We used Top Notch for the first time and had a great experience. The kennels are clean and during our walk through we did not see one dirty kennel. The place is very professionally run and it shows. Our dogs came home after a week and had not lost or gained any weight. A lot to be said for that. Thank you for taking care of our dogs!

Our Cane Corso boarded at Top Notch kennels for 16 days. This place is a clean facility and my dog was in love with staff. Staff kept us updated while we were out of state, he had a daily report card, he was groomed before we picked him up, he had playtime and looked leaner when we picked him up. He was a happy boy and the staff genuinely showed the love and care for my dog. We trust the staff and this place so much that We will continue to come here. Thank you Top notch you lived up to your name

I took my 6ish year out large breed rescue to be evaluated for doggie day care @ Top Notch. My dog has major anxiety entering buildings and being separated from me. I fully expected for him to fail his evaluation and I was very nervous. Upon picking him up later that day, I was told that he showed signs of anxiety and uneasiness but that with time and continued visits, he should feel comfortable. He was on an ongoing evaluations. ( YAY! He didn't fail) Th staff is great, very patient and answered all my questions. They were great and patient with Charlee. He's been several times now and each time he gets more and more comfortable and seems to enjoy going to day care. Thanks Top Notch staff for being patient and caring with my fur baby

Top Notch Kennels took great care of my Belgian Sheepdog for the two weeks we were on vacation. Those of us in this breed are very particular when it comes to who we entrust with our dogs. Typically they don't do well in kennel situations. Lisa Moore and her staff played with Bacchus every day, and he was in excellent condition when I got him back. The staff made sure I vaccinated my dog with Canine influenza and Bordetella vaccine prior to bringing him in, and he was in perfect condition when I picked him up. Next time I'll plan further ahead and get some training time for him. I've read Lisa Moore's Blogs and really agree with her training philosophy and methods.

Happy dog after 3 nights staying at TopNotch

The staff here are all fantastic and the grooming crew make my two rambunctious Samoyeds look brand new and sparkling white again. :)

Daphne had a restful fun time on both occasions. Daphne is getting older and it's wonderful to have a place for my dog, Daphne, to stay when I'm on holiday. I know she's in great hands. Furthermore, Niki is an expert groomer! I adopted an insanely cool Chinchilla Persian cat, Puffcat, from Niki's Play n' Stay just after winter break. Chinchilla Persians are lovely! The breed requires very careful grooming every 4-8 weeks--including bathing, shaving, and drying with a special high velocity cat hairdryer. Therefore, I just had my Chinchilla Persian, Puffcat, over at Niki's for grooming and he came back looking picture perfect. After his grooming, he's sooooo puffy, smells amazing, and he has been expertly shaved & trimmed. Thank you Niki! Highly recommend!!

Her mobile setup is spotless, convenient, and completely stress-free for my kitties. Niki is amazing every single time. She's always on time, communicates clearly before and after each visit, and her pricing is incredibly reasonable for the excellent high quality and convenience she provides. One of my cats is... let's just say strong-willed. Her fur had gotten badly matted, and she wouldn't let anyone near her with a brush. I honestly didn't think she'd cooperate, but Niki worked her magic and somehow turned my spicy little fluff into her normal, gorgeous self. She's patient, gentle, and knows exactly how to handle cats with all different personalities. My girls always come back looking runway ready -- like they're about to strut down the catwalk. If you have cats or dogs and want someone who's talented, trustworthy, and genuinely cares, Niki is the one. A true trustworthy gem!

We waited 2.5 hours before being even assessed. But other than that I was happy with the visit. I read all the reviews and was worried about the level of care due to what I was reading. My cat bootsie came in with what seemed like she was exposed to a toxin. I'm glad we brought her in. It was the hardest decision ever but right by her. She had a fever of 106.4 and would have likely passed at home in pain. We opted for euthanasia due to the diagnosis and I knew it was coming. I couldn't afford treatment as it was. They didn't even charge me for the doctors exam for the $189 they only charged us for the euthanasia. Which I felt was a fair price for $199 to take the body home vs golden valley vet whom I called for a quote on the same thing and they quoted me $360!!! Not even for cremation The doctor she was very kind and explained the options and gave me reality. We made the right choice by Bootsie. The staff were great in helping me shave a patch of her fur and even got her paw prints for me and nose prints. I didn't even think they would get it since her whole mouth was covered in the activated charcoal I gave her. But I saw when I got home how many great prints they did of her paws and nose and it warmed my heart to have those. Thanks for helping her transition over the rainbow bridge

However, once we were placed in a room, we waited for an hour and a half and no technician or veterinarian came in to check on us. No one provided any updates or explained what was going on. We ultimately decided to leave and go somewhere else. This was not how we wanted our little dog's final moments to be handled. It felt like there was very little communication or urgency. It was a very disappointing and upsetting experience during an already difficult time.

Since my first amazing experience here ... my senior baby Reptar of 12 years passed away 4/24/26 …read more I wasn't going to share my ending experience but out of love and respect for my sweet boy , I'm going to tell it . The mass ended up being mast cell tumor and the cancer had spread giving me weeks left with him . After his first removal 2/26 , the aftercare seemed like they cared , hence the 5 star review . They called after to check up on him , would answer my calls to any questions I had about his healing and such .. healing was going well . Then he got another big mass shortly after close to where the previous surgery was . We scheduled another removal . The 2nd removal and healing process was HORRIBLE . Engraved in my mind and truly traumatized forever .. and then the after care and treatment we both got from the staff , "supervisor" and vet assistants was beyond heartless . He was prescribed carprofen for his pain meds after surgery even though I asked for rimadyl since he's always taken that for pain . the carprofen had lamb flavor in it causing him to have outbreaks and suffering on top of the cancer attacking his body making his time left here more miserable . I couldn't figure out why or if it was the cancer ?? until I found out there was lamb in the pain pill and he's allergic to lamb .. I didn't know it had flavoring nor was I asked anything about allergies to things like that . I thought they were just normal pain pills being prescribed , I'd break half and put it in mashed potatoes or something soft and he'd just swallow it , he doesn't chew medicine ... so that upset me because he suffered for a while until I stopped giving him the pills and he immediately changed behavior and started acting back to normal and all the reactions settled . He was gushing blood and puss out of his new and old incision even though the old one basically healed , it was infected and forcing its way out reopening the healed scar . I called the office scared asking for advice and some antibiotics and Sam the receptionist really really really made this harder on me than it already was . Her attitude , the lack of empathy and respect she continuously showed throughout our interactions over the phone , lack of urgency when I needed to pass on important messages to Dr.Singh , she would refuse and try to give me her own advice FIRST until I was adamant I wanted it passed on ... I spoke to the office supervisor Shay about her actions because how are you the face of the vet/answering phones and have an attitude like that towards GRIEVING patients whose dog is currently dying ?! Ridiculous . Spoke to an employee named Zaire a couple times in replacement of Sam that were unpleasant as well , both need to be retrained in customer service and BOTH lacked respect and empathy ! It got to a point where he was constantly throwing up and I was researching that they can prescribe nausea pills or give a shot for relief , that option was being denied to me because they wanted me to come back in for another transaction "to see if he really needed them" instead of just prescribing my dying dog the pills at Costco for some relief in his final days ... Dr.Singh wasn't in the office for that request so Dr.Berrar according to what the staff told me , that he wouldn't give me anything until I came back in the office even though we were just there the day before and them all seeing the condition he was in . Shay did eventually offer for me to come in for a shot for 1 day relief FOR NOW but I was already so mentally drained after all the fighting , I got him help elsewhere for that . Dr. Singh told me personally in our visit if I needed anything medication wise to send in the request and he'd get on it and I was constantly being shut down while I'm trying to be an advocate and be strong for my dog while my heart was breaking from losing him .. so so discouraging on top of losing my best friend right in front of my eyes . After he passed away , I had so much hurt and anger towards the recent actions of this vet , I HAD to tell Shay EVERYTHING that happened , bawling my eyes out on the phone and eventually letting her know that he had passed away . $5000 later and my dog isn't here anymore , not once did the staff or Dr. Singh reach out with a call , send a card of condolences or anything . This felt very transactional and not genuine AT ALL . My poor baby suffered soooo much his last days and I was doing my ALL to fight for him and get him the help he needed , just for it all to be too late . All I have left to say is .... I hope the staff I dealt with never have such a deep attachment to someone special or an animal the way I did and be treated how I was while I was going and AM going through this HELL time , instead of being comforted and supported . Reptar deserved way more respect and love than what he got from this office , he was nothing but loving to them and a senior boy in his last days . My heart is beyond shattered . Gutted .
