Dr. Bennett and staff are working in an efficient and safe manner that shows self assurance. I'm sold.

    How much the crown?

Thanks for asking! Since there are different types of crowns, and various ways to pay, as well as different types of insurance plans, that would be best answered if you give us a call during office hours at 360-576-3570, and we will be happy to… Read more

It's been a few years since our insurance billing issues, so I thought I should update my review…read more We haven't had any more issues with them billing our insurance since then. They have dropped some coverage with certain insurance companies, but luckily ours wasn't one of them. They have also had a lot of dental hygienist turnover the last couple of years, but they seem to have a full staff again currently. That's been tough for us because we had been spoiled with having the same hygienist for years and got to know them, which added extra comfort to an otherwise stressful experience. I've never enjoyed going to the dentist, but seeing a familiar face had helped ease my anxiety. We love the relaxing spa vibes in this office. It feels clean and comfortable, but not overly clinical like some dentist offices. They offer beverages in the waiting room, which also has a couch and fireplace, making for a cozy environment. We also appreciate that they can make a crown while you wait and watch a Netflix movie. It's nice not have to wait a week for a third party to make the crown and leave the dentist office with a temporary. The in-house crowns we're not something we've experienced before, so that's a huge plus! Overall this is an exceptional dentist office. They have a nice relaxing environment and have the capabilities of performing most dental services in-house. We would highly recommend.

VERDICT: 100% faithfully recommended. Please show up 30…read moremin early if you come from Portland due to traffic. WORTH IT. DETAILED REVIEW of Experience: I have had to have major work done here. And they are handling everything. But the big thing is? The staff. The cleaning that I received was the most thoughtful and attentive I have ever had. I did not once feel like my mouth was filling with Saliva or water, and the Nurse / Doc was like a mind reader. I mean it when I say that as far as I can recall, I have never had a cleaning or work done is such a way that they paid so much attention to my comfort in the chair. I am DEATHLY scared of dentists & Docs. And I can feel when people are not very nice or care. These people do. From front staff to everyone I have met in the dental clinic or interacted with. Its like a small town feel if you know what I mean. And folks, if I remember something like this and bother to write a review, it means something. Because I don't like dentists. I don't like going TO the dentists. I don't even like going to the Doctor. But I don't even get any hesitation going here. The place is Nice. The Waiting room is welcoming. The HVAC is perfect. The music is calming without seeming boisterous. The Paper work was easy too. And they do work with Tri Care & Va Community health. Without hesitation, Highly recommended. And there are lots of places in the area to shop and get something to drink as well in the area a short and pleasurable walk away. In the waiting room they have a great selection of magazines as well (Pictured) and even Kleenex for those with hay fever. The doc really thought of everything. Its like the Nordstroms of Dentists IMO. And they are very gentle and care about your comfort. The Rooms all have a nice view and are easy to get around in. The place is also EXTREMELY CLEAN! You can't even find any dust there. Not kidding. I can't tell you that much about the services as I have to get them all done. But boy are they proactive. They do everything they can to remind you of your appointments and even call you. This is so welcomed today as its so much better then an automated call. But they do those as well if you prefer! I have severe memory and cognative issues, and they have no problem taking care of me. They understand and are very cool about it. Love the front desk staff and everyone I have interacted with. I know this sounds like fluff, but its true. I don't have anything bad to say about them. The only thing I would add is a water cooler in the waiting area. That's about it. And i'm reaching here. (There is a black rock, a Tea place, and coffee places as well as a Juice bar and Jamba juice close by! :-) Like I said. I really love going here. And I DO NOT LIKE going to the DENTISTS! That should say something. Take care. You are in good hands.

I can not recommend this dental office. I skipped a cleaning a year ago and when I was in the…read moremiddle of moving my home. When I returned for my next due cleaning, the hygienist told me she could only clean 1/4th of my teeth due to periodontal disease and that i would need another appointment to complete the cleaning. Feeling a bit embarrassed for missing my regular schedule, I agreed. She then spent 30 minutes capturing the depth of my gum pockets because her aide was not well trained and could not record the measurements on her own. The dentist came and looked at my teeth and said I had a cavity to be filled and would need to come back for that as well. Total time in office including dental exam and cleaning 1/4th of my teeth - 1 hour. I came back for the filling which was done very efficiently (hence reason for not giving this business a "1" ).The hygienist then spent 30 minutes cleaning the rest of my mouth. Total charge for the cleaning and 15 minute cavity = $770! I made an appointment for my next cleaning and confirmed that these would now be standard teeth cleaning. When I moved my appointment back a couple weeks I confirmed - standard cleaning. When I returned for my "standard cleaning", I confirmed with the hygienist that this was a standard cleaning . She replied that it was periodontal maintenance and that once I had "periodontal disease" I could no longer have preventative maintenance and would now need periodontal maintenance which cost $150 using the Cigna Savings Plan, while standard cleaning was $90. I told her that I had confirmed that this would be a standard cleaning and that I was prepared to pay the $90 but felt I had been ripped off on the last 2 visits and would go elsewhere if they would not agree. She said that was my choice and I left without the service. I never questioned the additional appt but feel like I was totally taken for a ride paying $770 for 15 minutes of the dentists time and 105 minutes of the hygienist. This reminds me of when so many dentists were pushing the teeth grinding mouth guards. Now the periodontal disease is the latest over charging practice that is way out of line for the minimal increase in time that they spend. By the way, in my lifetime I have had gum gaps of mostly 2-3 with a couple of 4's. This hygienist recorded 4-5 all around my mouth and reported bleeding everywhere ( I have zero blood when I brush and floss). The dentist did a great job, but it seems their practice depends upon over charging for the basics.

Overall I don't recommend this place. Mainly because in the two years I went here I had two…read morenegative instances. First was the front desk scheduled me for a cleaning at the end of December (after I already had my two insurance approved cleanings that year). They're supposed to keep track of that stuff and let you know if this visit will need to be out of pocket or not, which if I had known I already had my two cleanings for the year, I would've gladly waited a few weeks till the new year for my next cleaning. Well they let me do it and then tried to charge me for it, but thankfully they realized it was their mistake and they didn't make me pay. But shortly after another mishap happened. This time they had referred me out to another office to go get X-rays on my wisdom teeth, which counted towards my insurance as a "oral examination". Nobody told me this and that it would take away from my next cleaning. So when I went to get my second cleaning for the year, they did it. But didn't inform me beforehand that it wouldn't be covered by my insurance.. they hit me with a bill and they said I had been seen elsewhere. After bunches of phone calls I figured out it's because the X-rays I had at the other place. I told them this is the second time they've not informed me beforehand about me being responsible for the bill, because again I would've waited had I known so I wouldn't have to pay out of pocket. This time they told me they would not take care of it, and I was liable for it or they'd send it to collections. The cleanings themselves were always good, the dentist was nice. I just can't recommend going here when the front desk is always messing up scheduling and costing you money unnecessarily, and not taking accountability for it either. They should be more diligent and inform customers beforehand if there will be charges out of pocket. I won't be back.
