Amazingly kind staff and dentists who don't pressure or judge. What they do make sure to do is thoroughly explain any procedure that your child needs done using their X-rays. They are also very accommodating to reasonable preferences and requests regarding treatment. Dr. Peter was a pleasure, and Sherry at the front desk is an absolute delight. It doesn't surprise me that VPD already has 5 stars! The hygienists were so wonderful and kind. Even in the world of pediatrics sometimes you don't know if you'll receive this kind of care. They also had some many things available for my son to play with. Video games, learning toys, race cars etc. They also let the kids pick some stickers and small prizes. Again, we've been going here for a few years now and I can not say how much I really appreciate this dentist office and especially Dr. Joe. My daughter had 2 fillings done and it was painless. We've actually moved around a lot to other states and visited other dentist offices, but believe me, no one can compare to this office. Such a fun environment for kids and adults alike. Staff is super friendly. Technicians are great and Dr. Joe is the sweetest dentist ever. He is SoOOOo patient and understanding. I highly recommend this office even if you live 2 hours away. Over the course of 26 years, my three children haven had their dental care with Dr Pete. He is very caring. My daughter, at 5 years old (24 years ago), needed her lower front baby teeth pulled because every time she talked they would fall forward and would need to be set back in place. She only wanted Dr Pete to pull them. We called the after hours phone to ask him what he'd like us to do and he very graciously met us at the office, pulled the teeth and sent us on our way. He was so kind and caring and realized that it was a stressful situation for a little one. From that moment on I decided we would always go to him. Now I have grandchildren and our family continues our dental care with the Lubisich family. Wonderful doctors, assistants and office staff. Highly recommended. read more

We love this office! We see Dr. Peter, who we met in the park one afternoon. It was fate, I tell ya! We've been loyal patients ever since! My daughter has two broken front teeth (thanks, asphalt!) and we had been told she'd need expensive surgery with general anesthesia to fix them, and that it couldn't be put off! Well, we got a second opinion with Dr. Peter, and after careful consideration, he told us we could "wait and see." We did that, and guess what, two years later, we're still "waiting and seeing" and her teeth are healthy and pain-free, and there's no harm done by avoiding such invasive surgery. Whew! I feel like he helped us dodge a bullet. We're hooked on these docs. Their office is super friendly and inviting, the front desk staff is very patient when we're running behind, and the waiting rooms are always full of fun things for the kids to do. They specialize in preventing dental nervousness in children. I truly appreciate the level of respect with which they treat my children. We're big fans! (I should add that we're hesitant to fix my daughter's broken teeth because, we'd rather avoid spending a great deal of stress to fix baby teeth, only to have them fall out in another year or two!) read more

I drive from Dundee to Vancouver (over an hour) because this is the BEST pediatric dentist I have found (and I have nine children so I have had the chance to experience many dentists). They are very experienced with high anxiety kids (little AND big). My 17 year old still comes here! My 4 year old LOVES the dentist. We absolutely love Dr. Joe.!!!!! Our daughter had to have a tooth pulled 3 years ago with a different dentist in CA. She was 7 and it was an extremely frightening experience for her. She feared going to the dentist, even for a check up. She has been seeing Dr. Joe for about a year and they have been amazing and have taken extra care to make our daughter feel comfortable. She unfortunately had an infection in one of her baby teeth and pretty much knew it needed to be pulled. We went to Dr. Joe and they were cautious and again made her feel comfortable. Long story short, it needed to be pulled so they told her they were going to wiggle it to see if it was ready to come out. It was pulled out and our daughter didn't even feel a thing, not even the shot to numb her mouth! On the way home I asked her if she would be ok if she ever had to have another tooth pulled. She said only if Dr. Joe does it. I can't thank them enough for taking her fear away of the dentist! read more

I was excited to see Dr. L is still going strong. I went to see him from when I was 3 and has made such an impact on my teeth. To this day I'm complimented on my smile and I'm in my 30's. He knew what teeth were problematic and I ended up having 8 pulled. I must have been one of his rarer cases because my teeth were very challenging. I remember he kept a mold of my teeth behind as a model to his patients on what not to do. He's extremely skilled and trust worthy and I still have fond memories of the treasure chest of goodies after the check up. I just hope he's well. I wish I could take my daughter to see h but we moved out of state. Still my favorite dentist to date. read more

It's been hard finding a dentist after we relocated when we compare them to Dr. Pete and Dr. Joe. Honestly, they are so gentle, calm and kind with the kids and us too! Especially when we took our first child there who had some issues ( something happened during development to her baby teeth so they had to get restored, an anesthesiologist from Seattle came down, and Dr. Pete did a beautiful job and was the sweetest reassuring us during the process. Even her new dentist had no idea she had work on them until I told him!). My husband went there 30yrs ago and now our sons go there! I searched and searched to find a place for our 3yr old son to get some pretty extensive dental work done including teeth pulled and root canals! I was blessed to find such a great place and so thankful for DR JOE for taking the time to help our son and now 9yrs later our son still loves to go see DR JOE and my other son sees DR PETE and we love him to! Our 10 year old son just had 2 teeth extracted by Dr. Joe.  He has had a very difficult time at the dentist due to anxiety issues.  Multiple procedures had to be stopped halfway through because he couldn't handle it.  Dr. Joe and the staff at this office are absolutely incredible.  We will never take our children anywhere else.  5 stars is not enough.  Exemplary!  So very appreciative of Dr. Joe and everyone at Vancouver Pediatric Dentistry. read more

We went for our son's first visit and loved this office. The front desk was really polite and professional. The office looks super nice and tidy. Everything is adjusted to kids' needs and comfort. They have a ton of toys for every ages to play with and make kids relax. The doctor (dr.Joe) who saw our boy seemed knowledgeble and opened to any queation we might have.
