I want to preface this by saying I don't write many reviews. You can see my profile. Maybe 5 places? Anyway, I want to keep it real with yall, so excuse my lack of proper grammar at times. I feel that's what makes reviews more appealing anyway. Well, here's my review: At first, I was quite worried. I showed up at 1230pm, wanting to seek a new patient in-take, even after these terrible reviews some of you left behind. They weren't there. They have weird hours, that I hadn't known until after walking up to the door. I could've called! They explain that, yes 110% do, in their voicemail! Anyway, I waited and ended up scheduling an appointment within a month (back in May, for June). Side note: the staff, WAS IN FACT, very friendly. Are they quiet? Maybe. I'm also loud and obnoxious sometimes. Anyway, they were VERY friendly. If you want to have a conversation with them, walk up and get their attention. They've been in the back room (I think) and I said "Ehm! Excuse me. I had a quick question!" They came to answer, IMMEDIATELY! Fast forward to mine and my wife's appointments: I had a cap and one filling, which took MAYBE an hour? They gave me prescription for anxiety. It worked wonders. My insurance covered a lot of my work. I have 2 more appointments until all my planned work is done. (They don't do it all in one! Thankfully. I couldn't imagine getting fillings and caps all at the same time). Also, the back area is very open concept. There's privacy between rooms, though they're very open. Wasn't a big deal to me! On top of this, I HATE X-rays and gag, pretty much every time. During my in-take, the girl that did mine assured me she'd be quick and accurate! MY LANTA, BRO!!! She was FAST. I don't think I had the xray things in my mouth longer than 5 seconds at a time. First time I've EVER left the dentist without sores in my mouth. Praise y'all for that! My wife's went well! The filling was a little rough. When addressed, they made room for her to come in and fix this issue immediately! I was THOROUGHLY impressed. They took care of it and my wife was so stoked! She's looking forward to the next THREE that they were able to schedule in July, same with my next one. Fast forward to present day. They only operate M-Th. This is fine as they except LATE appointments. In fact, Dr. Brady Smith made an Instagram post about them working 2, 17 (I think it is) hour days and having the rest of the week off! Anyway, today, I went to call and schedule for my kiddos to get into the office for in-take appointments and they said, "we are booked in July, however August is pretty open." So, I'm unsure why anyone would say they wouldn't allow to schedule more than a month out. Take the appointments you can get. Dentist offices haven't been the same since COVID. ALL things considered, I couldn't be more happy with choosing this office! Dr. Brady Smith and co., you all have done amazing! Thank you for taking our family in, on such short notice. Saw 3 different dentists for each of 3 visits. 1st was horribly rough. 2nd placed shoddy, coarse and scratchy temp bridge, 3rd was owner (comedian in his off-hours): he was aloof. The practice has absolutely no after-hour care and I had a dry socket (or something equally as painful). There's no answering machine, answering service or emergency phone number for any of the dental staff. When I mentioned this to the owner, he first dodged the question. I repeated it. He very casually said that being available for his patients after hours would be a great inconvenience to the personal life of the dentists in the practice. I had ended up going to Urgent Care who took one look and said "you needed an emergency dental practice". When I went there, they took an x-ray and the first words out of that dentist's mouth were "Wow; that was one aggressive dental procedure!" It was not a wonder why I was in so much pain. I made contact with my insurance company who agreed that I should not be charged for anything except the extraction. When I approach the dental practice with this, they reimbursed the insurance company in full, but offered me only a 50% reimbursement. I called back and said no; I want to be reimbursed 100%. I had the backing of the insurance company with regard to the fact that the work was substandard. The end result was getting a 100% refund. It was shocking that the dentist thought that they could negotiate 50% out of my pocket. The staff there is wonderful. The owner of the practice should make a choice between being a Dentist or a comedian. He's got a serious practice to run and is not providing the attention the patients deserve. read more

Dr. Trimble is an amazing dentist! He is very knowledgeable, and he makes sure to listen to what is important for you. I am usually very nervous going to the dentist due to past experiences. But my experience with Dr. Trimble during the two appointments I've had with him have been excellent and I have been very happy with results. I have also noticed that whoever he works with, he works with them very efficiently and he seems to be very respected. Thank you, Dr. Trimble! I work in healthcare as well, so I really appreciate when I notice these things. Dr. Trimble administered the numbing shot himself for me and he did an excellent job, I barely felt it. In the past, whenever I get a shot, I get shooting pain and it is painful. I was referred to Dr. Trimble by a friend, who also has amazing things to say about her experience- She had complicated dental issues that he helped her resolve. read more

Camas location used to be great but no its horrible. Staff ignores the patients, to talk amongst them selves. Root canal had to be redone because the Doctor was too busy talking with the hygienist about weekend plans and wasn't paying attention and messed it up. Then when trying to book an appointment for my kids they told be to schedule at a different dentist because they were booked out for a month. read more

Terrible receptionist talk to your receptionist because I had work previously done two months ago on a crown that fell apart they couldn't even tell me the price if it was going to be covered or not covered through my insurance very simple deal because you can actually pull up the deal or make a phone call to are when they were doing my work today. They won't even discuss the price until I actually walked out and said oh we cover it. See how shady and how unethical that places plus also the procedure procedures is actually doing other style work that actually we're not wasting my time this company loves wasting peoples times please read reviews. Brady himself is a nice guy so please don't take it. Wrong. Nicest is good but professionalism is a reason why people go places not professional. I asked him three times if the pressure is actually gonna physically be covered or not covered so I actually knew also my options because the truth is crown came off a couple times with his work in the past I had somebody else redo do it for me and it lasted for 20 fucking years again 20 years not even two Months they lie about their work and the procedure of things to cover to make themselves look professional just walk in and see how the receptionist play and not know any procedures that a normal receptionist would know that's what mostly is bad about this company especially even the one on 1902nd on the borderline of campus and Vancouver Washington read more

I went for a cleaning and I waited 40 minutes for just the hygienist to come back to clean my teeth. I left because I had other things going on and and then I called them to complain about the level of service and the receptionist responded as if she didn't care and that the level of neglect was warranted. I switched Dentistrys, I will never go back there. read more

I had all my teeth pulled by Dr. Smith and it took less time and was less painful than having 1 tooth pulled at Gentle Dental. I just wish I had found him sooner because I might not have ended up needing my teeth pulled. read more

Doctor makes me feel really comfortable. First you walk in and see girls who do cleaning and they get you in and out skillfully and precisely. All you could ask for in a dental clinic. Also I don't get the pain I've gotten all my life in other clinics. They must be doing something right. I've been here twice on 192nd and always had a professional visit. It was a clean office and it smelled good. The music was classic rock. The dentist discussed the procedure before we started. We moved at my speed which was nervous and apprehensive. The assistant was supportive and reassuring throughout the exam and extraction. The dentist did his best to communicate to me the process as well as listening to navigate a reasonable level of anesthetic before an extraction. Ultimately we were able to complete the procedure without discomfort once the anesthetic met the pain level. Overall it was effective. read more

I have been waiting to write this, after me recent visit I feel it is time to let others know how terrible my experiences have been here at Comfort Dental- now Tooth Docs. Probably the worst dental office I have been to, no it absolutely the worst! The front desk never answers when you call, then you leave a voicemail and don't hear back for a day, maybe two. Then, when you do speak to them, at least in my experience they are not kind, not understanding, not polite and even worse when I go in person. They make me feel extremely uncomfortable! Dr. Smith did not perform either of my procedures- so on his behalf And the interactions I had with him in the past were okay. But Please just know that when people have tooth problems and pain, listen to them... because it is very disrespectful to assume you know how someone else feels and to continue to ignore their calls & not give any reasoning why certain issues keep occurring, it's not okay and very unprofessional. I don't write bad reviews or complain at medical offices. However, I was very unhappy with my experience today. I was on time for my appointment. I had to wait 15 minutes in the lobby (not a big deal), once I got to the dental chair I had to wait another 15 minutes to get x-rays and cleaning. The cleaning was fine except they didn't floss. I continued to wait another 30 minutes before I finally went up to the front desk to ask how much longer it would be to see the dentist. He showed up very quickly after that, but he didn't even inspect or clean the plaque off of my teeth besides the one spot I had a concern about. He maybe looked in my mouth for a total of 2 minutes. I was at the office for about 90 minutes. I have to pay out of pocket because I don't currently have health insurance. I paid before leaving but I called back to let them know how my experience was and that I was insisting on a refund. The person I spoke with was very polite and passed my message onto the dentist. They called back and said he was willing to have me come back in and basically redo the cleaning and he apologized. I said that won't work for me at all. I have 3 children and I had to get a babysitter in order to even make my original appointment. I just want my money back. Again, she was very polite and understanding but it was up to the doctor to make that decision and at this point she didn't have that authorization. I thanked her for her time and told her I am going to have to leave a bad review because I feel what I asked for was fair. I like going to the dentist and taking care of my health. But this experience made me feel passed over and like he didn't care. Hopefully it is better for other people in the future. read more

My main problem with this dental office is that they do not have an actual dental hygienist and the cleanings I got were far below the standard I've experienced in other dental offices. After two cleanings ( I gave it another try) I switched to another local dentist just down the street and am very happy to have proper cleanings again. read more

After reading the positive reviews, what really made me want to visit was their lowest review.. this reviews low marks were in fact what I find refreshing and positive.. from my initial call explaining my current problem to their willingness to accommodate me with my busy schedule, to the very professional front desk, to the quick ,painless and efficient exam from the dental technician everything was seamless.. Doctor Woods was quite busy and as I was a "fit-in" appointment took a bit longer than you might expect.. That said he gave me his undivided attention and a game plan that he explained and I readily agreed with.. Ive already recommended Comfort Dental to my neighbor .. great Dentist's are a God send! read more

Never had such a terrible dentist experience. Told the dentist I didn't like having to wait 15 minutes for my appointment. The dentist said she didn't think we were getting along and she would prefer if I didn't come back and then the dental tech told me I should just leave if I have an issue waiting. A business telling you to not come back is discriminatory. The dental tech also hit my tooth really hard with the tool. The dentist looked at my X-rays said everything was fine then I pointed something out and she was like oh wait it is a cavity. When we came in the person in the area behind the secretary wasn't wearing a mask as well. Unprofessional and rude. I will be contacting the better business bureau and the Washington health authority about COVID business rules being broken and the unprofessionalism blatantly displayed in this office. read more

Comfort Dental's office staff is amazing! I enjoyed every visit. Shelby is an exceptional Dental Assistant - always friendly, very knowledgeable, thorough, professional and funny at the same time! Doctor Smith is also a pleasure to deal with. I appreciated his sense of humor, candor, transparency in discussing the options and the process. It made me feel valued, respected and involved in the process. I had a billing issue. After having several teeth pulled I gave my insurance card to the staff. It was too late to handle it. After several weeks of noticing I hadn't received the payment I called the dental office to check. Apparently it was decided that my insurance only paid for preventive dentistry and nothing was submitted to insurance. No one called to inform me. I was assured it would be handled. I was upset. I emailed and called several times being explained to how billing works. My call to my insurance company assured me that they do pay for extractions. Another call to the office and finally a staff person said because I ask them they would submit the claim. It was paid within the week. Being persistent was necessary. In the mean time I was paying interest on a credit card that could have been avoided if it had been submitted in a reasonable manner. I have been going to this dentist for some time and paid cash. Went in to Comfort Dental to have an exam and cleaning after hearing a lot of really great things from friends about their team. It had been three years since I'd seen a dentist, so I was nervous I'd have a bunch of problems. Dr. Smith and his assistant were so incredibly nice and took really good care of me. I did have one cavity and it was honestly the most comfortable filling I've ever had. My teeth are now squeaky clean and polished as can be. I'll definitely be coming back to Comfort Dental in the future. read more

I enjoyed Dr. Smith's personality, humor, and confidence. The entire staff was very nice. Cleanings were fine (other than this was the first dentist I had been to that didn't do any periodontal charting). However, when I had to get the first crown of my life, it became quite an experience. Not only did the first crown not fit properly, neither did the second redo, nor the third. Ultimately it was a waste of money, both for the bargain $600 crown (guess I got what I paid for) and the lab night guards that never fit after continuously being redone (another $300). I just couldn't fathom a fourth try with the same dentist so it ended up being another $1500 to get the crown done right. Maybe not the place for crowns... read more

Dr Smith was and is a fantastic dentist. He was gentle when my wife had to have teeth pulled. The staff is friendly and helpful and assisted us in filling out the forms for financing. There is one concern I have. My wife called today to see about seeing him because it appears she has an infection in the extraction area and was told the quickest would be 2 days away. 2 days to get a prescription for antibiotics while she is in pain is not proper, in my mind. The care and professionalism shown by the staff and Dr. is wonderful, just unhappy with the 48 hours for appointment to get Rx for antibiotic to help with the possible infection. is it good medical care to make someone wait 2 days while in pain? I highly recommend this dentist, just wish the follow up was handled better. So for the next 2 days I get to see her in pain and in discomfort. Ray M. read more

My boyfriend was in a lot of pain, scheduled an emergency root canal to which Comfort Dental Camas only finished part of the root canal leaving him in pain a week later without letting us know they didn't do the full root canal because they wanted more money. Now they want to schedule him for September for an emergency to finish the root canal although they are aware of his infection after the procedure. read more

I wish I could give Comfort Dental more than 5 stars!!! This HAS to be the friendliest dental office I have ever visited !! The receptionists are always friendly and welcoming -- the billing office gal helped me with an insurance plan that was not "so great" and offered helpful information re: a "better" way to pay for my service -- The KINDNESS of everyone at this office is amazing! Alli (not sure I'm spelling that correctly) was SO gentle during the exam and again during the actual service provided -- I was quite embarrassed as I had not been to the dentist in a LONG time (and I have an irrational fear of the dentist as well!) -- Alli was SO supportive and NON-judgmental in addressing my situation -- and her upbeat and humorous manner had me LAUGHING during the procedure!!! Dr. Nahboe (sorry about the spelling!) was gentle and patient -- very friendly and not prone to "suggesting" lots of "extra work" -- I love her cautious approach and willingness to 'wait and see' (since my budget is beyond small)!! -- The folks at Comfort Dental are completely professional -- they explain EVERY procedure BEFORE the work begins -- this really put me at ease!! I knew the EXACT cost of each procedure BEFORE the work was done -- they even helped w/the Care Credit at 0% interest, which allowed me to get work done immediately!! I am so thankful for this dental office and their staff!!!! Amazing, wonderful, kind, caring and welcoming!!! I just moved from Seattle and had a freaky situation today. The sharp end of my partial got hooked into my lower cheek. It was like when you catch a fish the barb end hooks the fish. And ya, I was in pain. I walked into comfort dental and I was treated with kindness and compassion. And Dr Smith is amazing, he gave me a local anesthetic and out came the hook.
