blackjack as well as a craps, manned by dealers who could explain to our guests how to play (Blackjack is easy and relatively well-known, but Craps is one of the more complicated games I've ever played). The event staff, wait staff, and bartenders were fantastic to work with throughout the process -- very communicative, and willing to work with us on meeting our guests needs as well as our budget. And now that I know how much fun Topgolf can be, I'll be sure to consider it for other events we host in different parts of the country! read more

If I was only leaving a review for my first impression, I would have given a 1 star. The male who greeted us and others at the podium around 6:30 tonight, 3/29/24 was a complete jerk. COMPLETE JERK. Tell us you hate your job without saying you hate your job, I wish I would've looked at his name. I reserved and paid ahead, otherwise I might have turned around and walked out with my group because he was that off putting. However. Once we got to our bay, Alex was awesome. Alex was 5 stars. He redeemed the kiosk guy who obviously hates his job. Alex was attentive, polite and friendly and on top of it. HE obviously appreciates his job and his customers. Unfortunately the "greeter" tarnished our visit, but we did end up having a great time and will be back, hopefully without disrespect from the first representative of Top Golf that we see when we walk in the door. read more

We had such a great time. We didn't need to know anything about golf. Everything was explained and it really was just for fun. The technology is great. Hit the ball and watch the screen. We decided to get some dinner while there and it was surprisingly good. We got burgers which were thick and prepared properly. We started with chips and salsa and added a pitcher of beer. Went on a Tuesday night because it was half price. This was my first time being here and I'm hooked! It was so much fun! First of all we arrived and were immediately assigned to a bay on the lower level. Our server was very attentive and on top of things. We ordered the cheesy macaroni bites and nachos to start and they were delicious. My hubby and I cleaned the plate. Then we ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings and unfortunately by the time they arrived we so focused on trying to beat each other that we forgot to take a picture but they were delicious. My Margarita wasn't that strong but it was good. My husband ordered the seasonal dessert and it came while I was playing and he couldn't even control himself he took a bite. It was pretty good and I'm not a fan of pineapple upside down cakes but this was pretty yummy. The vibes were good, the food was good and the service was great. They have a great food selection which caters to a wide variety of tastes (we had folks who had allergies, others who were vegan or pescatarian) that still tastes way better than standard bar or party venue fair. I'm definitely a fan, and if you're like me and not into golf they have a number of other things to do like cornhole, the arcade, and many other activities. We had a fabulous time at TopGolf Austin --- spent around $400 in food and drinks alone, plus had a group of 9 playing and visiting. All of that great energy and great experience was rapidly destroyed while our party was leaving the venue. After we exited the main entrance, a manager named John approached our group requesting to see our receipt. We thought this was unusual and asked why he requested to see the receipt. He stated that he needed to verify that we paid for the bottle of wine that we had corked by the servers to take home, since it had about 33% of the wine left in the bottle. The tone of the request and the ensuing poor justification for the request from John was accusatory in nature and screamed of discrimination since our group was speaking Spanish. This was an international group of family visiting, with residents in Austin/Round Rock, Washington, DC, and Spain. We are all highly accomplished professionals who work in senior positions in government, as medical professionals, and as highly successful business people. To have staff suddenly imply that we were stealing a nearly empty bottle of wine was abhorrent and a total discredit to the amazing time we had as a family at Top Golf. This was my first time at TopGolf and I was planning to return until this horrible racist experience took place. The manager eventually apologized for the inquiry, though what made the situation worse was that security guards came and stood behind him with a smirk on their faces. They were taunting us for being Spanish speakers after we finally left the manager behind---even though the manager apologized for his actions. For the record, we did comply with the request and presented the manager with the receipt. We also offered to leave the bottle with him since he was so rude to us. It makes 0 sense for staff to assume we would've stolen a bottle of wine when the only way we would have access to the bottle is if we had ordered a full bottle. The servers closed us out well before we exited the facility and the manager should've queried internally before this exchange would have ever happened. You must retrain your staff. It is unacceptable to demand a receipt like this and embarrass a group of patrons who spent good money at your facility. This would have been a 5-star review based on our experience playing TopGolf and with the servers, who were all fantastic. John ruined our evening and needs to be held accountable for his actions. The security guards should also be retrained, racial taunts are not acceptable and not up to the TopGolf brand standard I've previously been familiar with. I expect follow-up from TopGolf management with an explanation of what will be done to prevent this unfortunate situation from happening to other customers. read more

We took our family here for a night of fun before Thanksgiving. We had people from ages 5 to 69 and everyone had fun! My brother had reserved a bay for us and we got right in at 8 pm. We were on the main floor, which I enjoyed. Our server was attentive and fast! We got waters, drinks and sodas very quickly. The bar was a little light on the pours, but that's ok. We didn't need to get hammered, just a little loosening up of the swing. We played a couple of different games, one where you choose your own target and one where they are selected for you. All were fun and we did ok. It's tough when you only play a couple times a year! Even those who don't play golf had fun, and that was the point. I've been hitting here almost a year now. It's always a great experience. Until today. The technology that I paid an extra large price for (Memorial Day weekend - pretty big jump in price) didn't work. For two hours the tracking system didn't work. That's why I come here. The tracking system. Our server apologized saying that it was being "glitchy." The server regularly checked on us and the current situation and tried multiple times to get it working correctly. I felt bad for them as they kept apologizing for something that wasn't their fault. But it was someone's... and it really impacted my impression of Top Golf. There was no option to reach tech support or escalate the situation to get real technical help. On top of that, I paid $67.00 to reserve the two hours of game time I had. I arrived 15 minutes before my "tee time" and wasn't assigned a bay until 2 minutes after the official time slot I had booked. The timer started two minutes before I got there and the tracer never worked. After food and drinks I feel like I lost not just $200 but also much more valuable time with my family. I'm not sure if I'll go back... Now will someone please invent the driving range that has real explosions if you hit certain, small targets? Real, but small and very safe explosions. I lost time and money simultaneously today and that was a bad feeling. RIP read more

I've been to Topgolf more times than I could probably count, but I had to write this review after my most recent visit because of the food items we ordered. We ordered the jalepeno popper grilled and cheese and the Korean pork wraps. DELICIOUS! This was by far the best food I've had at top golf - they've really upped their game! I'd definitely recommend making a reservation for a bay otherwise you might end up with quite the wait. We went on a Sunday afternoon and only had to wait 45 mins which wasn't too bad but I know it can get long. We made the most of it and sat at the bar for a couple drinks before it was our time. Tip: The website doesn't have many reservation options if you're looking to go in less than a week on a weekend. If you try to call, they don't take reservations over the phone. If you live close enough, drop by to put your name on the wait list and come back closer to when they tell you the bay will be ready. I went on a Sunday at 1PM and we were able to play at 4:30PM. We were told the wait was going to be 2.5-3 hours. Eeek. So I waited around in the bar area. Then we moved to the second floor patio. The seating was nice. The Fans kept us cool enough but it was still hot (85F that day). You order drinks and food at the bar and then they find you. We got the wing trio, flatbread, burger, brownie & ice cream in a skillet. All good bar food. Drinks were a little more costly than a typical bar. A staff member asked if i needed directions and walked me to the bathroom. Upon leaving, i saw staff wiping down door handles (this should be done even after we recover from the pandemic!) When we finally got to our bay, set up was quick and it was nice that a staff member dropped by to see that we had questions/issues with set up. I used my Tmobile Tuesday coupon (buy one hour, get one hour free) so it wasn't too costly. Otherwise it would've been $37+ per hour. I'm also a lefty so they gave me left-handed golf clubs. I have been here dozens of times and it's always a good time. Environment: is nice but it's almost always loud. The bays are outdoors, but they do their best to keep customers at cool or warm, but still dress appropriately for the weather. They have bays with high top tables or lawn type furniture, so feel free to specify if you have a preference. Food: I have tried a couple things here and they are okay. However, their burger are definitely above par (see what I did there). Drinks: they have full bars with lots of options. Draft beer selection is under par, but not a double bougie. Also the place is a money pit the way they charge for time, not balls--and they expect to sell you food and cocktails like a restaurant or bar. Let me begin with the Top Golf Experience. It was as great. My friend and I had a really good time playing the game, and the vibe is very chill. The food tasted really good, we had no complaints. Drinks were also good. Here is where they only get 3 stars. The customer service from the moment we entered to the moment we left was TRASH. The girl at the front counter was very nonchalant & rude. Once we finally got to our bay, everything seemed to be going well until the waitress Caitlyn P. brought us the check. My friend paid with a card but had intentions of leaving a cash tip so because of that he wrote zero for the tip. She go to run his card and when she dropped the receipt off she says to us "I only make like $3 an hour I would appreciate it if you don't stiff me on the tip" he didn't think he heard her correctly so he asked "what did you say?" She quickly said "oh nothing and walked off." He approached her as we left and told her that he didn't write a number on the receipt because he was tipping cash and didn't appreciate being prejudged she then says how sorry she is and says oh you don't have to tip but because he's a good person he still gave her the tip and just told her not to do the same to people moving forward. Customer service can make or break an establishment I feel that maybe they should evaluate their hires little better. read more

First time visit about two weeks ago and I really enjoyed the experience. A small group of us stopped by on a Friday night with no reservations. To our surprise, the wait time for the top floor was only 30mins but we were promptly called within 10mins. During our wait we enjoyed a round of the spiked lemonade - blackberry - which was super tasty with a little alcohol. Staff was courteous and friendly - all practiced safety measures The food was delicious; we opted for a few small plates which did not disappoint. Must have items are cheesy macaroni bites, signature nachos, warm pretzel bites and the pepperoni flatbread. As for drinks, two of us had the mojitos which were disappointing as it lacked sugar. Next round I went with the Trop' Fruit Mai Tai which was spot on - yummy. I do recommend - can't wait to come back soon. read more

Cool place to hang out with friends and family. It's fun even if you don't golf at all. There's various game modes to choose from. It generally is pretty busy later in the day and on the weekends. There are reservations available for an additional fee on the website. Each bay is rented by the hour. You can always start with 1 hour and extend before your time is up; the screen will give you a 15 minute warning and ask if you want to extend. The staff is always super friendly. The food and drink services are great. I didn't get any pics of the food this time around, but they have various handheld food that's pretty tasty. read more
