We were driving here for a cleaning this morning and my son exclaimed "Mom, if this is just a joke and we're not really going to the dentist right now I will be SO MAD." Who really says it on the way to the dentist? Kids who come here, that who. Both dentists are amazing and fantastic with kids of all times. Their dental hygienist and assistants are incredibly friendly, and I am always consistently impressed with how well they interact with my, and other, children. The office is fun, super colorful, with TVs on the ceilings for kids to watch while in the chair- brilliant!!! They've adapted well to COVID with dividers and separate mini rooms in both the waiting room and within the dental office itself In a way that makes it feel safe but still very fun and welcoming. I just can't say enough good things about this place.

My daughter's happy with lovely teeth and got temporary tattoo.

My daughter love there for first time and impressed know how handle with my toddler 2 1/2 age.

Such a fun waiting area with things for the kids to do!

LOVE my smile!!! I…read moream sooooo HAPPY with my smile!!! Thank you Dr. Robert Croft for realigning my teeth. I had braces in junior high school (1975 to 1977). But back then, my orthodontist at the time tried something relatively new at the time, a positioner (black rubber mold to put my teeth into), instead of a retainer, after my teeth were aligned (20 months). I had the traditional metal band braces back then. Wore the head gear. And so on. I lost that positioner several years ago. And, after having wisdom teeth erupt in adulthood, my teeth became misaligned, with small gaps, and one tooth hiding slightly behind another tooth. I am fascinated by straight, white teeth. As an mature adult, I finally decided to fix my smile. Much to my amazement, it took only six months to realign my teeth. I opted for the Sure Smile clear aligners. I am OVERJOYED at the results!! Dr. Croft even has finishing touches he will do, to make my smile PERFECT. Here's my smile nowadays, which looks pretty darn good already. This time around, I won't lose my retainers. I found Dr. Croft's "Columbia Orthodontics" add in the neighborhood magazine that's delivered to our home in Felida. I love that the office takes 4:30pm appointments, so that I don't have to take more time off of work. PLUS I love that their office is located only 15 minutes (in Salmon Creek). If you want to have a HAPPY SMILE, make an appointment for a complimentary consultation. Tell them that you read my comments on Yelp. You can even show them my profile pic. As a grandma of 3, mom of 3 kids in their 30's, and wife of a military veteran (been married 40 years so far), it's never too late for beautiful teeth! CHEERS to Dr. Croft and his wonderful assistants and office staff!

Dr. Croft repaired the retainer and did not charge for it. Wait. I just fainted. We had called around and one office wanted $300 no matter what, just to be seen. My son was seen the next day by Dr. Croft who was friendly and helpful regarding fit. We had no expectation that the visit would be complimentary. He just asked that we think of him for any future services. Who else would we go to after this POSITIVE experience?

They provided unparalleled support during my time before, during and after needing to wear braces with the ultimate goal of not only straightening my teeth but also undergoing maxillofacial surgery with the Skyline Oral Facial and Dental Implant Surgery team. My oral surgery included a sagittal split osteotomy w/fix, a Lefort I w/BG 3-piece, an Osteotomy w/genioglossus Adv and an Impact, and a Complete Bony -1, and Dr. Baker and his team did a fantastic job of prepping me for the surgery and helping to get my teeth as aligned as possible both before and after the procedure. Dr. Baker and his team were extremely helpful, attentive and they were flexible when it came to scheduling. I was seen by several of the staff there and everyone, from the Dr. Baker to the certified orthodontic dental assistants, clinical care coordinators, receptionists/front office staff as well as their financial administrators were all helpful, professional and courteous at every turn. I ended up wearing braces for a total of 26 months, and for part of the duration also needed to wear rubberbands. At every adjustment and progress analysis session Dr. Baker let me know how things were looking and how my progress was going, and he did a great job of explaining how our teeth, ligaments and muscles adjust, transition and move over time in the mouth. When I was eventually ready to remove my braces post-maxillofacial surgery, Baker Orthodontics had custom upper and lower retainers fabricated for me, and after three months of wearing them 24/7 (except when consuming food or beverages) I was able to "graduate" to night-time only use of the retainers. If you are in the market for braces or any other orthodontic needs I would highly recommend Baker Orthodontics, with convenient locations in both Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA. Lastly I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Dr. Baker and his team for all of their care, attention to detail, professionalism, knowledge/expertise and exceptional customer service. You really do feel like family when you are there, and they maintained that level of care day in and day out for 30+ months. Thanks again to all of you who worked with me. You are changing lives for the better in ways that you maybe can't even imagine. Thank you for all your support throughout my orthodontic journey and beyond!

I have recently become a dental assistant and work in an amazing office with caring and competent dentists. It was at my own place of employment that I learned from a Invisalign rep. that not only was my treatment never finished but I was also charged the most money an office can charge for the product. I was left with an overbite and front tooth still turned out. I was never given a final retainer but instead sent home with cheap, thin, 22 Invisalign trays ( That's supposed to last my lifetime ) that had been adjusted to still accommodate a rubber band ( Because my treatment was not finished ) . When I confronted Gretchen's office with this information they stated they would not help me but would refund me $2,154 of $7,500 I payed so my office could fix THEIR issue. They wanted to put it on the office I work at now instead of acknowledging they did not finish treatment and they never gave me what i rightfully paid for which is the final retainer. When you buy the Invisalign product you buy the whole package. Trays and retainer in all . Gretchen charges you twice for something you already bought when it comes to upselling you on the Vivera retainers. Gretchen would rather pocket 200 dollars ( that is all she is saving! ) when she screws over her Pt end of treatment care. I would have NEVER known my TMJ issues are from unfinished treatment or that I even NEEDED a retainer. I was made to believe the Invisalign trays were enough and that my treatment was finished. I cried when the doctors and Invisalign rep didn't believe me when I was stating I was not in active treatment anymore and that I was finished back in 2019. I have along road ahead of me to fix the issues created from the lack of treatment I received from Gretchen and the staff this office. I have reached out to the better business bureau and other avenues as well. I am not the only Pt she has left untreated and leaving Pt's paying for something they never received. Especially when her main cliental is kids. She setting kids up to fail when it comes to their oral health and that is devastating and she is over charging parents at the same time. And the assistance who do most the work are not specially trained. They make a little over minimum wage and do not need any special dental training at all. You can get better finished treatment for a lot less, anywhere else. Do your research! & IF YOU think you could be a victim of unfinished treatment please reach out to me @ faerie_sarah@yahoo.com

The overall nuance of the place reminded me of my stay at the Howard-Johnson Hotel on the Disney strip in Anaheim, CA (it was a great experience). Since I was able to obtain my x-rays from the previous dental office, Oasis only required one more x-ray to get a different view of a bothersome tooth. It was a quick trip in & out, but I've never in my 40+ years of life been treated with such consideration in a dental office. I made the entire staff aware that I have anxiety, & they treated me with care w/o being patronizing. In my experience that's rare in most professional settings. I was referred to a specialist because of the extenuating circumstances, & Oasis isn't equipped for surgical procedures. I recommend Oasis, & I've decided that these folks are going to be stuck w/me as a patient for a very long time.

I explained to the hygienist that I am a redhead and that local anesthetic often does not work well for me. That has been true since childhood. If extra time is not built in and numbness is not confirmed, scaling is extremely painful, which is why I have a long-standing aversion to dental care. I used a blunt, sarcastic comment about preferring to lose my teeth rather than go through that again. I was not refusing treatment. I was asking to be fully numb before they started. The hygienist left to discuss "options" and came back with a form stating I was refusing care and should find another dentist. There was no conversation about extra anesthetic, a longer wait, or the sedation this office advertises. I called manager Marlise Montgomery after I got home. I told her I was looking for reassurance that I would be numbed properly, not a new dentist. She said I was not a good fit, told me that as a healthcare provider I should know better than to delay treatment for periodontal disease, and suggested sleep dentistry. She offered to call back after she looked into it. The conversation had already made the outcome clear, so I declined. I was not interested in hearing the same message three times. The manager was correct: I work in healthcare. That does not exempt me from pain or anxiety. It does not mean a patient who asks to be numb is refusing care, and I should not have been shamed for my experiences. I was willing to stay and complete the treatment if I felt heard. Instead the visit ended with a dismissal form. This could have been resolved by a hygienist with an ounce of kindness or grace. That is a shame, because my previous hygienist -- who is on maternity leave -- was aware of my sensitivities and was always careful, took her time, and made me feel appropriately cared for. Most importantly, I trusted her and appreciated her. If she had been there today, I believe the outcome would have been different. Up until today I liked Oasis Dental and intended to stay with them.

I had a bad bite, but my teeth were pretty straight. My bite was a problem, but I didn't understand why I had to have my jaw broken, or why no one would at least start with braces and then see if we actually needed to do more. There was no way I was ever going to do that, so I felt like I was stuck with a bad bite forever. Dr. Irwin asked me what I wanted to accomplish when I met him. I told him I was not concerned with looking perfect, I wanted to improve the function of my teeth and better protect them and improve my oral health. He actually listened and told me that we could correct my bite by 80-90% with braces. He said if I did want complete perfection surgery would be necessary, but he would not recommend that route for me anyway. Upon hearing his response, I told him I was all in. He was the first orthodontist out of six to really listen to me. He was the very first one that seemed to actually care about helping me and making the best recommendation for me vs himself, which is the way the rest of the industry seems to operate. My braces came off a year ago, and I could not be happier with the results. I can eat food normally and my teeth look as though they're 100% perfect. I can't recommend Dr. Irwin and his team enough.
