I woke up the next day after getting them done and my eye was completely swollen shut and I had called the manager and she told me that it was all my fault and that this is not their fault at all and that she can't help me at all. This use to be the best place to get your nails done and yes they are usually on pricey side but that didn't matter since they were always done beautifully but this time the really dropped the ball I told the First Lady that I really would like for her to clean under the nail where acrylic usually builds up like a littl ball which tends to trigger me to pick on the nail. she said she knows but didn't clean them correctl. then another lady sits to do the 3 nail that have French paint and two nail with a design. if she felt that the design was difficult I would have preferred for her to say so. but it wasn't looking good so I asked her to not bother with the one design and make it French like the other so that way it was simpler to which her response was she didn't have time to fix that. she didnt even put clear on the remaining fingers and got up and sat with another customer. I told her that I would not mind to wait for someone else to finish but left me there like an idiot I waited 5-7 min to hear a direction however was treated like a pest. So i began to feel uncomfortable and told listen just forget it I'll just pay and leave. Went here for an appointment at 2:30 last Saturday and it will be the last time I EVER go here. Started off choosing a basic pedicure ($35), added gel and I wanted like an opalescent white color. No one greeted me and then I went around side and said "hello, I'm here for my pedicure", the woman didn't even look at me and just pointed at the wall and said "pick a color". It's very confusing how they have their polished displayed and there were like no books or example nails etc that were present to be able to actually see the colors. So the woman doing my nails then said "oh I can use the chrome powder to make it shimmery". I said "ok cool". Well after and HOUR & FOURTY minutes this is what I ended up with...see pics!!! Then go to pay because I had to leave as I had a birthday dinner to attend and she said my bill was $66! So make sure to read all the chalk board because they charge $17 for adding gel, $17!! Then added another $10 for the chrome which I was completely unaware would be an up charge. So I paid $66 for a pedicure that took almost 2 hours and looks like a child did...DO NOT GO HERE read more

My nails look like a sleeping guy painted them... And that's because a sleeping guy painted my nails. He must have been very tired because he was fighting the sleepiness and was dozing off the entire time. He just laughed when he head nodded and smeared my nail with polish. He also made no effort to clean up the previous polish. I showed him the bubbles I had in one nail and he just said 'ok' and painted more. The gel is flowing over my cuticle.... It's a mess. You too can have this experience, all for $25. I'm very disappointed. I will never come back. Aside from this pretty sad experience and poor customer service they have a decent gel color selection. I have been religiously coming here for the past year but the last couple of months I have made appointments and had to wait some time to be helped. I had no problem with this previously because I know they get packed but then they should NOT be accepting more people. Today I had an appointment for 10:30 and they soaked my feet in COLD water. I left at 11:10 after waiting 40 minutes and did not receive an apology from the owner. I watched them start manicures and pedicures for people who came in AFTER me. I am switching nail salons now. I've been to allure 3 times. The first was great. Friendly staff and great looking nails! The second two times I had the gentleman in the pictures I will add in addition to this post. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, but as you can see I got nothing close. He hacked my nails so short without evening asking (I wanted long). He filed my fingers so roughly that, last time, he cut my cuticle open from the back and forth rubbing of the file. This time, he was filing so hard that my nail actually got stuck IN the file, which he didn't notice and continued to rip back and forth. I pulled my hand way back in pain!! He barely said sorry, and I'm 90% sure he half ripped my acrylic off of my nail. Then, after all that, he took text messages while in the middle of my nails!! The whole process ended up taking an hour and a half. Usually I get them done in 45minutes to an hour. He charged me 35 for the gel nail polish I had said I didn't want, and look at these awful awful things on my fingers!! The worst part was my sister and I informed the staff that these nails are for my fathers funeral. He is currently suffering so much from cancer, and my sister took me out of the house to try and lift my spirits and relax a little away from it all. Instead, I left this place nearly in tears and with an hour and a half of my time wasted on awful nails. Nails I would NEVER wear to my dads funeral--he deserves so much better. To further critique, none of my nails are straight. The flat tip is crooked or barely present on every nail. There's tons of acrylic and filings them. They're lumpy, misshapen, and very bubbley. It's ridiculous. I will be going back in today. I'll update my post from there. Very disappointed--allure has a strong staff minus this man. ************ After going back, Kim completely redid my nails for free and did a great job. I'll post a picture in addition. My nail tech cut my nail then glued it back on not Professionally at all! I went with a dear friend to get a pedicure at Allure and this is what she received for her $25. I called and we went in to discuss the polish and Allure staff made it our fault because the 2 plus hours we waited for her nails to dry was just NOT ENOUGH! They applied 3 coats of polish to even get the color to appear as what the bottle showed. The owner said it's quote "NOT MY PROBLEM, it's your fault "! The owner offered to repaint for $5, however with the quality of her polish and it not being able to dry in a timely manor, we kept our money and went to a salon who cares about customer care and that offers salon quality polish. Don't judge a book by its cover!!! This is probably one of the best manicures I have ever had. Morgan is amazing! She did my nails EXACTLY as I requested. Made suggestions to make them better than I thought. She asked frequently how I was doing made sure she was being gentle! And my nails look beautiful. This place is 5 minutes from my home and I never knew it existed. It's tucked behind a gas station, and may not appear to be the nicest place but the staff were friendly, quick, and thorough. I Was with a friend to get a color change and she had Gel Polish. They tried to charge her $40 for a color change. This was just to take off the gel and get plain polish! When speaking to the lady she said if they painted over the gel polish it will be $35! How in the world does this make sense? In the last 8 months I have been left hanging multiple times while my nail tech services someone else and today was the final straw. I had already finished my pedicure and was partway through a gel fill when the tech told me she'd be back and then went to do a manicure for someone else who had just walked in the salon. I couldn't leave, because not all my nails were filled. The owner sat and did paperwork while I sat there for 45 MINUTES!! Inexcusable! You do not ditch a customer mid-service to go work on someone else, especially a walk-in. This is the 3rd time something like this has happened, and I am done.
