My friends wanted to do an impromptu nail day. We drove to this salon as all the others were unavailable. I typically don't go to nail salons because I do my own nails at home, but my experience here was great! I got a pedicure with a hot stone massage. The pedicure was great - my feet were squeaky clean, soft, and my toe nails were beautifully shaped and painted. The price was pretty fair as well. My friend got a super cute acrylic manicure!! I loved how her nails turned out. If I had to nitpick, the skin around her nails did look dry, but nothing a little nail oil and hand cream can't fix. The nail salon was clean and I observed the technicians practicing correct hygiene. I was greeted and asked what I wanted. I said Pedicure with Gel & Dip nails. I was seated immediately so I thought it was starting out great with no wait. The guy turned the water on and it was sadly like warm and by the time he came and took my gel off on my toes it was COLD. Oh let me detail the moment I knew I should've just stopped service and walked out. As he was taking my gel off on the toes, with the efile, you can tell he was inexperienced. The machine stuttered a few times and I can feel my nails getting caught. He continues to file the edge of my toe nails causing it to crack down the middle. (I didn't have that prior to the service.) my pinky toe nail corner got jipped also. I know he knows at that point I'm done with it so he stopped and started painting the gel remover polish. Then he continues to take an old hand file and starts scratching the GEL off. I've been getting my toes done for 10 years every 3 weeks to know that this is 1.unsanitary & 2.not the correct way. He was suppose to use a cuticle pusher to scrap it off but he caused thinning to my nails. As service continues, he files the nail on my left foot and barely pushes the cuticle back... cuts the nails on right foot and files crookedly... barely pushed back cuticle and skips my big toe... so cuts one foot and files but only files the other and I told him he didn't cut my left foot and he goes oh? And proceeds to cut it... at this point I'm done. But how much worse can it get? The gel wasn't even all off and he FILES AND BUFFS it even more trying to get everything off and my nails are now different shapes and thin as hell. I ended up saying no polish and to just massage and be done. He rubbed the rocks but no pressure... just like he didn't wanna be there. Wiped down with hot towel and then he basically hand gestures he was done and my toes still had polish on it. Dead skin and cuticles... I asked if he can clean it up but it went no where... ALSO DIDNT GET DIP NAILS. NOT SURE IF THEY FORGOT OR WHAT BUT THEY STARTED ON ANOTHER PERSON THAT CAME IN AFTER ME SO AT THIS POINT I DIDNT EVEN WANNA STAY ANY LONGER. I can tell this guy either doesn't have his cosmetology license yet. He would know at least the basics and that wasn't the case. I paid 45$ for this shit show. read more

I was actually hoping to make this place my new regular nail spot. David has done an amazing job on my feet two out of the three times I did business with Top Nail Salon. However, after today's visit I won't be returning. I was up charged, I had the same service done I've gotten the previous two visits. This time the dad or older brother and a young lady serviced me. She intentionally made my nails fragile by over using the lamp light at the start of a natural gel set. I've heard them whisper about me not getting the nails tops prior but paid it no mind until this visit. It was not don't correctly and then she charged me $19 extra. And stated that this fee has always been there. When it has not. Same service three times the third time I'm up charged. There is a lack of integrity with this business. I suggest we put them all out of business and find some one who does nails independently. Independent nail techs care more about customer satisfaction!! read more

Nails are very important to us women so I am going to write a very detailed review, and include all of the things that I look for in reviews when trying to find a new spot. I did my nails with Becky- very friendly lady. They have a 15% off special Mon-Wed 10-3pm on anything over $30. I arrived at 3:15 but because I was a new customer, she was nice enough to honor the discount. I really appreciate their large selection of colors, whether it's regular, gel, or dip- they have a huge variety! With my nails, I just ask for 2 things which is a nice EVEN shape and THIN gel polish. Although this color required 3 coats, she still managed to keep them thin, because no one likes bulky! I'm really hoping they last more than a week! Kim worked on my pedicure at the same time as Becky was doing my manicure- this allowed for me to be in and out of there within the hour! She was very thorough and took her time. She also continuous asked if I was doing okay. She also did a fantastic job on the massage and polish! It's one of the best pedicures I've had in a while! Overall I truly enjoyed my first visit at Top nails. The staff was kind and their services are also very reasonably priced: Pedicure $25, gel manicure$30 is the regular pricing. Terrible. I've been a loyal customer for over 2 years now and today will be my last. Let me start off by saying it took over two hours for a mani/pedi. Whatever you do, don't let the man with glasses do your toes. I don't think he's trained or certified. He completely forgot to cut down my nails, file and buffer them down UNTIL I reminded him to. He was literally about to put nail polish on WITHOUT even cutting down or buffering, like c'mon man, that's nail basics 101. Now my toenails look crooked because he didn't even know how to file/shape them. Secondly, my dip powder mani was just OKAY. It's not smooth and glossy whatsoever. There are even fingerprint smudges on some of them, which also include, *drum roll*....tiny bits of hair from the dirty ole makeup brush they use to dust off nail residue, etc. The older lady (also with glasses) who did my mani was sweet but she's not capable of giving a "luxurious" experience like the other salons I've been to. I'm honestly disappointed with the outcome of my nails. I don't know if they had a bad case of the Thursday's but this s**t was amateur hour on steroids. My normal placed was closed today, so I called around my neighborhood to see who was open. They fit me in for a pedicure right before closing on Memorial Day.
