Very fun for a group of friends. Prices for golfing aren't bad, but food and drink are a bit over priced for what they are. I've had neither spectacular or terrible service; typically is somewhere in between. I only go on weekdays because weekend waits can be as long as 3-4 hours. LOVE the light shows. read more

Topgolf - I didn't think i would like TopGolf but i love it. Its a little pricey and the service is pretty terrible but i still love it. - New American Near Me - Austin, Texas

So much fun. My only complaint about Top Golf is the music sucks. The lame dance music is a total bummer. The food is top notch. The booze is affordable. read more

Amazing concept, fantastic fun coupled with tasty beverages & food is how I would describe our recent adventure at Top Golf Austin. We had two side by side bays for 3 hours with 12 people and it was perfect! The staff made sure we had everything we needed, including restocking our buffet (they did a fantastic job on the buffet & everything tasted great (especially the wings--all 3 flavors). The most fun was trying to hit the ball & score points! For easy group sports competition, this beat the heck out of bowling! I only gave it 4 stars because it is a bit pricey. read more

I think this place is a pretty awesome concept. I'm not a huge golfer but I still find it fun to swing a few while enjoying some tasty food and drinks. I love the set up of each station which allows you to socialize well and you don't have to be playing in order to spend some quality time with friends or family. The only downside is that it is a little on the expensive side but I think you are getting what you paid for in this case. There are special weekday happy hour prices which can help save some money too. I think it's especially good as something to do when company comes in town or there's a special event to celebrate. read more

Staff here are nice and only come up to you at the beginning not to be pushy. They're also a lot of them walking around so no fear of not catching one of them. It was a little boring if you're not into golf but to be honest $20 an hour is pretty cheap and its a long time if it's only 2-3 people! That's like a good 200 swings and we're all beginners starring at the ball after we hit it. 4 stars cus no other entertainment other than golf. read more

Excellent outing venue (alcohol, food, golf), for work or non-work, golfers or non-golfers. Pleasant staff. Only weird thing--a place this huge and the men's restroom has ONE sink. read more

Used to love coming here. But recently they've been extremely pushy. The machines ask you if you'll be extending your time. Then your waiter does. Then a manager does. If we have 15 minutes left on our timer, and there are twenty open bays, RELAX. I didn't extend my time based solely on the Used car salesman tactics. We went to punch bowl down the road, instead. read more

The customer service was incredible. We came at a down time, but everyone was friendly, helpful and overall awesome! Everything was impeccably clean. It was our first time doing Topgolf so our server was patient with us and explained everything very well. We had a blast and I would definitely come back again! read more

Very fun place! The golf is a blast and great place to compete with friends, the food is tasty (nothing super special but good), and fun drinks. The staff is kind and attentive to us always, and our game was a blast! We enjoy coming here and plan to return many more times! read more

It should be readily apparent by now that nature is going to do what it will and there is nothing we can do to change the outcome. Otherwise, why has it been 9 months and only gotten worse in spite of a bunch of stupid measures that make no sense to begin with and destroy the economy in the process? What really pisses me off is the nonsensical hypocrisy. Why are you contagious when walking through the restaurant but suddenly turn not contagious when you sit down at a table? Obviously standing or sitting makes no difference. Top Golf made me mad because we had 7 people in our party but the limit per bay was 6. We pointed out the bay next to us had 10 people. The response was that they had purchased 2 bays so technically it was 5 per bay even though they were rolling 10 deep in the same bay. The solution they offered was to have us purchase another bay. Oh, I see - so we give you more money and suddenly it's not a health risk anymore. Such BS. Also the equipment wasn't working properly and the troubleshooting ate up a bunch of our time. Do better, Top Golf. Don't demand a bribe and call it mitigating health risks. read more

Fun place for all ages to play golf. It's more of a hangout atmosphere then anything else. The only thing I would say is get here early as you will more then likely wait 45 mins before getting a bay. Highly recommend. read more

After exploring many options for things to do, I booked this venue to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We had a blast. We invited 12 of our favorite people for 3 hours of putting fun. When you book and event, be prepared to shell out the $$. This was EXPENSIVE. We had 2 bays on the floor level. I did an appetizer hour and it was spendy. I had my guests be responsible for their drinks. The food was typical bar food. The options we went for were, Chips & Queso, Wings, Crab Cakes, and Quesadilla. Everything but the crab cakes were eaten. So, I am gonna guess those were not the greatest. Our server, Erik was attentive; Curtis, our event coordinator for the night was very personable. Hubs and I decided we would like to come and try it again on our own. We did have a good time. It is just down right expensive for a party. But, since it was his 40th I wanted to do something he would remember, and we got that. 4 stars! Great fun, attentive staff, EXPENSIVE, but yes, we would go again! read more

I'm not a golfer at all... In fact this was my first time hitting a golf ball outside of putt-putt! At first I was really bad at it.. But by the end, I could hit it a little better! The wait to get a bay can be long, but they said 1 1/2 hours and it only took about 45 min. So don't give up on it because of the wait time they give you! So much fun, I'll be returning!! read more

thought you were overpriced, but I like you so much more now that the crazy gun obsessed yelper with the gun toting/German Shepard loving profile pic pointed out that you don't allow concealed weapons. I will gladly pay an arm and a leg to come hang out here since I know I won't have to worry about losing an actual arm or leg to some drunk firearm-carrying extremist. See you tonight topgolf, and thanks for implementing sane and reasonable polices that keep your customers and staff safe. read more

We've been coming to this TopGolf for a while now and it really is a bunch of fun. Overall, the atmosphere is great, the food is pretty yummy and the service isn't bad considering how busy/packed this place gets. I've never had to wait too long for a beverage or drinks and I've been at varying times including busy Friday/Saturday nights and during the day for a few corporate events. This past Saturday evening we waited almost 2 hours for a bay. It is such a popular and fun place that it is completely understandable that the wait can be so long. My only issue, however, is that they don't allow you to call ahead or that they don't manage the wait a different way. I think they should come up with a way for people to join the list without having to wait as long...maybe an application where you can join the list from your phone and then maybe show up when your wait is less than 30 minutes? Overall though, I love TopGolf and will definitely be going back just hopefully not on a Saturday night LOL read more

Had a good time hitting some balls and a few drinks. Good selection of beers. My golf game is horrible!!

This was definitely a fun experience. I suggest coming with a group as this will be more cost effective. The games are pretty fun and food was good. The only thing in this Texas weather it's pretty hard to enjoy when it's really hot out. So I recommend going on a cool day or night time. One day here actually improved my game b/c I was just working on mechanics and accuracy. Will definitely go back soon. Go and enjoy some relaxed golf. read more

Top Golf is fun. Everybody knows that! But five stars go out to the team tonight for turning a bad situation around. We were on the waitlist and told it was 30 min wait. Well, after waiting, we questioned our place on the list & were told that our name accidentally was dropped from the list. The manager moved us to the VIP area, comped our golf time & gave us $20 in gift cards for our next visit. Mistakes happen but their customer service is intentionally impeccable! Nice job! read more

An absolute blast! Great service and food. And the golf games are fun! Grab a group and head up there. They have bars, TVs, and games to keep you busy if you have to wait a bit for a bay to open up. The setup is great and the only way to go is with a group of about 4-6. While they have drinks you might pass on their food. Don't. It's great and I get the rosemary sweet potato fries every single time. But the food is really good. The only thing is that range is pretty short so if you actually can hit a golf ball you can't impress a date by smashing the ball as far as you can because it won't go that far. read more

Pretty much the most fun I've had in a long time. Super friendly staff, food was pretty great. Only bad thing is the wait to get a bay. Luckily there's pretty good music and very cold beer. We arrived at Top Golf around 10 am to begin our anniversary celebration day. We got all signed up and wanted to eat brunch before playing. We checked at concierge first to ensure that after we ate in the bar area that we would have a bay. The guy said there was no wait so when we got our check we should come back to get ready to go. I did just that and low and behold there is an over half hour wait. There should be a better system to check in or reserve a bay. We have finished our meal and are just sitting waiting. Now the rest of our plans for the day are off. I will try to remember to update this post once we actually are able to play. Hope it's worth the wait. The food is really good though. Once we were able to play golf it was lots of fun. Sucks that it's so expensive, though. read more

I've never swung a club in my life but this place was a blast!!! The corona margarita is refreshing and with that said, it is air conditioned well enough for an indoor/outdoor spot but I would recommend going on a day where the weather is suitable to your taste. read more

I've been here several times.. I have never had a bad experience overall. I will say the food is mediocre at best and overpriced, and if you come during peak hours you will wait.. And wait... This place made me not hate golf a little. Recommendations: * Come here with someone who knows golf so they can give you some idea of how to swing the bloody thing. * Make reservations ahead of time or just arrive early. Pros * The music and service were all surprisingly good * I really enjoyed hitting some ball and having a tracker system determine where they went Cons * Very crowded, a little too much shtick - TVs, this weird faux-"premium" vibe, which is expensive and (to me) pointless Other notes: * Kids - I wouldn't bring young children here as there's not a terribly good system for preventing someone from swinging their club into someone. Also upper decks aren't kid-safe. * The place is weirdly pretentious but I'm not sure the owners can do anything about that so it's not in the cons list. * Food - didn't exactly experience the menu; we only had chips, salsa, and guacamole and that was good * Summer - I don't know how they handle hot temperatures read more

I just had great experiences at Top Golf and summer is great to stop by and have some good time, no complaints. but... In an attempt to order a Mexican Martini the Bartender is really nice nothing personal, just he doesn't know how to make a Mexican Martini Dirty. It is fine. Well, he risked and if you think Tequila, ice and triple sec and olives juice is a dirty Mexican martini you are completely way wrong. The dude didn't know that Mexican martini goes lemon juice or even orange juice. ***Measure tequila, soda, orange liqueur, lime juice, orange juice, and olive juice into a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into salt-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a skewer of olives. Easy and customers would love. So take this review as more a suggestion so people don't have to drink a strong tequila e triple sec from a glass. That doesn't sound a completely drink done. Just saying it. Certainly, I am not a fan of bad drinks and no one is. It cost money and we deserve a good drink as customers. read more
