    Biryani Bowl, samosa Channa Chaat

Tosso has a typical pakistani food menu and we have been going here for a while. A lot parking spaces and other eateries nearby. The interior is of a Dhaba style but looks clean and good. We ordered biryani, chaat and samosas. Biryani was spicy and reminded me of London, so that's a good thing! In addition the samosas and chaat was crisp and delicious. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is the European size of portion. Too small otherwise good place to grab a traditionally paki food. Service was also good and they delivered fast.

Stale food Worst service Dirty utensils Tea like water Rude staff There was a time this place was really good in term of fresh food and specially Nihari But now among worst restaurants in Northern Virginia Most of the the good reviews are either paid or from past

Toosso has evolved into this place with a limited food menu and that is great because I can see the amount of focus they put on their food and it is the true Pakistani flavors that this place has to offer that you don't necessarily find anywhere. I took my friend's family to Toosso and ordered Biryani, Kofta Curry, Chicken Tikka, Dahi baray, pakoray. Everything was beyond amazing and rightfully spiced. Everyone enjoyed their food so much. For desserts we had faluda and mango kulfi. My friend and his daughter loved both things. They were really happy with the food. So, mission accomplished. Last but not least chai was amazing and it hit all the right spots. Will come again for both breakfast and to try the bun kebab as well.

It's okay. If you're craving Pakistani food and in the area, proceed with caution. They used to be so much better.

Left this much and rushed home to throw up.

We went today and we're excited but the chole (chickpeas) were stale and smelled bad. Somehow we eat few spoon and rushed home to throw up. Left the food and did not complaint to the management as the person behind counter did not take complaint seriously. Hope we don't get food poisoning now. The quality has been gone down and we will never go back to this place. I normally never write so bad reviews but this was bad experience.

Love their weekend brunch especially the nihari. Bun kebab and falooda are also good. Totally reminds of canteen food in Pakistan. I wish they had more options for kids though. Even the malai chicken roll is too spicy for my daughter. The decor is pretty cool as well. The have bottle caps and Kites on their walls. Definitely a fun place to check out.

I only came here for dessert because my friend said the dessert here is amazing! I'm not sure the name since she ordered but it's basically ice cream with jello bits, chia seeds, some white stringy thing? It was delicious nonetheless but it's also pink? So I'm not entirely sure if it's pink because of the red syrup at the bottom and because the ice cream is some rose milk concoction? Regardless super yummy! I'll want to come back and try other things on the menu The only downside is it took them forever to get us our ice cream. People who ordered meals after us got their order before we did.

Wow, all I can say is Wow!!! Fine, I admit it, I'm impatient and somewhat of a food brat. I've left Toosoo a 2 star review a few years ago. My mom begged me to go there again. And I'm always ready to make a mediocre experience into a memorable one. Ya, people will tell you their faloodas(desi ice cream sort of thing) is the shi*. Or you have to try their bun kabob etc etc etc. What made me love Toosoo this time is their Nihari. It was yummilicious. I hardly ever eat Nihari and its offered only on their weekend special. So make sure to try it on a weekend. They are crazy busy and a small restaurant with first comes first serve basis. This past trip when I went to VA, I ended up going to this restaurant twice. Both times they hit it out of the ball park and into my tummy with their flavorful food. Also, another difference I encountered was a great addition to them was their customer service. I want to acknowledge their employee he recently started working there a few months back, I believe his name was Ali. He is not related to the owner's family but he cleaned tables, got our ordered placed right, brought food to us in a great manner. He was fast, efficient and smiling throughout. All in all, Toossoo, it took a while for me to change my mind but your not soo soo. Toossoo your a fusion inspired Pakistani restaurant with a great concept and a greater tasting foodie place.~

We ordered the hummus and pita, which were excellent. The hummus was incredibly creamy and smooth--one of two the most memorable I've had--and the pita was full of flavor and extremely soft. I ordered the Chapli Kabab Burger, which was just okay for me. It comes with two patties, making it a bit too heavy, and while it had some spice, it lacked depth of flavor and had more jam than I preferred. The Brussels sprouts were heaven sent, and the hookah was very smooth. Service was good--nothing standout, but nothing negative either. A DJ came on later in the night, which added to the atmosphere and made it lively and allowing us to talk comfortably. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely go back.

They also had lively music playing in the background. Overall, we had such a wonderful experience! Highly recommend this place for the service, atmosphere, and excellent Mediterranean fare! The menu has a variety of items such as burritos, wraps, and rice platter but the focus of every item is either the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma or falafel. You really can't go wrong with any of their protein options because everything is freshly prepared and offers generous portions. We got the beef wrap which is really a mix of beef and lamb which is exactly what I wanted. It should be noted that the wrap is cut into 7-8 pieces rather than one long wrap is interesting because it makes it harder to eat. Everytbing basically falls apart after the first bite of each piece. I'd recommend getting the full wrap but not cut. It was packed with flavor and fillings so it more than made up for it. Do yourself a favor and get the spicy version. It's not crazy spicy and gives the entree another depth of flavor. I'll definitely be back again to try the other options.

I am a flavor fanatic and need things to be flavor packed and generally in the past, I've had many shawarmas lacking seasoning, toppings, or sauces. HOWEVER, the chicken shawarma here is nicely seasoned with plenty of toppings, sauces, and extra toum/garlic sauce on the side. I never get fries, but even their fries are well seasoned and tasty even when dipped in the garlic sauce! Affordable, filling, big portion, quick service, authentic, well seasoned, and good ingredients- what more can you ask? I'm glad I gave this place a try and will definitely come back when in the area!

I'm a local customer and live just a minute away, so I've visited more than once. I came in for lunch today with my wife and our 1.5-year-old son. After placing our order and sitting down, the server loudly yelled from behind the counter for us to come get our water. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially with a young child. When I placed my order, I asked for extra white sauce, and I asked again when the food came out. Both times, the request was ignored. I also mentioned that we hadn't received our drinks, but instead of addressing it, the server again yelled for us to get the drinks ourselves from the cooler. The food itself was okay, but the bread was very poor--hard and barely edible. I even called the restaurant later in the evening to share my concerns, but was told the server was off at that time. Overall, very disappointing experience, mainly due to the customer service. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvement.
