Trip gulf is the top level of having fun. It was my groups first time here and we had a blast. Drinks were surprisingly affordable. The atmosphere is upscale with a relaxed vibe. The area that you golf from has super comfy seating. The drinks are on point. It's a great place for friends to chill while hitting some balls. The food was so delicious. Yum, yum. I had a blast and would recommend coming here to everyone. read more

I arrived early before the rest of my group and figured I'd hang out and grab a beer - I figured wrong... The bar on the main level is only available to people with a table. Instead they send us single peasants downstairs to what is referred to as "The Dungeon Bar." I walked the entire first floor looking for a bar, until an employee finally told me that there isn't actually a bar, I just have to sit down somewhere and someone will come serve me. After wasting ten perfectly good drinking minutes, I comply and sit down. After waiting another 10 minutes for someone to come take my drink order, the girl sitting in front of me at a table comes and takes my Order. Yes, the server in the dungeon bar ignored me for ten minutes while she sat at the table in front of me. Fast forward to when my group arrived and we were sent to our bay. Our server continually forgot what we ordered, resulting in us hunting him down to get refills and the food items we originally requested. (No, they weren't busy) I'm from Vegas, so this place has always given me anxiety because it's an expensive tourist trap. Golf is fun, but not when I'm paying $50/hr + F&B for bad... scratch that... no service. read more

I've been to Topgolf several times. Real golf is loads more fun but I can definitely see the appeal this version has with groups of millennials or families. In my opinion, the experience is overpriced, membership costs a fee, the food is similar to what you eat at Chili's and costs more, but coming here to celebrate a bday and drink, I'm all in. I got a mimosa that was under $10 and not bad at all. I was in a group of 11 people and we had two sections next to each other. We had a 20 minute wait for our group (we came in the morning for the morning price deal). read more

That's right! I'm a fan!! Now I am not giving this place 5 stars for two reasons. Reason one I ordered a drink off the menu and they didn't have it. I ordered a moscato and they didn't have that as well. Those of you that know me, know love my super sweet adult beverages and get a little annoyed when I can't get exactly what I want. Don't get me wrong they created a super cute drink to tame my cravings for a wine cocktail. (Hey they tried) Number two reason I am only giving this place 4 stars is because I am not sure how good the food is. Hear me out....... I ordered a salad. Now any restaurant that can not make a descent salad honestly should just shut down and not waste everyone's time. The salad I ordered came with a nice grilled chicken breast and the veggies were super fresh. As they should be specially since this place had only been officially open for 2 days. The salad was good and in fact I left a tip that everyone should try it. When I return to this place I plan to try one of the entrees and then and only then will I feel qualified to consider giving this place another star....... Now with all of that said....... let me just say that the facility is very clean, the staff is super sweet and very helpful. This is a fun place and I love the vibe. I can see myself dragging a date here, dragging my lady friends here and even dragging my teens here as well. They have a cool set up where you wave your club in front of a senor and it rolls out a ball for you. I like the fact that the balls are unlimited. I also love the fact that they supply golf clubs so you don't have to bring yours.... unless you want to. Lastly I should write to be continued...... since I plan a second visit. I'll keep you updated...... read more

As we were preparing to leave a manager named Alisa wearing a red shirt around 3-3:30 pm rudely came to our couch lounge area and herded us out like we were cattle. Not thanking us for our time but complaining that they needed this space for guests. We were paying guests, bought food and extra time. We were there celebrating our Pastor's birthday and he nor us deserved such rude treatment. It was truly an embarrassment and made us feel very offended read more

Why do we not have a Top Golf in Charleston? They would absolutely kill it. I had never been before, but heard rumors so I knew what to expect. We arrived around 4 and had a group of 7. The ones who hadn't been quickly got our cards set up to golf and we all made our way upstairs to our station. You can only have 6 play a game at once, but that didn't stop them from keeping us on one bay to keep the cost down. Two of us rotated in and out so everybody got a chance to golf. 7 people on one game can take a while so if you actually want to get some swings in, you may want to split up the group. We were starting our bachelor party festivities so it was great to have quick and friendly staff bring us buckets of beer, food, and rounds of shots when necessary. The whole place was really very organized and the different golf games made it fun. Whether you enjoy golfing or not, you'll have fun at Top Golf. read more

I used to LOVE coming here! It was classy, well taken care of and the food was great! Now... Not the case. I only post this review in hopes that management or ownership will tweak things to make it the place it once was. read more

Place is super cool. Perfect establishment to visit on a Sunday afternoon to wind down a bachelor weekend. A bar, good booze selection, lots of flat screens to watch the games, and a driving range with a competition factor. You do have to get a $5 "membership" to play which stinks for out of towners like me. But at least it was only $5. It's $40 an hour to play, so split amongst 6 guys, it's not too expensive, but the more people, the fewer hits you'll get. There was a tv at each stall which was cool - got to watch NFL while playing. Waitresses constantly come around for drink orders. There are 3 levels, all covered, so on a hot day, it's not too bad in the shade. Can't imagine this place would ever be full with so many stalls, but it was pretty crowded when we went. There are different games to choose from and the computer keeps track of everything for you so it's awesome. I suck and came in last place but whatever, it's fun to play regardless. In short, the object is to drive the ball into one of the targets, further being better. So the experienced golfers will do better, but there's some added skill involved as opposed to just slamming it. With enough practice, you can get better at it. But be prepared to be upset if you're a first timer haha. All in all, if you like golf (or just swinging a club), friendly competition, watching sports, and drinking, this is a fun spot to chill. read more

We hadn't been to Top Golf in quite a while and decided to venture over there with a large group in the middle of a pandemic. You would think that would not go over well, but they knocked it out of the park! We booked two bays as there was a limit to how many people could be in an area. This assured that we felt safe. There was big plastic "shower curtains" draped between each bay and once in your assigned, area you don't have to wear a mask. We were able to watch staff clean other bays as each party left a bay and I can tell you first hand that everything, including the clubs. Our waiter wore a mask the whole time and did a great job of being attentive with such a large group. The food was all delicious! You would think if you were going somewhere to play like this the food would be "meh", but let me tell you. The whole group agreed it was better than some nice restaurants you could go to. I loved the pretzels and dipping sauce. The burger melted in your mouth. All in all, it was a great time to get out of the house during COVID. We felt safe and had an awesome time! read more

Great for beginners and pros alike. This was a great place to go at night with the lights and the feel. It was hopping on a Tuesday night. I was with a large group that crowded into two neighboring stalls. I wasn't paying but it seemed a bit steep if you were to come with a smaller group- however I am aware golf itself not a cheap past time. It was loads of fun and I felt confident in my beginner swing as well as being able to land in several of the lit targets. read more

My friend and I had never played TopGolf, but I had briefly heard about it from a friend who played in Chicago. We were a little skeptical on how fun it would be, but it was a rainy day in Austin on our vacation and we didn't really know what else to do. Getting a bay was easy and they walked is up to it and explained how to play. They also offered me lefty clubs and explained the different ones. We ordered the chips and guacamole and golfed the afternoon away. This was a fun way to spend a couple of hours under the weather cleared! read more

Went here for the first time on Saturday. Got the "lifetime" membership and waited for about 50 minutes to get a bay at 4:30. They text when your bay is ready is nice. Then you go to concierge counter. Took almost 20min after we started for the waiter to come by and ask if we wanted food. Yes we did! Knocked off a star for that. Food was okay. Got the beer cheese dip stuff. Tasted like mixing Velveeta "glue cheese" and a mild beer in your mouth. Meh. The salsa that came along was fresh tasting though. Just good for a snack not a dinner in my opinion. You will feel rushed during the game, it's all about how much time you buy. To me an hour isn't enough, but two is too long. Wish you could do 30 min increments. Or maybe you can? Idk Anyway it was fun. Very cool when it got dark as well. I'll definitely be back Update: minus another star for texting me and emailing daily about promos. Texting should be for when you reserve your bay ONLY. Emails isn't a huge deal though I never remember agreeing to get spam using either method. read more

My family & I love Top Golf! This last time going was NOT at all what we expected it to be especially for the price. Since we had a bit of a wait we decided to eat bar side while waiting. We ordered appetizers about 20 minutes prior to our meal. Our food took a long time to come out which is understandable when it's busy but when we finally got out food it was room temperature. We were served our dinner before our appetizers. Now our waitress was amazing she did what she could to recover service which we could appreciate her effort. Overall, we probably will eat before we go next time. read more

First off, let me state, I am NOT a golfer. My wife's company during their annual meeting hosted a social event at Top Golf. I went along to cheer the golfers on. The facility is LOUD from the crowd noise to the music. It's very high-energy all the way around. Her company provided a nice fajita buffet which was pretty good. I enjoyed sitting back to watch all the golfers try to hit the targets in the field. Erin, our server/hostess, took excellent care of us the whole evening and never let our drinks run out. Going to Top Golf was an interesting experience and enjoyable. read more

Had a lot of fun here today. Only been to one other top golf in Las Vegas and was very intoxicated so I don't remember it. Today I was able to learn how to hit the ball and make some points. I didn't win but it was a lot of fun. It can be a little pricy but we did play for about 2 1/2 hours. Drinks were good, music was good and they have tap beer! Very easy to find, they had a large amount of parking. Everyone was very friendly and helped us get our games started! Definitely recommend doing this for fun! read more

I try not to leave bad reviews for business, but this situation has really rubbed me the wrong way. I came in with my roommates on a double date night Friday 11/12. We stopped at the bar while we waited for our bay, and the drinks were good. Once we got our bay we ordered food immediately knowing that we could only afford 1 hour of golfing. Our Korean rib dish didn't come to us untill about an hour and 10 mins after ordering. The server was great and apologized and even have us an extra 15 mins of free golf for waiting. The lettuce that came with the 25 dollar appetizer was wilted and soggy and was inedible. After the server came and gave us our check which was suppose to be split, I showed her the lettuce and she did the right thing and removed the item from the check. When she returned with our final check last it was split properly with the appetizer removed from the bill. We paid our way and left. My bank account statement this morning on Monday 11/15 says I have been charged for the bar transaction, the bay transaction, then another 128 dollars. The 128 was the original price for everything before the split that my card got charged but didn't show up on my bank account untill 3 days later. Mind you I didn't have the funds for that extra 128, so now not only is my account negative but I'm going to get an overdraft charge of 32 dollars from my bank. I called top golf for some resolution and the manager I asked to speak to told me that it was an accident by the server and that that charge should be back into my account in the next couple of business days. She said she will talk to the server but that was it. I only spent about 90 dollars on Friday, but ended up getting charged another 128, which made my account negative and another charge of 32 was taken out. I don't feel that this is right nor was this problem handled properly. I'm just supposed to eat that 32 dollar fee because someone on your team messed up? Y'all need to understand not everyone who comes to your facility has a lot of money and can be charged whatever you fell is necessary. I was never told about the accidental charge and wasn't ready for my account to go negative because of it. Please fix this! Thanks read more

Overall, our visit to Top Golf was a fun experience. I expected the house clubs to be as fitted as house balls are at the bowling alley, and I was right. So if you're not bringing your own clubs, just have some fun. The service was great. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The scoring technology is amazing but not quite there yet. Some shots get scored and some don't, and the scoring algorithm seems inconsistent. The software program doesn't automatically advance to the next player's turn like at a bowling alley, either. But if you're just out to have some fun and more than a few laughs, you won't go wrong if you choose Top Golf. I'll definitely go again. read more

4 stars for the entertainment, 3.5 stars for service. Saturday night. Wait was about an hour on a night out with the boys. Drinks were decent--my friend ordered an old fashioned cocktail that tasted like straight alcohol. Our server was quick to take back the drink and make it right. I'm not very good at golf, but it was still fun trying to chip the balls into the marked holes! Will definitely be back to try golfing again anytime I'm in Austin! read more

My friend and I came at 10:45p to golf & eat on a Friday night. The place wasn't very busy at all. Everything was delicious on the menu: shrimp cocktail, the grilled chicken wings, and the pretzel bites. The shrimp cocktail was so delicious. The two stars are for getting pressured into leaving before our hour of golf was even over. We had 15 minutes left while we were eating our food when the waitress came over & told us we had to decide right then whether we wanted to extend our time. We were in the middle of eating the $40 in food we had ordered so we asked if we could decide at the end of our hour if we wanted to extend or not. Considering that they were not busy at all we didnt presume this would be a problem at all. Wellllll we were wrong. She shrugged and said, "I guess." And walked away. She returned not two minutes later to tell us that her manager was closing the section down and that we had to decide immediately whether to extend our time or not. Annoyed, we said no. Keep in mind that we are still in the middle of eating dinner!! She brings us the check and makes us sign right away. Our hour of golf wasnt even up yet!! And we had half our food left!! She returned again to say that there was a miscommunication and we were "welcome to stay and finish our food but if you want to play I have to re-reserve you." Wait, what?!? We are "welcome" to finish our food!? I dont know who let the inmates run the asylum but we felt 100% pressured to leave for no reason. Date night ruined. But hey, at least the shrimp cocktail we got to eat on our way out the door were delicious. read more

I came here today for my birthday celebration and I'm so glad I did. Yes, Top Golf is expensive. Get over it. Actually, if you do it right it really isn't that bad. Good is expensive. If you're not into golf, maybe this isn't the place for you. I always see lots of newbies who seem to be enjoying themselves, though. I love it here. I also love driving ranges, so go figure. I've always experienced good service, decent drinks, and a great time hitting balls. It's not somewhere I can come all the time (although I wish I could!) I think of you have a group of 4 or more you are good to go, and you may be surprised that the price of entertainment isn't too high. read more

First time at Topgolf and I thought it was just an okay experience. I prefer going to a regular driving range. For starters, you need a membership card to just come and play which costs ~$6 to sign up. After you sign up you probably have to wait for a bay because this place is popular. For two bays we had to wait 30min. They have 3 levels so if you can go to the upper levels - they left us down in the lower level. Also, you each have to get a membership card if you want to keep track of individual sports. Although not too pricey it's still 10x more than the driving range. read more

I am stunned by my experience, terrible service and absolutely felt discriminated against. Two women together doesn't always mean gay! After playing for a while we went inside to eat food. Sat at a booth for 25 minutes and no one came over to serve us. Finally, I asked the bartender who promised to send someone over. 15 minutes later we were walking out with some lady offering to "make it up" to us with some ice water to go. We were already out the door. Water wasn't going to help anything but make us wait and be hungry even longer. This happened a while ago but hasn't left my mind. Topgolf - The Bar - New American Near Me - Austin, Texas

Overall, Topgolf is a fun activity to do with friends and family, whether you are good at golf or not. The only thing is that I wasn't super impressed with their management. Each bay can hold up to 6 players and we had a few more, so we had to get 2 bays. When you get 2 bays side by side, they tack on a $200 food and drink minimum. I get they want you to eat and drink while you are there too, but I didn't want to make my friends spend more money than they were wanting to. I called to make sure I wasn't missing an option that didn't require that, but I got routed to someone from a corporate office who didn't know the answer and she told me someone would call tomorrow. At that point, I didn't care that much, I was just curious. The next day, someone called me back and when I asked about the food and drink minimum, her response was "Well, have you ever been to Topgolf before?" Which was honestly pretty rude. When we got there, all of the best menu items were gone due to staff shortages. I emphasize with companies who are facing this problem right now, but thought it was super weird it was the most popular items that were not available - fried chicken, nachos, tacos, and more. We had the reservation for 2 hours. 15 minutes into the game, I ordered cheese fries. About an hour in, I reminded our waiter about the cheese fries since we had gotten everything else but that and he put the order in again. We didn't get the cheese fries until we had 10 minutes left on our game and at that point, it wasn't worth it. We didn't even get to finish them before we had to leave the bay. If anything, they should have just taken it off our ticket, but of course, they didn't. read more

First time ever at Topgolf and it was so much fun! We went on a Tuesday night around 8:30pm so it was half off of games! If you go from 3-6pm, it's also happy hour on food/drinks. We had a perfect wait time without making a reservation. We basically had time to chill while ordering a drink and then we had a spot! Unfortunately, we were pretty far to the right so that made it an added challenge to hit a lot of the targets, especially for left handed players. We played two of the games over an hour and a half and had a blast! I recommend coming here on a Tuesday and enjoying this super fun place at a reasonable price. read more

Seriously, top golf is absolutely amazing and I wish we had one in LA! The technology is incredible as it gives you all of your statistics of your ball including height, spin, and distance. There are a variety of games to choose from which can test your accuracy or overall competitiveness. This makes this place great for serious golfers as well as a fun night. The service is attentive and there's plenty of staff. Pro tip- you can always bring your own clubs. My biggest gripe is that the lifetime membership fee is $5 but they can never find me in the system so I've probably done it at least 4 times. (Note that these are all different locations and probably a year in between so I'm sure the systems have been upgraded but still...) I'm not sure why people have been complaining about the food. The food is going to be your typical barfood but it is well done here. My favorite was the pretzel platter with sausage, cheese, prosciutto, delicious candies walnuts, etc. The wings were nice as well and you can ask for them unbreaded and the sauce on the side. read more

The times that I came here, my boyfriend was someone who played golf regularly and I didn't, but we both really enjoyed our time here. I'm pretty sure the scoring was extremely screwed up. Playing the standard game, a bullseye in the farther brown/red target got me 5 points twice in a row. And then an errant roll into the outer edge of the yellow target was 8 points..... Also tried to play the tracer games like the course simulators and angry birds but they wouldn't work and the waiter had no idea how it worked and said she had never even played top golf. One of the tv's in our booth was broken which was annoying trying to see the score. Normally top golf is extremely fun and competitive with friends but this location could use some love.
