Super good service from Sandra, she kept asking us if we wanted to order more, I didn't feel pressured to leave or order less at all which was nice. The ayce here is super worth it they give you so much food and I definitely recommend getting the unlimited duck wraps with the sauce on the side! The angus beef marbling was actually a lot better than I was expecting for a an ayce place. The beef tendon and tripe was super soft and yummy. The beef and lamb skewers are also really tender and not dry at all. The side bar was also pretty good. Overall a great experience 11/10, would definitely come back multiple times if it wasn't so far from me.

Top Pot is located in the Pacific Pearl, an Asian shopping center across the street from the San Francisco Premium Outlets. They are affiliated with Fiery Shanghai located in the same shopping center. My brother and I came here for dinner with a couple friends on 12/20/2025. It was pretty quiet when we walked in just after 5pm. The staff greeted us, and we were immediately seated. The interior was clean, but the floor was a bit slippery. Near the cash register counter were the cold/hot food and dessert stations and sauce bar. The AYCE dinner was $35.99 per person on weekends ($29.99 on weekdays), which included one broth of your choice, all the hot pot ingredients, plus all the other stuff mentioned in the previous paragraph. Ordering was done by marking what you want on a laminated menu. We started with a round of roast duck wraps, spicy beef and lamb skewers, honey walnut prawns, and other cold appetizers. Everything was delicious, and we eventually got a couple more rounds of the same order. We decided to go with the pork bone soup base since we all wanted something mild. The food menu featured a wide array of standard hot pot ingredients plus different organ meats. We were very pleased with the quality of the meats and vegetables. Out of everything we tried, I especially loved the Angus beef (not fatty), garlic beef (great garlicky flavor), tripe (fresh and crunchy), and tendon (large chucks were stewed prior which gave it a great taste). Portions were huge so beware of over ordering. I didn't see any mention of dining time limit. Service was excellent. The staff were friendly and they checked on us frequently throughout our meal to refill water, clear dirty plates, and take additional orders. With tax and tip (already included in the bill), the total was about $188 ($47 per person). We all thought it was well worth it. Fantastic hot pot option in the Tri-Valley area. You will definitely get your money's worth here. 5 stars.

Great classic Chinese hot pot. Almost everything was included in AYCE, including the skewers and Peking duck which were great. All the hot pot ingredients were pretty good, and only thing I noticed was the sesame paste was quite thick, sometimes being hard to dip food in. Towards the end though the soup base got really salty even though we added more water to it, so I'm not sure why that is. Server was very friendly and chill, without strict rules about the AYCE. The restaurant is nice, clean, with fun decor.

The food is fantastic! Definitely suggest the duck pancake and lamb skewer. Vegetable are clean and freshly cut. We went on a quieter evening, and the service is very quick and friendly. I suggest the mild bone broth, and to make your own sauces. They also have a traditionally asian desert and snack bar filled with salty sour seaweed and sweet fragrant fungus deserts and jasmine jelly. There are forks for people who cannot use chopsticks. It's a pretty good price for thirty dollars a person.

Have not been here in a while. Lamb skewers and duck wraps were still very good. Lots of selection of sauces, appetizers and desserts. Loved the shrimps and noodles. Lots of selection of meat: garlic beef tasted good. Service was quick and accurate. Ambiance was casual yet comfortable. Great seating space, Will come again. Parking was spacious.

Met a friend here for dinner. Lots of parking in the plaza. We just made it before it started to get busy. We were seated right away. The orders came out quickly. They have a good choice of proteins and veggies. Their broth was pretty tasty. The service was okay. Probably cause it started to get busy. It's probably not my top three but it was somewhere different to enjoy some AYCE hot pot.

ACYE hotpot located within minutes from the SF Premium Outlets. They'll give you a menu and you can mark off all the food you want. Food came out fairly quickly and the staff checked on us multiple times to see if we needed anything. I got the tomato soup base and found it a bit on the lighter side. The meat and veggies were all fresh. They also have a sauce and appetizer bar. In addition to the hotpot, their menu also included peking duck rolls and beef/lamb kebabs. Which I thought was pretty good. One thing to note: Tip is included in the bill already. They told us when they gave us the bill.

Eva S.

Top Pot offers an all-you-can-eat hot pot experience for $35.99 during dinner and on weekends, which includes access to a sauce bar and a variety of cooked dishes like Peking duck and skewers. The ingredient selection for hot pot is impressively extensive, and service was efficient. The only reason for docking one star is that the broth lacked depth compared to other hot pot spots, and the meat could've been more tender. The ambiance was decent but not particularly standout.

Came on Friday afternoon, wasn't too busy. I remember coming here years ago and it was meh. Glad I came to give it another try! The hotpot meat quality and selection was okay and standard. Not quite the highest quality or event felt like the freshest meat. Really frozen for sure. BUT what I'm amazed by is the other things that they had to offer. The beef and lamb skewers were surprisngly really good! They're on par with other skewer places in the bay. Definitely loved that it was unlimited. There's also some cold dishes and some hot dishes near the sauce station. Grab your own chow mein, fried rice, and even walnut shrimp. What??? Quality was whatevers for those, but still the fact they offered that! Another great thing that's included with the price is the duck rolls. You get a peking duck wrapped which I for sure have not seen at any other AYCE hot pot spots. Staff was friendly. Our server was like, "I was worried you only ordered so little. Order more!!" LOL And what's a great plus that I noticed was that when they refilled out broth, they actually added more broth. Some other hotpot place just add hot water to fill it up. But not at Top Pot! I would 100% come back here again for the skewers and wontons! And great service!

Why is the price tag even three $ on Yelp? It's super affordable and GREAT value. You not only getting the hotpot with premium meat, but also peiking duck, lamb skewers (best in and around the Bay), and those walnut shrimp are the bomb too, all you can eat! Service is also great, zero complaints. I will go again for sure

For over a year I have had this place bookmarked. Menu looks appeasing and they have foods I…read moretypically would like. So why not a 5 starer? I came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. My first thought was, it is quiet! there was only 1 other table at noon... regardless, I continued. It took me a few minutes before anyone noticed us since there was no one at the front desk.. When I finally got the attention of someone, auntie seemed a little annoyed and short. But everyone has their bad days, so despite the lack of enthusiasum we continued our journery for lunch. We opted for the "ultimate" menu which was $38.99/person. But I love my Wagyu's so why not.. They have a large open buffet style section which you pick your veggies, seafood, and tofu from in addition to some random side dishes and sushi rolls. The buffet section was okay.. non-premium options and are typically known as the basic cheaper options at other hot pot places. They didnt even have beef meatballs! Soup/broth options seemed limited. While they had a few, I was thrown off to know they upcharge on everything including if you want a split broth. I mean, the pot itself is quite small already.. Are you really using that much more soup? But the broth was fine. It was flavorful and did its job. I got the tonkotsu and miso base. I did like that they let you order 5 orders of meat at a time. We ordered all the premiums of course. But sadly, they were not that great of quality in my opinion. Wagyu's were chewy and stringy.. For $40 a person, I expect the quality to be a little better especially if other areas are lacking. But they did have an extensive menu which was nice. Lastly, they have a ton of signs.... Most of it letting you know of additional charges or upcharges... Not the most inviting. Probably will not be returning which is a bummer.

Good thing is they have Yelp waitlist available so you can join on the app to kickstart the waiting time. Our table was ready by the time we pulled into the parking lot which was convenient. The layout is a little clunky in my opinion. It's all you can eat so besides the meat and other specialty items, the rest is grab it yourself from the counters. The seafood and noodle counter is right near the front door so patrons that are waiting to be seated are just staring at the food, and between them waiting for a table, people grabbing their food, and people leaving it can be a very tight spot to navigate. The inside is spacious and I do appreciate them having a folding "table" attached to the dining time for overflow items. We opted for a split pot and while I enjoyed my pork bone broth, the one my friend opted for was a tad too spicy and required it to be watered down a couple times. The staff is quick to help you out when they're not busy seating/serving customers. Finally tried out the cheesy hot pot today and thought it was solid! The cheese adds an interesting flavor and texture. Japanese miso is still my tried and true though. Their garlic soy sauce is so good--practically drinkable. Highly recommend using it as a dipping sauce for your meat & veggies. It must be everyone's favorite as well, because it's always low in the containers that rest on each table. The hotpots came quickly. Be forewarned about the Sichuan hotpot. There is no non-spicy or even mild spicy options. You start at medium spicy and go up from there. I had the medium spicy and that was plenty spicy for me. I had to ask for extra napkins as all the dried red chili peppers in the soup was causing my nose to run like a river! Everyone enjoyed their individualized hotpots and the portions were more than filling. I am deducting one star because the bathrooms detracted from my dining experience. The urinal in the men's restroom was out of order and the single toilet was filthy and the floors were wet. I wish the restaurant would devote more attention to keeping the restrooms clean for their customers.

My cousin discovered YGF and I was shocked realizing that it's like a 30-second drive from my office and couldn't believe I hadn't noticed it before. We took the short drive out to Dublin to get lunch here on a Sunday afternoon and while there was almost no one inside when we got in line to fill our bowls, by the time we paid and sat down the line had suddenly blown up and the place was booming. Compared to Master Gua, YGF has fewer vegetable options (no broccoli, for example), but I believe they have even more meats than Master Gua did. So it's a tradeoff, depending on what you're in the mood for. All of the ingredients were super fresh and there's a pretty wide assortment of things to choose from. As with other malatang places, you take your bowl of stuff up to the counter, weigh it, and they tell you the price based on the weight. Then you choose your broth from a few different options. YGF has even more than Master Gua did, but I still went with my old standard, the Sichuan spicy hot pot broth (which is described as being medium spicy here). You can add a bowl of steamed rice on the side for a couple bucks, which I did. The food came out pretty quickly and was fantastic. My husband, brother, and cousin all got one of the bone broths (I think they all went with the beef), which is their go-to. We were all incredibly happy with our meals. The meat was cooked tender and the vegetables weren't overdone. The staff were all super nice and kept coming around to refill water. When it came time to pay, they came to the table with a mobile POS rather than having us go up to the counter to pay. I think this is going to become our new malatang place, given the convenient location, great food, and friendly service.
