Another fun time at Top Golf in Austin. We always enjoy going. Our server Holly S. was always on the spot, friendly and attentive. We had a group of of twelve in two bays. She kept the water glasses full and was always around when we needed anything. The temperature was over 100 when we were there. Definitely recommend Top Golf for a good time and food and drinks. read more

First off, I am not a golf person. I never play it, don't watch it and don't really like it. But, I want to play now, all the time, and only at top golf! This place was awesome. I came here the first time on 5/10/14 with a group of friends and we had so much fun. I suggest coming before 12pm on the weekends. There was no waiting for a bay and it is only $20/hr from open till noon and then $40/hr after. You have to pay a $5 membership fee and it is only a one time fee. There are bars on every level and each level is based on a theme. The man who checked us in said that the bottom level is more for your serious golfer (more ground level), the second floor is more relaxed (wanna play seriously, but also wanna have fun), and the top level is "I wanna party, drink and play golf." Obviously we chose the top level. Which I think is the best level regardless bc of the view and roof top terrace. We didn't eat anything here, so I can't review on the food. I did have the Bellini and it was awesome. I also had a mimosa. It was just like any other mimosa. I prefer the Bellini. My favorite drink here was the strawberry mint sangria. OMG!!!! It was so freakin' good. We got a pitcher and shared it. I've never had a more delicious drink. I would go back here just for that drink. A must try. Now on to the golfing. Definitely go with a group. There are only 6ppl allowed to a bay. It reminds me of bowling. Clubs are provided, multiple for men and women. If you need "lefty" clubs you need to ask. If you're playing with friends and splitting the cost, you need to load your membership card with money and you pay at the bay and that is the only way to split the amount. You couldn't split it using a cc, don't ask me why, that is what we were told. You don't need to be a golfer to come here. None of us were and we barely could hit the balls. We went to fun, drinks and to hang out. I definitely will be going back! read more

Top Golf is always a fun time! It's good to bring a group of friends and splitting prices is pretty easy. There are 3 different levels to hit golf balls from. You don't even have to bring your own clubs, they have men and women's clubs you can use. Variety of different type of games so even experienced golfers can enjoy alongside the amateurs. Food is mediocre and kind of expensive. It works well after drinking from their large bar menu. It gets very warm on the patios. No AC or misters. Fans only but they just blow hot air around. read more

This was my first time at top golf. It's kind of similar to bowling, but the golf version! They have a full bar, dj, games, and a fire pit. The drinks were pricey, but good! The food looked amazing. Next time I will have to try the food. You can either bring your own clubs or use the ones they have and they have sets for men and women. I had a blast and it's a great place for groups!! read more

This is a fabulous place family and friends to enjoy a great afternoon or evening. You don't have to be a great golf for fun. There's couches chairs and tall barstool table that you can enjoy time together. There's also a section in this huge three-story very clean golf and entertainment. Each bay has 2 HDTV screens with espn on one television and The second screen has the score of your particular game. We have family visiting from Pennsylvania and our 2 families are having a blast together. In our group the age ranges from 14 to 55. We are surrounded on both sides by ages 20 and 30 something's and families. I also see a bay with 60 year olds and they are being treated just as nicely as everyone else. Everyone here is very pleasant, happy, the staff is wonderful, the food is very good, and the drinks quench our thirst. This is perfect for just two people and fabulous for groups. Today it is 100 degrees and outside under the shade there is still a nice breeze with fans blowing as well. We are comfortable. Inside has lots of seating and there are nice bars and restaurant seating. This is three huge floors of fun. This is a must see and must do. read more

The facility is great. Five stars. The service for a Monday after lunch was horrendous. 20 minutes for the first drink and the waiter had to come back and ask us what vodka we ordered 14 minutes after...really? When we finally got your drink we had a chipped glass, the manager stepped up and may it right. The waiter/bartender should have been empowered to do so without the manager. Not cool experience when you're trying to show off your top golf place to out of towners. read more

Finally decided to check it out. We waited 20 minutes in line on a Sunday night. Finally approached by Zach to let us know the scoring computers were broken and would be for the night, Wow. We went to our bay and waited 35 minutes for a server to get our order! We realized the computers were broken- well so is the service! We left feeling like they should change the name to DROP GOLF-because they dropped the ball on too many simple, yet important things. read more

Service has been better lately. Facilities are still nice. Decor is still clean. Good job on the upkeep.

Considering the cost I would rather go play a real round of golf than come here. However this place is a perfect place to swing some sticks while hanging out with your friends that don't really play golf. They provide the golf clubs and serve food and drinks right to your booth. The servers are always on point so you'll never be hungry or thirsty while here. $40 an hour per booth is pretty steep but if you have a group of people and split the cost it's not too bad. Before noon it's half the price which makes it a much better deal. We went on a Sunday morning at around 10 and there were large groups of screaming children everywhere. It was like the Chuck E Cheese of golfing but we still had a good time. Also the TV's at your booth show the NFL games on Sunday so overall not a bad deal. read more

Asked me to get up while i was eating because we were done playing and the bay need to be given to somebody else.

Amazing! Love this place! Definitely the thing to do in Austin!

Topgolf is a great place to go for any age. 3 levels of spacious golf bays and each floor has something to offer. The first floor has 2 pool tables, shuffleboard, and 2 TV screens with Xbox connect games. The second floor has a fully stocked bar and concierge. The third floor has life size beer pong, a dance floor, and a bar. Fun for the whole family! Prices are decent if you play with multiple people and the food is good! read more

I'm not an avid golfer but I do enjoying swinging clubs and drinking beer. Our server, Jennifer was amazing! Extremely friendly, courteous and even gave us a few great tips on our golf swings (again, we're not avid golfers). Overall, I like this place. Come early, play cheap...drink beer and get great service. read more

Took the kids here and they are addicted. Got a Bloody Mary and it was damn good. Got some donut hole things and some beer. Everyone had a good time, we ended up adding another hour to our slot. We were on the 3rd level and it was a bit nerve racking for us with little kids and all. Next time we will try to get 2nd or 1st floor. read more

Great military discount, fun, just a little too expensive still if you don't go with a party.

What an awesome experience! It was really busy when we walked in this Sunday afternoon but the manager Casey helped us get started no problem. Julie made some great suggestions from the menu and kept the pitchers full. Can't wait to come back! read more

A great experience as always, but an extra shout-out to our server, Lance. Seriously, some of the best service we have ever had. We have a large family, but he was there filling water glasses every second and attending to all of our needs, even on a busy day. We forgot our to-go box on the table and he ran out to the parking lot to make sure we got it! Thanks, Lance!! read more

This place is absolutely incredible! Outstanding customer service, wide selection of great food and drink, and an entertainment experience that is unparalleled in comparison with its competitors. All of their employees seem to love working here, which makes ALL the difference. Ask your bay host for a celeb shot next time you visit ;) read more

This place is pretty awesome. Service is good. This facility is really impressive. Had some troubles with our bay, but a guy came up, fixed it and gave us extra minutes to make up for the wait. All in all, I would highly recommend it to any golfer. read more

Great idea. Lots of fun once you get to the golfing, but that did take some time. We had incredibly slow food and drink service. When the food arrived most of it was cold, but we endured because the wait had been so long. When a complaint about cold fries was expressed to the waitress, she proceeded to take the next tables order and the replacement fries didn't show up until 20 minutes later when we no longer wanted them and were ready to go. On top of it all, we never got our alert that our bay was ready. The golf was fun, but spend the wait eating somewhere else. read more

Decent driving range with the mix of bowling style food and booths

My friends mentioned visiting "Top Golf"...My response "I hate Golf, I don't Golf, & I dont wanna go". Somehow/Someway they dragged me here anyway and...Im so glad they did. I had no idea this place would be so cool! We arrived around 11:30 pm on a Sat night. Landed a prime parking spot right at the entrance. We had appetizers downstairs while watching football highlights and grooving to the music. After we were full we ventured upstairs and watched a few people hitting balls for a bit. Then we went to the rooftop/outdoor bar. It was very cold outside but they had the heaters placed around the area and a firepit in the center. A DJ is setup in one corner and a bar along one wall. I really enjoyed pulling a chair up next to the firepit, sitting around talking to other people gathered around the firepit, while listening to music and looking up at the stars. I visited with friends but can't wait to go back with a date. I hear the "paying to golf" is pretty expensive but cheaper if you have a large group. I plan to try that one day as well. read more

Great time today! I empathize with Rita L.'s reviews regarding music. Fortunately on a Sunday afternoon we did not have the country music experience. If you have been to a driving range before, you have the skill to have fun here! I could appreciate better food but we had a great time, regardless! read more

I am a big fan of this place. It is essential a bowling alley that meets a sports bar that meets a driving range. You don't have to be a golfer to play or have fun. You just need some hand eye coordination. You compete against other "golfers" in your bay. There are different game modes to make it competitive or fun. You can always just swing for the back fence. If all else fails, you can responsibily drink a bunch of alcohol. The food is pretty decent for a bar. There are lots of TVs to watch sporting events. There are specials all the time. The hitting bays are cheaper at certain hours. Be prepared to wait during peak hours. There are fans and covered shading so it doesn't get too hot in the summer. You can always hang out in the AC. The staff is very helpful. Meet up with some friends because it is a good time. read more

Top Golf is an awesome way to spend an afternoon hitting golf balls, jamming out to live music, and enjoying delicious food and drinks! I have booked several events at the Austin location. Lesley has helped me both events and I was extremely impressed. They seemed to go above and beyond answering my billion questions about what was included and pricing. My group and I were more than pleased and I've gone back several times since. What a fun time! read more

This setup is definitely a modern vibe. My husband came here for a bachelor party gig and had a blast. I've been for individual outings and group birthday parties. The lower level has games, TV, and even a gaming system. The 3rd floor is probably the easiest level to play as you get more height and the golf balls go farther. The food is tasty. I always enjoy the stuffed donuts. The best drink is their sangria. The best I've had since Spain. The staff are usually very professional and fun. The whole experience can be pricy, about $80 for a couple rounds of golf for a group, and the food prices are about $10/plate. The waits can be up to 2 hours or more, too. It's fun when they do a light show on the course that is synced to music In all, we enjoy going and the relaxed or party atmosphere. read more

WOW I have been missing out on this gem. Very fun evening out with friends and you do not need to know much about golf or bring your clubs.

Been here a few times love it to play u pay per hour and not per person so I recommendations a bunch of people and splitting the cost. Nice for grown up time but ok for some family fun the kannect, pool tables, and shuffle bords are FREE so if u haft to wait it's not that bad. A bar on every floor but away from the areas u play the food is great but pricey and everyone is very nice read more

This place is so super cool! Absolutely loved this place. We need one of these in San Diego! Great food, music, drinks and off course it's always fun to compete with some golf! read more

Fun but the wait can be quite long so be prepared to spend some money and a few hours there

Food was great, though fried it wasn't greasy. It's always clean and they have great customer service. The game play is super fun and their players card makes play easier. Equipment is well maintained. There can be long lines, but it's Austin. read more

Really enjoyed our time here! Took my girlfriend and her family out for her birthday and absolutely loved it. Food was good, loved the atmosphere, and awesome staff! Can't wait till our next time out. read more

While the tendies at first did not appear to be crispy, I was pleasantly surprised to see the tendies exceeded my expectations. The tendies were very juicy, and the honey mustard complimented the tendies in a wonderful way. Pro tip: try the tendies with the queso. read more

When we arrived we were told there would be a 20 minute wait for first available. After 20 minutes we were told we were 4th in line. Okay, we will wait. 15 minutes later we received a text that our bay was almost ready and to close our tab. 30 minutes later we received a text our bay would be ready in 5 minutes. Horrible, horrible customer service. I don't mind waiting if I'm given an honest time, don't lie and be deceiving. You managed to waste our afternoon. read more

Chandler rocks! Best server ever! She needs to work more Friday nights and Saturday nights! Thanks!

This will be a repeat spot for us for sure! We visited for the first time this weekend when my boyfriend & I had friends in town & wanted to show them a good time. We might have picked the wrong time (9:30 pm on a Saturday night) so we had a 2+ hour wait for a bay, but they had plenty of spaces for us to hang out, play some pool, shuffleboard, and/or playstation. We also were able to grab a table & grab some food & drinks which was awesome since our wait was so long. Our first drinks (Don Julio margs) were extremely strong, which was my only real complaint. I am not one to complain about how strong my drink is, but this one was barely drinkable. There was an incident with a "drunk" woman trying to run off with our credit card, but our server, security, and management all handled it quickly & professionally! Thank goodness! We will for sure be returning! We loved it! :) read more

What a fun experience. I'm not even a huge golfer but the great food and drinks , along with the other entertainment options definitly make this a great destination for any group. read more

I'm a golfer, so this review is based on my love of golf. I had a couple of hours to kill during the day so thought I'd stop in to hit some balls. Great for the business traveler who wants to work on his game but doesn't have his clubs. Where else can you do that? The clubs were decent, I was able to work the balls left and right, and the scoring games helped keep me focused on each shot, which is hard to do when I usually go to the range. There are only 7 clubs to choose from, but in a way that's good because it forces you to be creative with your shot-making. The wings were excellent, the beer was cold, and my server was friendly and attentive. Cost was $20 an hour since it was during the day. Very reasonable. Look forward to them opening a location in Denver. read more

1st time at top golf. I had a blast because was in good company in a nice fun environment. The food and drinks were tasty enough. I had the spinach quesadillas, a house salad, frozen margaritas, and tasted an Asian wing my friend ordered. I give 3 stars only because of our waiter and one of the runners were very rude. I will be back but if we run into those two again I will ask for a different server. I also will have no problem pointing them out to the manager next time. No one wants to feel like we are doing a disservice to a waiter when we ask for, well, service. We are pleasant patrons we tip 20% what else can we do to "make your job easier" :/ Everyone else who worked there was very helpful and pleasant. Too bad we had to deal with the 2 undesirable people the majority of the time. Oh and don't worry if you have no idea what you are doing there are a range of skill sets teeing off there. It's fun to watch the pros and it's comforting seeing others missing swing after swing..... Like I do. Oh and if you are a lefty like me they have special clubs downstairs for you. I should try that next time. I would probably actually hit the ball more It's fun! I will be back. read more
