If I could give 0 stars I would. horrible service, horrible nails, and such rude technicians. I have never ever not given a tip even when I didn't like how my nails turned out but I couldn't tip after the service I received at this place. Instead of shaking and properly removing my acrylics she ripped them off, breaking my own nails down in the process. I was confused and after that happening and hurting for a few nails I mentioned she was breaking my nails down. She rudely said this way is faster and then with an attitude went to soaking. She then told me I had to have my nails clipped down for me to get my nails done, which no other place, including the place I now go to, has ever done. She called me "picky" for those 2 things and told me to "look it up" when I questioned why she insisted on cutting my nails. Horrible horrible horrible. read more

I've always been on time if i had an appointment with Ann why would i go inside if she wasn't present. I walk in when she comes in. If she wanted someone else to start my nails she should have asked. Simple communication and very unprofessional. It's not defamation if I'm sharing my experience. And yes Kim to the left of Ann sucks. And Ann has a terrible attitude. I felt very uncomfortable in this nail salon. I went in and asked for a nail fix (keep in mind my nail lady from a different salon was out of town so i decided to go here) There was a young girl who fixed the broken nail but she wasn't very gentle and seemed as if she didn't want to do it. She finished the nail and I was upset because it was very thin and flat (didn't have an apex whatsoever). I love the color of my nails but it seems very weak and easy to break. During the visit to this salon, I felt very uncomfortable because an older lady was watching the young girl and literally was speaking a different language and bothered me because I felt like I was being spoken about. I wouldn't want to visit here ever again. read more

I've been here many times since my initial review and will continue to patronize because their prices are the best around and the service is satisfactory. Some things I've discovered during my many visits that might help you.... Only one gal does waxes and she's always busy with a nail client. Expect to sit in the chair and wait a good bit before she catches a break to get to you. I request female attendants. Not that I had a bad experience with a male, but I watch them while I'm there and they're clearly distracted and not focused on the task at hand. You can tell nails are just not their "thing". Manicures on natural nails don't even last a day. I get them for the attention to my cuticles and the even filing. However as far as polish goes (I don't do gel because of the uv) color I give myself at home lasts much longer with no chipping. I prefer (and now that I know their work schedule) the two younger college age attendants that only work weekends. They do a good job, are meticulous with the process, speak better English, and usually are available right away. Avoid the pregnant attendant. She's a last resort manicurist they pull from the back when they're busy. She rushes, skips steps, avoids conversations, and doesn't file well. Credit cards are accepted but discouraged. They have a mac machine in house and push you to use it. Tips are ONLY accepted in cash. While the pedicure stations are clean the back of the salon is cluttered with stock, personal artifacts, and junk. The decor is on the tacky side. read more

The owner is very rude and unprofessional. Went in for a refill and she missed a spot on 3 or fingers and I kindly let her know she missed some spots. Well she apparently didn't like me asking her to fill my nails in completely so after she went back in fill them in she roughly pushed my hands towards me and asked me if that's good enough for me. At this point I didn't trust her with my hands so I lefted with one filled the other one untouched and extremely uncomfortable and disappointed that I was treated that way after being a customer for over 12 years. read more

This is a great nail salon to go to if you are trying to get a quick fix or just want to drop in. They are very friendly and do an amazing job. I came in one night at 7:15 and they close at 8pm. The girl fixed my broke nail and re-did my powder drop set. I felt bad that I came in so close to close but she was happy to help. They are a bit of a little messy looking nail salon because it is small and has a lot in it, but they do great work. You also getting a mini neck message after getting your nails done! My friend suggested we go here because the place I usually go to had a long wait. We walked in to 2 nail techs practicing on each who seemed irritated as if WE were interrupting THEM. That should have been my first clue about their utter lack of customer service... We were immediately seated and our services began. I wanted a gel manicure. However, when the nail tech asked me if I wanted my nails clipped, I told her yes because I am a nurse and can not have them long. She then proceeded to scowl and mumble something under her breath. It's at this point that I should have left because her attitude was completely unacceptable. But she had gripped my hand and yanked it across the table and I made the choice to extend grace because maybe she was just having a bad day. The manicure was short and not sweet. She never asked me what shape I wanted she just cut my nails directly across into a square shape and when I asked her to please shape them how I prefer she pretended to and then just started slapping nail polish on, mean mugging the entire time. At this point the place was starting to fill up so she quickly finished up with me, jumped up from the table and before I knew it she had snuck behind me to give me a very rough upper back massage causing me to yell and jump out of my seat from the surprise of it all. Mind you she had barely said one word to me the entire time and then just randomly started massaging not my hands but my back. A minute later she was gone and starting someones pedicure. My nails looked JACKED! She had barely attempted to do any cuticle care and she didn't even bother to carry the polish all the way back to the base of the nail so it looked like they were a week grown out. Judging by the rude attitudes I didn't even bother to attempt to ask for a redo because I was not in the mood to argue or get heated. We paid and I tipped her 20% as I always do ( out of pure compassion not because she actually deserved it) and that was the first time a smile graced this miserable soul's face. It was actually pretty sad. Never again will I stray from my usual nail salon. read more

I was driving through Lanc after work and decided to treat myself to a mani-pedi for my birthday around 5pm Tuesday evening. I work in a vineyard so I came in with dirty clothes and hands after pruning vines all day - and of course apologized for the lack of cleanliness. The lady said I wouldn't wait long. After at least 20 minutes I asked how much longer I would be waiting. Replies included really soon. Ten minutes later I continued to sit patiently with my feet in water that had cooled to room temperature. Not only had I waited long, my manicure was rushed because an older woman in business formal attire had just walked in expressing that she didn't want to wait long. I walked out of Top 1 Nails at 7pm after spending $37 with hands almost as dirty and cuticles just as long as they had been walking in, after receiving terrible service and the worst professional manicure I've ever had. Two hours later. I will not recommend this place to friends and family. read more

I've gotten my acrylics done here twice before and it's a decent spot! The first time I got square French tips and they turned out fantastic!! The second time I got round nails that I had painted a pink shade. The second set of acrylics were a little lumpy (I mean the surface wasn't totally smooth), but other than that I loved them! read more

This nail salon is great! I went today for dip powder for the first time and my nail tech, Jen, was amazing and very gentle! I couldn't decide on the color I wanted so I narrowed it down to three and asked her to help. She picked one that she thought would look good with my skin tone and I love it! My nails are even and beautiful and she made sure to ask if I liked them so far after each step. Lots of people I know go here as well and they are always very happy with the results. Everyone is very friendly and they give a nice little back massage while your nails are drying/setting. read more

Made an appointment for a pedicure. When I arrived, seems like no one was ready for me. Finally, when I was brought to the chair, the water was way too hot. No one had checked it. The lady who was about to start my pedicure got up and this older man came over. The procedure was rushed. He basically just passed the instruments over my toes -no cuticles pushed back or nothing. Then the hot wrap was also too hot, and he barely massaged my calves. When it came to the drying and shoulder massage, he squeezed my muscles tightly a couple of times, gave me a good ol' slap on my shoulders and said "you pay now". I paid and left. Less than 2 days later my polish started chipping off. Really disappointed - this was a full fee service. I won't be going back. read more

It's ok. I was extremely impressed when I got my nails done. We got it finished in about 15 minutes but the drying process took forever. She didn't say one word to me the whole time. Not too good on fluent English. I get to the register expecting it to be $15-$25 without a tip. They then tell me it only costed $5. Well $8 with a tip. I was so surprised and my nails looked amazing. I told my sister about the amazing price and she asked where I got them done. I told her and right away she had a bad look on her face. She said a lot of her friends have gotten their nails done there but have gotten molded fingers from them not washing their tools properly. I love Top Nails! I only get my fingers and toes done here because Ann and Lynn do a fantastic job and it's clean. I find if I call ahead (15-30 mins before I will arrive) I don't have to wait. I have seen folks vacuuming and cleaning nail tables but more importantly I see folks clean out the pedicure baths after each client and they have an autoclave (to sterilize)!!! read more

I think everyone here is great. I don't know why someone is on here complaining about a 2 minute massage. It's a nail salon, if you want a massage go get a Swedish and pay 70 dollars. Every one in there is nice. They always take care of my wife and I and treat us great. My wife broke her ankle and they were very accommodating, for example they usually ask her to wash her hands before the last portion of her manicure but since she broke her ankle they used a hot towel on her and got a stool to prop her leg up. read more

Me and my mother decided to go here to treat ourselves. I got a gel manicure and she got a pedicure. This salon is nice and has a lot of workers. My mother got a guy (not sure of his name) and he was great! Her nail polish looks really good and he was really nice. I got a woman (not sure of her name either) and my nails look not so great. This was my first time getting a gel manicure and I expected better. My nail polish looks patchy and she did not get my whole nail on some of my fingers. This lady also did not say one word to me the whole time other than 'go wash you're hands.' I won't be back here. read more

Very disappointed with my mani/pedi. Worst ever. I had never been to this salon before, but because my usual salon, US Nails, was extremely busy & I was in dire need of a pedicure, I went 1/4 mile down the street to the new location of this salon in Worthington on Oregon Pike. What a mistake! I should have known as soon as I walked in because there were technicians sitting around & no customers. First clue! The technician cut my toenails with a cuticle nipper! No toenail clipper. As a result, they were all chopped up. She did an okay job on my cuticles & polishing my toenails, but spent maybe a total of 30 seconds on my feet. It was my feet that needed attention. My heels were dry & rough, my callouses needed to be smoothed. I returned home & looked at my heels & feet and I was outraged! There were as bad as when I went in. I suspected this since she hardly run the pumice over them. I made an appointment at US Nails for today to get a real pedicure! The manicure was no better. Soaked in a bowl of ice cold water, with no suds. Cut my nails with cuticle nippers, no fingernail clipper in sight. Did a fine job with polishing my nails, but didn't even put any lotion on my hands. My hands were dry and would have benefited from having some lotion rubbed into them. I feel like I paid $32 for a polish change. I will never, ever return to this salon. Their work is sub-standard. Next time, I will wait for however long it takes to get consistent, wonderful service at US Nails on Oregon Pike. read more

Used to go here a lot and recommended it often to friends, but it will be awhile until I return, if ever. Prices for a pedicure are great, plus they usually do a nice little foot/calf massage. Little chocolates when your nails are drying, too. But I felt uncomfortable my last time in there when they really pushed for cash tipping (rather than putting it on my card) at the end. They actually interrupted me as I was about to add tip on the card asking twice for cash instead, and it was just odd and I felt so uncomfortable. They had never done that before, but then I even saw a little note at the cash register that they wanted cash tips. I find that quite shady, as I do not know of another reason to do this other than for under-the-table/non reporting of income. With my family working in tax and audit work maybe I am just overly sensitive to this, but it feels like something a decent business wouldn't push on its customers. Disappointing. read more

horrible place. got a pedicure and uv gel full set. pedicure was super short and got massaged for 2 minutes if anything, and when I paid i got told the full set was $45 when it clearly said $30. Their answer was "they were liquid gel, not powder gel." I am a hairdresser and I KNOW there is no such thing as powder gel. I paid and left because I was already having a bad day and fighting wasn't worth it. I had to file some of my nails because they were crooked. Customer service is terrible. No one tried talking to me and would only talk to their co workers in their language, and it was obvious when they'd talk about you. Overall a bad and uncomfortable experience. Won't ever go back and don't recommend this place to anyone. read more
