I used to go to a different salon in Valpo and they treated me horrible and I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air this salon was! I'm a customer for good now! Thank you so much for an inviting atmosphere, excellent nail techs, and fair pricing! Give them a try, my experience was night and day from bad reviews!! Please give them a try and decide for yourself! I won't go anywhere else from now on! Thank you so much for actually being a quality nail salon.

ZERO STARS Hi. I wanted to write in to tell you about an…read moreexperience I had while getting pedicure at Cosmo, today (Sunday about 11-12noon). The gentleman providing the pedicure cut my 2nd tip of my toe with the cheese grader (callous remover) and I could tell he felt very bad, but it hurt and took about 4-5 hours to quit bleeding. I didnt make a big deal out of it in your store because there were other customers there and because I could tell he felt bad. However, I was still charged full price for my pedicure $56.00 and now have no nail polish on my toes because my toe was actively continuing to bleed as he finished the pedicure and I didnt want the wound site contaminated, plus I have a pretty painful wound site on my toe now. I have enclosed a picture so you can see the severity of the issue. If I was diabetic, this could possibly turn into a severe wound or loss of toe or foot from infection. At the very least, I hope you will emphasize the importance of using the cheese grader (callous remover) much more carefully to all your employees in the future. Sincerely, A sad customer Jennifer Burrell Sent from my iPhone There was no reply to this email at all. I sent this to the email listed on Cosmo Spa Nails website and it was ignored. If I could upload photos of my toe you would be appalled. It's still very painful to walk on and not healed all the way. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I will never go back. i understand accidents and having a bad day but to ignore the situation like nothing happened, then charge me and then ignore the email I sent privately attempting to rectify privately is horrible.

I have been going to Kim's Nails for 15+ years. They are the ONLY nail salon I will go to, A…read morecouple times over the years I have gone to different nail salons out of convenience at the time. Never again. Each time when I returned to Kim's they fixed the fungus and acrylic breaks of the other salons. I have been to every nail technician at Kim's and can attest that each one is very good. They have all been there for years; no turnover. You can specify a certain technician when you sign in or call in for your appt. I usually walk-in and get the next available tech. I have found them to be very eager to please. I have never had a pedi at Kim's; I believe they have 5 or so pedi chairs. My normal service is an acrylic fill-in with regular or no-chip polish. They do take credit /debit cards (except for Sunday's I believe due to the bank card processing system they use which is down on Sundays?), but tips cannot be put on the card so I always make sure I am prepared. I usually just hit the atm on the way to Kim's and pay cash for the service and the tip. Amazingly, the prices have never increased in 15 years. The staff is friendly; sometimes silly/funny. Seems like most people who go there are regulars or repeat customers, I am always greeted by name and notice many others greeted by first name too; the customer's are friendly also. Kim's is the only nail salon I trust.
