I love Pakistani food and I'm always seeking good, authentic Pakistani eats, but they're very hard to find. I came here one evening to try their chicken Seekh kabob and it was excellent! The perfect mixture of spices, flavor, and heat. I also got a side of chick peas and like the kabob, they were great too! Since I was trying to eat somewhat healthy, I got a small salad and it was nicely made, with fresh veggies. Their mint yogurt chutney was bland and basic and far from anything I'm familiar with, so that was a bust. And the customer service from the guy they had running the cashier was pretty bad too. I noticed that around the time I was leaving a different guy came up who spoke better English and was friendlier and I saw his interaction with guests, which was so much better than the first guy's. My first time visiting this spot after passing by it many times the past couple years. It was a spontaneous visit. The menu items all looked and sounded delish. I ended up getting the samosa chaat. It was very tasty, I was able to finish the entire thing in one serving. There was a lot of tomato on there though, so I would probably order with less or no tomato next time. We also ordered the samosa and chaat papri, which were also a hit. The entrance was next to Champs Pizza, with either stairs or elevator available. The steps were nicely decorated. The interior is very nicely decorated, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I'd be curious to check out the place at night and sit outside. The karahi was mostly onions with only a few small pieces of chicken -- it didn't even feel like real karahi. The paratha burger was very small and overpriced. You will not believe that first bite made me almost throw up, it smelled like dead animal. Two very small size kabob and made of black rotten mixture of something. I wanted to ask the owner to taste this while I watch but than I walked out because I did not want to mess up my mood. To the owner I want to say this, you can put all technology in place but after all this the most important thing matter is the food. Great stuff!!! The hotel next door recommended Chaska. They did me a huge favor! The beef seekh kabob was so good, spicy but not too much. All the accompaniments tasted like home cooking - fresh hot naan, rice (this was delicious, really tasted like home cooked!) and salad and a lentil dish which was also hearty and delish. We ordered the samosa chaat as an appetizer, but it was extremely disappointing. The flavors were off, and the channay tasted overwhelmingly like black pepper -- completely unbalanced. For our mains, we got the whole chicken charga and lamb tikka, but both had a strong, unpleasant smell, suggesting they were made with old, frozen meat. The chicken was especially bad -- it was completely inedible. We ended up leaving all the food untouched and didn't even bother asking for a refund because the experience was that poor. Honestly, really enjoyed everything we ate. The place is neat and the idea is nice. When we went they had newly openned up, and the service was a bit slow. All staff members were in the kitchen most of the time and no one at the counter. It can also use some warmth and the feel was more of a mall court. This new spot is located right above Champs Pizza and is a great addition to the neighborhood. I believe it's the same owner as Champs too. This place had originally caught my attention because as I was driving by, I saw string lights along their rooftop patio area where you can sit outside to eat and socialize. I wasn't too familiar with Pakistani street foods so went here with little to no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it! I ordered Combo #1 (chicken Tikka and Beef Seekh) as well as the Samosa Chat and the Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll. The absolute standout for me was the paratha roll. It's full of flavor and was cooked well. I wasn't overly impressed by the combo and wouldn't order that again. I also enjoyed the Samosa Chat, but that's better to eat first since it can get soggy once all the sauces get soaked into the samosa. Then when ask for a refund it took two people almost 15 mins to process the refund because they didn't know how to use the register. Upon checking the order at home , I found that the chicken tikka platter was missing the salad and all the food was mixed up, while the chicken seekh kabob platter was missing naan, chickpeas, salad, and rice. When I contacted the restaurant to report the issue, they instructed me to return to the restaurant to resolve the problem. I had to drive back to the restaurant and wait for approximately 10 minutes, after which they provided only the missing items without any compensation for the inconvenience. I was disappointed with the poor quality check process at the restaurant, which caused me to drive back and forth for a single order. By the time I came home after second trip to restaurant, the kebob were already cold. The customer service was also unsatisfactory, and despite the good quality of the food, the service ruined my overall experience. Therefore, I rate this restaurant one star for this experience. In my opinion, there is ample room for improvement in customer experience, particularly when the restaurant is at fault, and orders are placed directly through their website rather than third-party delivery platforms such as Grubhub or Uber Eats. Quality check and good customer experience and service is of utmost importance in restaurant business. If you guys make a mistake, you need to correct it by providing the compensation for the customer for the inconvenience.
