    Maple Frosted Old Fashioned

I heard they had fall flavored donuts and had to come try one! I got the maple frosted old fashioned and it was delicious. Great flavor but not too overly sweet. And it was perfectly moist. I would definitely recommend it! I came in with a friend around 12pm and there was no line. The lady working was very kind and the service was super quick.

    Glazed Raised Ring done right.

These are fantastic doughnuts. Not sure what the 3.6 rating is all about. They're big, fresh, not gooey but perfectly baked. I always start with the glazed to get a barometer of the basics and it was outstanding. Not gonna lie, it's up there with a Randy's (LA) glazed which is perfection.

When I learned I would be traveling to Seattle for work, I was excited to see that Top Pot was available on DoorDash. I always enjoy ordering something locally and sweet to share with my team, and this seemed like the perfect treat. I first tried this place about 15 years ago, and it was just as good as I remembered--truly a box full of deliciousness.

Delicious donuts and coffee would go back next time I visit Seattle! Cashiers were friendly and welcoming

My boyfriend and I visited but not sure we'd come back. The donuts and coffee weren't our favorite. The staff were really kind though. The only thing we kind of liked were the savory pies they had. Hopefully they work on flavors.

I took a bite of my chocolate covered cake donut and said, "oh my gah...." That's a damn good cake donut. I love a fresh cake donut, and they have plenty of options. It was tough to choose between lemon, original, powdered sugar, and the chocolate that I got... I'm happy with my selection. It went great with the drip coffee. Nothing about the drip coffee wowed me, but that's okay -- it's all about the donuts and carbs, y'all. I also grabbed a ginger shot for the road. Ya know, to be healthy.

I like Top Pot for the fritters and double chocolate, but I prefer yeast donuts and maple bars to the mostly cake donuts at Top Pot. The apple fritter is very good, however. I tried the "pot holes" and they were good, but not on the same level as the donut holes at Westernco.

    Raspberry Donut with Espresso

I wanted to try Top Pot Doughnuts while in Seattle and found their Renton location to be convenient. This facility is in the large and excellent The Landing shopping center with lots of great food and retail options. It is right off I-405 and close to Sea-Tac. Parking is abundant and free. The facility is modern and spacious with a high ceiling and lots of windows. There is a display case showing the doughnuts, but most of the supply is pulled off a cart behind the counter. I am not a big fan of locking restrooms these days, but I appreciate that this location still has them open to customers. Seating seems a little limited given the size of the space, but I bet most of their business is to go. I got a raspberry donut and a lemon old fashioned with an espresso. First was the raspberry which was large and generous, but not amazing. The old fashioned was eaten later, but it was far more delicious with great flavor and texture. Looking at the photos, I am guessing they do not fry the product on site and ship them to stores from a central kitchen. This would make raised donuts less attractive compared to cake which likely explains my experience. If you want gourmet cake donuts, Top Pot Doughnuts in Renton is great. It would be a great stop to grab a dozen before your flight. However given the presence of Boeing, Kenworth, and Sea-Tac in the area, there are probably amazing 24/7 traditional donut shops in the area that may be a better option.

Ordered DoorDash delivery before school for my daughter's 7th birthday. Doughnuts were HUGE! I had the old fashioned and it was very tasty. Kids were all happy.

I never went myself, but my coworker went and bought us some doughnuts, from just the taste, I could say the maple doughnut was SO GOOD. I would try more flavors. The pink doughnuts were okay. They are super fast as well, and from the outside it's so cute!

I'm not a huge sweets person, but when I heard about blueberry fritters I had to have one! A summer treat, they said. Kinda would imply that they use fresh, local picked blueberries, right? Last weekend was the day, I got up early and made my way down to The Landing to get a fresh fritter. Nice atmosphere in general and there was a great selection of doughnuts, including my coveted fritter. I also got a mocha with oat milk. Service was awesome all around, my mocha was quite good. The fritter? Meh!! I don't like to stick large food items in my mouth, I break them into pieces with my hands first, so I got a very, very good look inside the fritter. Lots of purple/blurple which is a great sign of blueberries, but I only actually saw one. It was 100% most definitely not fresh....why would someone wait for blueberry season and not use fresh blueberries!? The fritter itself was pretty good. I'd eat another one if someone offered me one free of charge, but this isn't something I'm going to seek out. Props to them though - I now have a craving for real blueberry baked goods and they've motived me to do a little something myself!

This Top Pot Doughnuts location is excellent. I ordered a 6-pack/half dozen of donuts and tea. The donuts were delicious, my personal favorites were the Apple Fritter, Bavarian cream and Salted Carmel Old Fashioned were amazing. The establishment is very clean and spacious, and the staff were very courteous and accommodating.

    Iced Latte

Clean and cute atmosphere with lots of seating! Friendly service. I got an iced latte and my aunt bought us a dozen of the Bavarian Crème filled donuts. It was DELICIOUS! I usually don't enjoy donuts with filling. I like plain donut holes, but I really enjoyed the chewy and soft dough with chocolate glaze. Inside was a vanilla crème that pulled everything together. Coffee + donuts are my favorite combo! Would recommend this place if you're in the area!

These are my favorite donuts. But my wife just paid over $30 for 12 assorted donuts. These prices are ridiculous. Never again.

Donuts are okay -- I don't like paying full price for day old donuts. When I DO get fresh donuts, they are good.

On a hot, sunny day around 2:50pm on Friday I decided to make the drive here after suddenly…read moreremembering one of my foodie friends had this place several times during other weekends. I actually had to park behind the building then look at other Yelp reviews to find out that there is parking on gravel near their dumpsters closest to LaShaun Daye Hair. Though I don't know if the parking lot where this building and E Marginal Way meet can also be used...street parking in this area was scarce, contrary to most Yelp reviews I've read. Anyway, I came to an empty but very chill interior with several tables and window seating, along with some semi-quiet VPop playing near the front counter to the right-hand side of the entrance. There's a small flower display along with the cafe logo a little to the back which is perfect to take photo ops with your drink and food like I did. The menu is above the front counter and - as their logo says - they specialize in banh mi and coffee, though they have some matcha and soup options among others. Staff at the front were very quick at making my coffee as I was the only one inside. I got their 16oz egg coffee, which is one of their best sellers according to the asterisk on their menu next to the name of the drink. Very strong phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee along with condensed milk and an egg foam that gave a sweet, creamy taste to the already bitter coffee at the bottom. Drinking the egg foam first, it's a nice, thick custard-like format that the coffee does not overtake, which is good since other places I've had don't have that kind of balance. My next trip back here will have to be for another one of their coffee drinks and their banh mi sandwiches as well. I can already hear my friend telling me to get one right now as I'm writing this up!

I've been wanting to try this place since I first heard of it…read more GETTING THERE: It seems tucked away in Tukwila, but it's actually extremely easy to get to and not to far off the exit from Hwy 599 coming from South Center. It's maybe about 2-3 min off the Interurban Ave exit. After a couple left turns, it's right on the corner of a 4-way stop. You can't miss it. PARKING: The place isn't very big but there is plenty of street parking available. There's also a small lot by the convenience store nearby. AMBIANCE: It's a very small place with Vietnamese decor and an aquarium. It was giving vibes of the sunroom at my aunt's house Vietnamese music playing in the background haha. There are limited seats if you choose to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have a couple tables on the side, or you can sit on the stools along the window. I think the place felt a little empty. It could use a couple more tables and chairs along the window instead of the stools. This layout kind of felt like a Baskin Robbins or a small local ice cream shop. SERVICE: I didn't see anyone at first when I walked in, but there was someone to ready to take my order by the time I got to the counter. She took my order then I took a seat at the table until she called me to grab me from my order. Not much else for service. FOOD: I mainly went here for the coffee, but I figured I should try the sandwich while I was there. I ordered the bánh mì đặc biệt (house special sandwich) and the cà phê trứng (egg coffee). The sandwich to me was alright at best. The flavors were unbalanced. I mostly tasted the chả over the other cuts and the meat was pretty cold. I get that it's called a "cold cut" for a reason, but it was really cold and kind of threw off the sandwich. The bread would've been better toasted, or at least have the option to toast it. The one thing I enjoyed was the amount of pate used. The coffee on the other hand was decent. I've been in search of more places that serve egg coffee and I usually get it every chance I get. I found it a bit weird that it comes iced. I usually get an option to choose if I want it hot or cold. It didn't specify on the menu and I was never asked. So I just assumed it was not iced because the only thing that was iced was the cà phê sữa đá. Well I was wrong... The egg part was super thick, fluffy, and creamy. It was the right amount of sweetness and saltiness too. Honestly it might be the best egg cream I've had on a coffee, but it would have been much better if the coffee was warm. I just think egg coffee should be served hot. It's a personal preference. The ice keeps the egg cream on top and I can't really mix the whole thing evenly. I would've enjoyed it more if every sip was a even mixture of egg cream and coffee. OVERALL: At the end of the day, I enjoyed this place. There are a couple small improvements that would've changed my experience. I did enjoy the coffee and that's what I originally came for. The sandwich honestly wasn't bad, but I think I would try the thịt nướng next time. Some places just do one or the other better. I think it's harder the get the cold cut sandwich right vs the grilled pork. Overall it's a nice little meet up spot and I would come back again just for the egg coffee.
