Kids playing on the fitness equipment
    Katie S.

The facility itself is decent, no real complaints there. However, parking is usually a nightmare. Finding parking during peak hours (after work) is a struggle. I've had to park a couple blocks away before, and that's a concern being a young female after dark in that area of town - not worth it I think I've encountered ONE friendly staff member. When you walk in, you have an employee scan your card - well, most of them avoid eye contact with you as much as possible so you'll go to someone else, they aren't welcoming or friendly. When I ask what room a class is in, they treat me like I'm an idiot for asking. I know there is a daycare available, but I'd be curious to know if anyone actually uses it. Kids (young kids - under age 10) are running around, hanging out on the track, playing on the equipment, etc. This is a safety issue for them and a huge inconvenience when you're trying to use the track or equipment. A lot of young teens (I'd guess ages 13-16) are there to socialize. This is clear because they are not in gym clothes, they are hanging out on the VERY limited number of mats available (I think there are only 3 of them upstairs), etc. And I don't mean they're using said mats to exercise - they are hanging out with their friends, playing on their phones. GO HOME and do that. If you bring this to a staff member's attention, they do not want to deal with it and brush it off. Least helpful staff I've encountered in a long time. Considering your membership can be income based, it appears (yep, I'm being stereotypical but some things you can just tell) the majority of customers are paying very little - you would think they'd want to get some more paying members in there, but apparently not.

Activities are plentiful, but the front desk staff act like they hate their job. Rude and short with guests.

After talking with Albert & David about their philosophy and about the body, I realized they actually DO know about kinesiology and I decided to try a month. It's been 9 months now and I love coming here. My flexibly is better after old sports injuries, I am stronger, and injury free. I send my clients with chronic pain here to complete their wellness and at home care for strength, as part of their rehabilitation. They are professional, knowledgeable, have integrity, and I can trust them with my clients. I have also gained confidence, dropped 20 lbs, two dress sizes, and my legs look fantastic! I have a lot more to go and I wouldn't want to work on my goals anywhere else than with Albert & David at CR Elite.

The bars spin very well and their platforms are well-built. They let me play my own music, they have towels, a water fountain, jerk blocks and a great atmosphere... I really could not have asked for more while on a business trip. Any weightlifter in the area should check out this facility either to train or learn.

As previous review says, 24/7 access. Been to many gyms in the nation, and by far Anvil has the best strongman and powerlifting equipment to any gym Ive been to. Also caters to general fitness as well. For anyone looking for trainers, there are strongman, powerlifting, bodybuilding and atheltic/sports trainers available. Recent additions to the gym include a infared sauna and a smith machine. Day passes are available, and a quick tour is available per request for anyone looking to check it out.
