I have been here dozens of times and it's always a good time. Environment: is nice but it's almost always loud. The bays are outdoors, but they do their best to keep customers at cool or warm, but still dress appropriately for the weather. They have bays with high top tables or lawn type furniture, so feel free to specify if you have a preference. Food: I have tried a couple things here and they are okay. However, their burger are definitely above par (see what I did there). Drinks: they have full bars with lots of options. Draft beer selection is under par, but not a double bougie. Staff: they have mostly been nice here. read more

Cool place to hang out with friends and family. It's fun even if you don't golf at all. There's various game modes to choose from. It generally is pretty busy later in the day and on the weekends. There are reservations available for an additional fee on the website. Each bay is rented by the hour. You can always start with 1 hour and extend before your time is up; the screen will give you a 15 minute warning and ask if you want to extend. The staff is always super friendly. The food and drink services are great. I didn't get any pics of the food this time around, but they have various handheld food that's pretty tasty. read more

I hate that my kids and I have to share a stall/bay and take turns hitting balls. Family members cannot hit balls at the same time. Also the place is a money pit the way they charge for time, not balls--and they expect to sell you food and cocktails like a restaurant or bar. To conclude, it's not a place for real golfers to practice, but for groups that just want to have a good time with a bowling alley format, it's a nice facility. read more

This Topgolf is always a must whenever I visit Austin, TX. We put our names in and got to order food/drinks at the bar while waiting. We ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings for our appetizer, and our server was so attentive and helpful! I wish I knew his name. When your lane is ready, you can just take your food with you and order more if you want. We got the BBQ Brisket Flatbread that was delicious! Always such a fun experience paired with such good food. Lots of sanitation for the equipment and each station too! read more

Really enjoyed a night out here! Went early evening on a Friday and was really impressed with the cleanliness and social distancing set up. This was a perfect place to enjoy a night out during a pandemic. Staff was wonderful and friendly and provided a safe environment with great service! The service at this Topgolf has always been great! The food is always good, whether you order appetizers or entrees. The drinks are equally as amazing. read more

My first time at a TopGolf was this one in Austin and it was so much fun! We went with our 2 boys and they had a blast. Service was fast and servers were very knowledgable and friendly. Will definitely be visiting again. read more

I attended a large gathering here for work, and it was a great experience from start to finish. First of all, the weather was absolutely beautiful, and it made for a great day of Top Golf. The staff that assisted our group were fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed-extremely attentive. The food on the buffet line was very good, and our drinks were always filled. They even had a staff member come around to give us golfing tips, and make sure we understood exactly what we were doing. I stink at anything golf related, but Top Golf makes it all fun. An excellent place for a group get together, or even a business lunch! Relaxed atmosphere, great service, and clean facility-what more can you ask for. Will absolutely be back! read more

Great service! a little pricey$$$ but if you golf it's nothing out of the ordinary, the view is beautiful! Food is very good you can actually enjoy everything from the appetizers! And they are always delicious in the summer they keep it cool and in the winter its usually good too read more

Pricey, but a fun outing for you and your friends. We personally like to go for the golf and a beer or two. It's the best bang for your buck. The food is decent, you can't really go wrong with any of the items, but like we said; is a bit pricey. Top golf is a great way to spend a hot summer day though or friend's birthday! read more

Ever since I first heard about them during one of my trips to Vegas, I had been dying to check out Topgolf. At its core, it's not particularly unique (at its core, it's a driving range), yet it's still pretty awesome! A driving range that's gamified with a scoring system, an extensive (bar) food, drinks, and a bunch of TV's - what's not to like? Throw in the pool and the backdrop of hitting alongside The Strip and it definitely looked like a good time! So, you can bet I was stoked to be coming here for my buddy's bachelor party! Too bad I left my golf swing back home in the Bay Area, though... Compared to what I've heard about their location in Vegas, this Topgolf isn't nearly as over the top (e.g. no pool behind the hitting bays). Not that we really needed (or expected) it to be, anyways; this place is impressive enough as is! Besides offering over 100 bays across three decks (which, thankfully, are all cooled), they've got a fairly large bar/indoor dining area with a ton of TV's tuned to a variety of sporting events, a "pro" shop, a rooftop terrace, and a gaming lounge with a handful of pool tables, shuffleboard tables, and some video game stations. Despite how Topgolf offers so many different things to do though, there's clearly one thing that everyone comes here for - to swing some clubs and hit some balls! However, unlike your typical sort of driving range, Topgolf is much more high-tech - tracking technology to measure just about everything about your swing/ball (the flight of your ball in the air, speed, where your ball lands/stops, etc.), monitors to display different metrics, and a scoring system that assigns points based off of how close your ball lands various holes (which have different values assigned). In short, it's kind of like a cross between a driving range and bowling that's a whole lot of fun. As part of our group's reservation, we also had a food and drink minimum that we had to satisfy, but that was a breeze considering how hungry and "thirsty" we all were. Admittedly, some of the drinks felt a little pricey for what you get, but otherwise, the food actually seemed pretty reasonable (unless they're high by Texas standards and we're all just jaded by the Area...). What's more, the food here was actually pretty solid. Sadly, I don't have any pictures to post (did I mention how "thirsty" we were?), but we ended up ordering quite a bit (with multiples of each): -- GUAC & CHIPS - House-made Guacamole with Tortilla Chips & Salsa...$7.50 -- TOP GOLF WINGS with Mango Habanero, Asian Sesame, and Buffalo Sauces...$11.25 -- GRILLED "BACKYARD" WINGS - Dry-rubbed, Citrus-brined Chicken Wings with Garlic Vinaigrette, Carrots, Celery, and Ranch...$11.25 -- QUESADILLAS - Monterey Jack, Cheddar, Pepper Jack, and Grilled Peppers...$9.50 -- PEPPERONI FLATBREAD - Marinara, Five Cheese Blend, Pepperoni...$11.25 -- MARGHERITA FLATBREAD - Marinara, Mozzarella, Fresh Tomatoes, Shaved Parmesan, Basil...$10.75 -- CHARGRILLED STEAK FLATBREAD - Marinated Steak, Grilled Red Onion, Five Cheese Blend, Chimchurri, Jalapeno, and Piquillo Peppers...$11.75 -- CHEESE CURDS...$8.50 -- FRENCH FRIES...$4 -- TATER TOTS...$4 While most of what we had was pretty standard (Guac & Chips, Cheese Quesadilla, Fries, Tots), a couple of things were actually surprisingly good. Granted, all of the beer and alcohol might have had something to do with it, but I thought the cheese curds (super cheesy), the queso (even for a chain, this had a nice kick to it), and the wings with the Asian sesame sauce (the sauce had a slight sweetness to it) were all pretty decent. The pepperoni flatbread was pretty solid as well, though the crust on one of them was a bit burnt. Similarly, the drinks were pretty good as well, though I didn't have anything but beers and Moscow Mules (which didn't have a heavy pour, but were quite tasty). Beyond the actual driving range/games, as well as the food and drinks, the service/staff here was terrific. Part of our group was already at our bays when the rest of us arrived, so I can't speak to what checking in was like. However, our host (who helped manage the logistics/experience) was both friendly and helpful (she recommended some places for us to check out) while our primary server was very attentive, as he checked on us often, and was very patient, taking our random one-off orders every time he passed by. All in all, while Topgolf is a little expensive for something to do on a whim, it's perfect for group events, whether it be corporate functions, birthday parties, or bachelor parties, like ours. Kind of a shame that there isn't one in the Bay Area just yet, but definitely glad I was finally able to make it to one! read more

I've been to Topgolf several times. Came here to celebrate one of our friends birthdays. It was a super fun night out. The wait staff is really great. Solid adult fun. We've come on many occasions and times of the week. Food is good but typical bar menu. Drinks are good but pricey. The actual golfing is so fun with the different types of games! lol this bundle of reviews I'm leaving, I'm calling them my "covid letters" You'll notice I finally got around to knocking out some reviews on places, finishing up some pending reviews, and just going back and putting it out there for some that I was holding out on. "big pimpin quarantino" over here. I'm sucky at golf but my gf is the absolute worst at it. She's adorable and I love her but she's an embarrassment to the game. I'm telling you this so because ITS OKAY IF YOU'RE NOT GOOD AT IT. Nobody gives a flip.... except me, I'm about freaking winning at everything. Total domination. With no holding back and no remorse. But Fr here's my pro tip: get as many people in your group as possible. Makes it a lot cheaper.... then you'll have to hit less and you get to drink more. Highly recommend planning it out and coming with 4/5 people, and rent some time and chill. Then if you decide you love it then you can go back as a date night like me and Bri did. Commit less gain more -- all about just making Topgolf a plan and not a spur of the moment thing. read more

My brother and his gf came to visit my spouse and I. We had to take him to top golf! Nothing beats hitting some balls on such a beautiful day in Austin. We ordered a bucket of white-claws and had a blast playing the different games. The food here is good but the Vegas location has amazing food! I do recommend getting the donut holes with the syringes. Those are very tasty! The cocktails I will say are always good. They are very refreshing when it does get real hot! read more

Top golf was not bad at all! Loved the concept and the interactive play! The staff was very nice and the food was ok. I honestly like the donut holes more than anything! They came with 2 sauces that you stuff in the donut holes! I like the raspberry filling. Prices can get expensive quickly, so I would be careful with playtime and food. It ranks up pretty quick. read more

One of my favorite activities, top golf ATX was solid. Ive only been to the one in Las Vegas and this place didn't miss a beat. Came Sunday morning to watch football, get wings and beer, and hit some balls. The top golf system is super easy and fun, they provide everything which is great. Its like being in a video game, I don't really like actual golf but I love this place. The service here was great as our attendant/server was fast and friendly. Such a fun outing but the food quality has gone a long way down. Nachos arrived cold, cheeseburger was very salty. Attendants spend their time chatting with each other and very far from the golfers. No way to get their attention. Our manager did step in to help after the poor service. read more

The activity itself is a lot like bowling (it's exciting at first but then teeters off and everyone loses interest), but Topgolf does a great job at making the lull time entertaining. Booze, bites, and pop music round out the offerings. Once you sign up for a membership (free) you start to receive their promotional emails which include some pretty stellar specials, so if you enjoy it the first time, you'll appreciate the lineup of deals. Topgolf - Chips, salsa and *queso* (nacho cheese) - New American Near Me - Austin, Texas

This was my first time at TG and I went with a group of 6-- the max amount of people they were allowed per bay. Thank you for being open during a pandemic and allowing people to have safe fun. While I had a great time, the experience was less than desirable. The initial setup was confusing and more expensive than planned. Had to wait even though we a reserved a bay. Service was disorganized-- our server clearly needed help but no one else seemed to be interested. Long wait time for drinks, payments got charged to the wrong cards. Not to mention there was fans blowing, but no type of cold air being circulated...in Austin during August! Which made for sweaty seating on fabric couches. Because of all this I personally wouldn't go back, but it was fun for the occasion! read more

This is a fun place to go with a group or even a date night. It is definitely a bit pricey, but not horrible. And if you are flexible with when you go, there are ways to make it really affordable. They have food and drinks that are pretty decent. Nothing that's going to blow you away, but usually good enough. Only problem we've had recently was due to them being short staffed and they said for was going to be a minimum of 90 min to 2 hours. But they have several games you can play to keep the golfing interesting and they do provide everything you'll need, even left-handed clubs! read more

We had a great evening and company event with customers. lots of good food, laughter, and fun where a good time was had by all. Even the non golfers had fun and were able to play some of the games. Please review all of your internal reviews that are submitted via email from yesterday 12/17. I'm sure you'll get a lot of disappointed reviews. It's Christmas time. If the bay next to us already paid their time in full but had to leave and did the friendly gesture of giving that PAID time to the friendly strangers next to them DO YOU REALLY need to send some body guard to tell them to leave. GREEDY. You're still making people wait 45 minutes for Bays when there were so many empty. Soooo disappointed. It's Christmas time! Let people do nice things for on another. It was only 30'minutes left of paid time. read more

Took my Son for the first time to Top Golf to try out his new set of clubs. My Son is celiac and prior to ordering food I alerted our waiter about this as even cross contamination can cause a severe reaction for days. After speaking with our waiter, I was assured that the kitchen would be notified and they would ensure there wouldn't be any cross contamination. Later that night it was obvious that my Son was gluten poisoned and after 12 days he still has hives on his body. I filled out their email survey alerting Top Golf about this so that hopefully no one else has to go through this and I have yet to hear back. Very disappointing. Please do better Top Golf. read more

It is my 2nd time visiting Topgolf and it was just as fun as I remembered. After we checked in the staff informed us of a waiting time and that we could get messaged from them via text. Also that there is a game/lounge area downstairs with pool, foosball and bunch of TVs and chairs. Less than 10 minutes we were notified that our section was available for us. Initially we played for a hour and as the time was up we were allowed to continue playing. You are able to increase your time limit in 15, 30, 45 and a hour. I think thats great since 15 minutes was all we needed to finish up our round. There are plenty of clubs to choose from depending on how the far/high you want to hit the golf ball. The staff was attentive and was always swinging by to see if we needed anything. Definitely a place to visit, even if you're not that great at golf. You'll have a good time. read more

It was fun but kind of expensive. They have drinks and food but they are mediocre. Our waiter Alvaro was good by my standards. I don't like when servers check on you too much. This place is crazy. It's huge. It's busy. The staff is great. Unfortunately, the hot weather put a bit of a damper on the outdoor activities the other night as I am not a hot-weather kinda girl (unless I'm in a body of cool water or under a palapa with an ice cold drink and a fan with a heavy mist coming my way....). But there's an indoor area, too. And it's huge as well. So....after the outdoor festivities started to wind down, several of us went inside for one more beverage to cool down. Totally fun place - even if you don't play golf and make a fool out of yourself when trying to drive a golf ball for points (which I don't....and I did). read more

I hadn't been to Top Golf in about a year, and though I am not a golfer myself I can see the attraction. I don't have one anywhere close by to where I live... the closest is probably a good two hours away, so going here doesn't happen very often. I was with a semi-large group, and we arrived around 8pm so it was a bit of a later session. We were set up in two bays on the upper deck, relatively centrally located, so ranging on any of the targets was relatively easy. My performance was about what I expected... dead straight shots, no hook or slice, but no power either. Basically I use my muscle memory from tennis to drive my shots, which works very well but I have no precision in terms of ranging. We did order from the menu a number of different appetizers and drinks, and they were all decent. I will certainly give them this... the food is good...a bit pricey, but good. Service was exceptional as well... they were attentive to any issues we had, helped us out in figuring out how to get started, and our food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. There is really only one complaint I have about the place, and that is that once we were getting towards the end of the evening, and they were closing up shop, the music selection changed to... well, let's just say that had the United States used this music in Panama, Noriega would have surrendered sooner. read more
