I have been going to this place for awhile and yesterday was the first time I left truly disappointed. I walked in and asked for a fill and a design. I usually tell them at the front that I want a design so then they can give me someone who can actually do it. The lady who did my nails did the first heart on my left hand not too bad and then it went downhill from there. My right had is visibly worse . The hearts aren't filled in all the way, you can see the pink where it should be red. I didn't realize they were that bad until I was already gone . I would rather the nail lady say that she can't do it and not get the design than leave with the design looking like this and $45 gone. ***** update-- I got my nails done 2/11 and they are already lifting up in the back at the nail bed by 2/16 and my hair gets caught underneath them. read more

Zero stars if I could!!!! UGLIEST nails I've ever had in my life!!!! I have never left a bad review in my life but I Left this place SO disappointed, they EARNED my first one!! My whole ordeal was the worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon. I will never step foot in this place again. Was taken care of by a tech by the name of TI who has no business working as a nail tech, let alone being in customer service. I asked him nicely to please fix my nails so that my right hand matched my left when I noticed he was doing them unevenly. He became visibly angry & annoyed at this & began slamming things around on his desk so I asked for another tech to please finish off my nails & he refused to move, talking back n forth w another employee in wtvr language they speak. I felt humiliated!!!!Even the lady next to me who overheard everything told me I was not in the wrong, as we pay a lot of $$ for their services. I went in for a simple fill w ombré and left w hardly any nail and the ugliest ombré I've ever seen. I even attempted changing the design to a solid full color w/ white tips since he was struggling & he STILL couldn't get that right. The French tips were uneven on every single nail. Finally after filing my nails down to a pulp, they gave me to another tech who filed even more and attempted the ombré again & failed horribly. At that point all I could do was pay and walk out. I'd just gotten a new set 2 weeks ago and will now have to go somewhere else to get an entire new set bc of how misshapen & thin my nails are. & to top it all off, they STILL had the nerve to charge me full price after the entire 2 1/2 hour mess. Pictures posted of what I asked for vs what I got for reference. The shape, color, effect, length, NOTHING comes even close to what I asked & paid for. After being reassured at the very start of my appt that they would be able to get it done when I showed the picture. I would've appreciated some honesty to save my hard earned money & precious time for true professionals who are actually capable. read more

I gave this new nail place and it wasn't terrible, but I was not impressed. I asked for a manicure to clean up my cuticles and just basic paint. The woman insisted on doing gel or dip because it's "healthier" for the nails. Normally I hate what dip or gel does to my natural nails and it forces you to keep going back more frequently. I figured maybe she wasn't good at regular polish. Unfortunately, the dip turned out super thick and the color was nothing like the sample. Not only that, it was $55 when I was intending to spend $20. I'll go back and try for a manicure one more time before writing them off, but I don't have high hopes. read more

St. John had desperately needed a clean affordable nail salon for years. Top Nails delivers. It is conveniently located near Target. I visited shortly after their grand opening on a Tuesday afternoon and did not wait for a technician. I like to get my nails cleaned up with a basic or classic manicure with clear polish and have been in sticker shock at a few other local places pricing. My manicure here was $20. Yay! Finally a reasonable price. The interior was beautiful, clean and modern. Absolutely recommend! read more

Top nails is the best nail salon I've ever been to (and with getting my nails done every 3 weeks I've been to quite a few). Tina always pulls off amazing artwork that duplicates exactly the pictures I bring in to her. Also, they give the best pedicures I've ever had!! I went to other salons who had me walking out with bleeding feet and calluses still in tact. To nails gave me baby soft feet with the most luxurious pedicure I've ever experienced. I have been to this place a few times and my last 2 visits were not great. Its very nice inside and the people for the most part are friendly but the service was not the greatest. The owner and front desk girls walk up and down the aisles watching their staff and almost like rushing them. The vibe is that they rush their staff to get more people in and out. I've also been rushed at the dryer several times and have left with messed up polish on my toes. They only have 3 dryers and about 15 pedicure chairs. The place needs more dryers to accommodate guests. We shouldn't be rushed after spending money to support your new business. I more than likely will not be back as I can not keep wasting money and leaving unhappy. read more

Tina reached out me me the next day to apologize for my experience and insisted I come back in to get my nails redone. She assured me that my nails will look nice. She was very nice. My experience in the past with being unhappy has never led to the owners reaching out to rectify their work at no charge. Other places would charge me for their mistake. Not Top Nails. Please let them know, in a nicely manner of course, if you're unhappy. But I hope all their customers leave happy every time. :) read more

Very poor quality manicure. Angie was rude. I originally requested a dip manicure and after she started she told me if I wanted my cuticles cut that it would be $10 extra. I asked to proceed with just a regular manicure. This upset several of the staff and Angie left me completely and another man stepped in. I will not be returning as with everything he did he made sure to show me the clippers and tell me "see nothing. See nothing." At this point I was feeling very uncomfortable and just wanted to leave so I requested no color. I was left completely unsatisfied and felt I wasted my money. read more

I wanted to like this place so bad so I gave it 2 tries. The inside is very nice and clean but the space is cramped. It's hard to get in and out of your seat without other guests having to move to let you walk through. My first experience I asked for a deluxe pedicure and received a classic. They made it right by having me come back to the chair and adding the products for the deluxe. The color and design I asked for was not exactly how I thought it would be but not horrible. My second experience I went in for a no chip manicure. The tech soaked my nails in water that was probably sitting out for 10 mins and rushed through the whole process. She put some oil on my cuticles and said I was done. I went up to the counter to ask what Is included in my manicure and I should've received lotion. I went back to the chair where the tech literally slapped lotion on and told me to wash my hands and that was it. Maybe it's just the techs I'm getting but I'm very disappointed in the service, especially this last time. read more

they have failed two health inspections. couldn't do the simple design I asked for after she confirmed she was able to do it. then couldn't apply chrome correctly. while doing all of this, she was actively blowing on my nails with her mouth. gross and waste of time and money read more
