Once I found out the primary company wasn't actually the one doing the work, I was honestly hesitant, especially after reading some of the reviews about Best Care online. I ended up calling almost every day with questions and concerns, and every time, they took the time to talk to me and explain things. They even sent someone out for a walkthrough so I could understand what to expect. Dan, the supervisor, went above and beyond and even showed me which food items needed to be bagged and what could stay. The day of the fumigation, the crew arrived in the afternoon. I later found out they can do around 6-7 jobs in a day, which is no joke! Knowing that, I can understand how small things can sometimes get missed. But the workers themselves were very hardworking. If they noticed anything that looked off before starting, they let me know. Even with small plants, they would tell me if they weren't able to safely work around them. They really went above and beyond to make sure my home and plants were taken care of, from the moment the tent went up until the day it came down. A couple of small things were left behind, but when I contacted the office, they sent someone out right away to take care of it. They also allowed me to be there while the tarps were going up and coming down, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Fumigation is definitely something to think twice about, especially when it's your own home. I was nervous going into it, but Best Care did a great job keeping me informed and making sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. I really appreciate the crew and everyone who took the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. Doing 6-7 jobs a day is no joke, so I definitely give these guys props for all their hard work!

I did my homework on Planet Orange, however I did not review BCF (my bad) when they sent me their paperwork. My wife and I went on a short vacation during the fumigation process. Upon our return we found the following. 1) Water hose reel were used to water the homes' exterior upon tenting. In the process of rewinding to the hose reel, the hose was tangled withing both hose reels. 2) Huge volumes of used masking tape are found throughout multiple areas outside our house (horrible clean-up) on the ground, in the plants, etc. which we've been cleaning up. 3) Decorative rocks moved, spread out in the front of our home, including our yard (danger to lawn mowing equipment) 4) Lighting fixture in our backyard which are secured with in-ground stakes loosened. Unclear why, possibly used to secure the tenting, or bumped by their crew during install and removal however one was so loose it required reinstallation. 5) In fairness to (BCF) they stipulate plants next to the house be trimmed, detached or removed. Upon our return, the lattice plants in our courtyard were decimated. We felt we should have been forewarned our plants would be killed. We thought the chemicals used would damage the plants. We were left unaware the fumigation process would kill the plants, required all new plants and a new plant wall would need to be regrown. Last item. I sent multiple copies of their agreements to the email addresses provided. I finally sent the documents via a fax to ensure delivery. I received confirmation that the documents had been received. I've continued to receive emails with request to sign their Docusign documents that do not include the additional terms and conditions I'd added to the original documents provided. After reaching out to Planet Orange, they confirmed the documentation was received in complete form, they made a request to BCF to cancel any additional request. This has gone unnoticed as BCF's request continue. I receive emails every other day, with a request to sign their Docusign document.

I reached out to about 8 different companies. Several of these were recommended to me by friends and family. I decided on three different companies. I scheduled appointments for them to come out and do a walkthrough/estimates/inspections. One never showed up (No showed TWICE). The other two companies did. From the beginning, Matt put me, and especially my mother, at ease about the process, the products they used, the other things we needed to consider in the overall plan of house repairs, improvements, etc. Customer Service is a big part of any company. Loved that I could text or call. Either method I decided to use was promptly answered. They offered a very explicit and thorough walk through of the timeline, what needed to be done, what to expect, etc. THIS was huge. I love checking off a to do list and this was super helpful to keep me and my family focused on what needed to be done. Alex (Alejandro) and team were super helpful on Friday morning when they showed up to put up the tent. Alex answered all of my questions and even relocated one of our Ring cameras so we could keep an eye on our home while we were away. THIS was special and put us at ease that we didn't need to be hanging out in our backyard for hours into the night or camped out in the back yard to feel like we were keeping our property safe. They also did what they could to keep some of our oldest rose bushes around our home alive. They moved the tent behind the bushes where they could to still keep a good seal around the property. That was how terrible my flea infestation had gotten. I had gotten rid of them before, but this time it was just more than I could handle. It had simply started with Frontline being ineffectual with their formula (screw you Frontline), but snowballed into one of the most hellish experiences I'd ever gone through. The only reprieve has been through Honest Pest Control. When we had finally given up on trying to "do it ourselves", we found Robert's business. He had the best rate of the 4 services we called. First, he asked what type of medications our animals were on. Since he was spraying both inside and outside, he wanted to make sure his pest-control solutions wouldn't react poorly with our pets. Even we hadn't thought of that... but it just shows how much care he puts into his work and service! Secondly, our fleas REFUSED go away. Even after the first treatment, we still found more fleas. Robert came back immediately free of charge to spray again with a different solution. Even after the second spray, they STILL wouldn't go away. One call later, Robert came back for a THIRD time to spray a new solution. He even surveyed our neighbor's yard to make sure the fleas weren't coming in from that direction. Lastly, Robert even made sure to dump out our dogs' water bowls before we got back home. He wanted to make sure that he wasn't contaminating their food or drink. This was something we normally would've had to taken care of ourselves when we got back home after the spray service, but these small kind actions were what really impressed us with his service. We couldn't be happier with the service and how many times he was willing to come back to re-spray, free of additional charge, making sure he got the job "done". In terms of communication, pricing, and care - you can't do any better than Honest Pest Control. I think after this fiasco, finally biting the bullet to hire a professional service, we won't ever be trying to "do it ourselves" again. Instead, we will be coming back to Robert for all future pest issues!
