Hours for lap swim posted on their website are usually not correct as pool is not open when hours posted say it is. Was told by front desk people their website is not accurate and I should only use their new 'app' to check hours. So I loaded app and have used that to check pool lap swim hours. Tried to swim on weekday last week. Checked app 2 hours prior and said lap swim open 1:00-5:00 pm. Arrived at 2:10, changed and got to pool deck at 2:15 only to be told "We are closing for 30 minutes from 2:30 to 3:00 today." Today, a Sunday, at 9:00 a.m. app says pool open for lap swim from 10:00-1:00 pm. Arrived at 11:00 only to find out pool is closed due to swim team practice. they are "very sorry" for my inconvenience. This has happened 4 or 5 times in past month. Frustrating to plan my day/week, drive to the YMCA, and show up only to find out pool is not available. Seems like this is happening more and more often in past 5-6 weeks. If only we could know when pool will be available for lap swim. Seems like this should not be that hard to do. Put someone in charge of schedule and posting updates. And, once hours posted, stick to that schedule.

We keep at least one lane open for lap swimming throughout the day, plus we offer swimming lessons, aqua exercise and swim team.

Nothing like serious cold. They also had a pool which seemed like only a bunch of old people use. The training area with turf was really nice but if that stop light is red (I posted a picture) that means the trainer is there with a client and you're not allowed. If it's orange you are allowed but to be careful and green it's a free for all. Not many people use it but it has bunch of cool equipment to use there too. The gym had everything and I was only able to find one thing broken which is rare at a gym this big. They also have one of those dryers for your bathing suits in the mens locker room if you do bring a bathing suit for sauna or pool. It's a bring your own towel like most gyms but for such a high gym membership I thought they may include that but nothing I could really complain about this gym except pricing.

So make sure you call ahead to make sure someone is in and leave a message if going outside peak times. We ended up going for a walk along the lake while we waited to see if they were going to be open. Prices seemed high but I'm not sure the going rate for these sorts of items though and everything is priced 'high' these days :) It was a great day to get out on the water. I appreciate this because it's annoying to have to parent other people's older kids around safety if they are being too rowdy around the little ones. They're all still just kids, though! The only improvement they could make is adding a slide or 2, but maybe that is in the future! Who knows! The most important thing to me is the intention and advocacy I have seen in management. "Mom this is the best pool I have ever been to, My expectations were shattered and I had the most gratifying experience I have ever had at an aquatic center" On a more personal note, I can attribute the saving of my marriage to the incredible staff at the pool, the way they were watching my child while he swam rekindled my love for my family as I saw the love the guards had for the other patrons. My child had had always been troubled and I admit that I did do a great job of disciplining him, however the swift responses by the guards when my sweet boy stepped out of line were magnificent and forever changed his attitude towards authority. The only complaint I can ever possibly think of would be the concessions stand lack of soft serve ice-cream and the indoor pools lack of a hot tub, however the pool's temperature is always at an acceptable temperature so that doesn't seem to be an issue. Although the pool does not have a hot tub, the other amenities more than make up for it. The slides had my children in utter elation after their first ride. We had just finished planning out trip to Disney World, but after our trip to the pool our children insisted that they had already been to the happiest place on earth. We immediately cancelled our plane ride and plan on coming back daily. The diving boards were like no other we had ever experienced, and the ropes felt like an excursion through a tropical rainforest. Finally, the bucket. Let me tell you about the bucket. There we were, waiting as the bucket filled with water. As it started to tip, I could feel the fear, joy and excitement coming from my kids' minds. After the many gallons of water rushed over our heads, I actually had become younger. I am convinced the water at this pool comes from the fountain of youth. Another lifechanging experience I had at the pool was when my mother passed out in the parking lot, a lifeguard sprinted over, backflipped over the fence, and immediately, with just their presence, resituated her, and healed her broken hip, she also appeared much younger. The incredible management at the pool is easily seen with their swift response to any and all complaints, even those coming from the Facebook group "North Liberty Moms" Which if I am being honest, paints the picture of the pool and their staff in an unaccreted and unfriendly light. The PH level of the pool is so incredible, I thought I was swimming in filtered drinking water, the water felt refreshing on my skin and took away all my wrinkles. Strangely enough the scar I had had since a child miraculously healed with just two minutes in the water due to the pools incredible healing properties, and the incredible watchful eyes of the lifeguards. I could write a book about all the incredible experience I have had at the pool. however, my kids are already begging to go back so I must leave now to take them, even though it will be a long three-hour drive.

When you have some many adversary white families that don't get monitored when " their children bully and antagonistic to the minority / ethnic children" it only a time when a parent will chastise that child when it's the Rec Mgr. / and attending Lifeguards on duty responsibilities to keep water safety . They doing a great job but they turn away their face to the obvious tension and don't follow through to either monitor that said " children are with a guardian!" And prevent the bullying of children in the pool. We are a sensitive community with diverse communities and we cherish our neighbors and desire our children to continue to play together in harmony.

I brought my mom to the second "All Levels" class that I attended. I practice yoga regularly, and she practices once or twice a year when I drag her to a class, but we both enjoyed the all levels class and got what we wanted out of it. The instructor was able to help my mom modify poses and movement for her bad knee, and also gave me good alignment adjustments. They also have a great selection of mats, blocks, straps, and bolsters for students to borrow during class free of charge.

I try to let them know about the situation and they said that I made an obligation and therefore I am fully obligated to the full year no matter my situation they are not sensitive to your needs. My son continued his membership, but they completely lied to him about being able to exit with no additional fees and backpedaled on their conversation. They're out for the money. Do not trust this establishment.

They have helped me get into proper position and never make me feel like I'm too slow for the other more advanced people in the group. Everyone goes at their own pace but we stay together in movements for the most part. It is $12 for a drop-in session (which you would need to call ahead and make sure there is room), and $10 when you sign up for their 8 week sessions of 1 hour 15 minutes each class. I checked with some other yoga places in town and this is a good deal! The studio is intimate and cozy; I can definitely see myself coming here regularly for years.
