    Paneer grill sandwich

The atmosphere was ok but the staff was friendly. I got the paneer grill sandwich which was very flavorful. It came with chips, but it tasted a bit stale. The Desi chai had a nice strong chai flavor and not too sweet. I would come back to try the other food.

I can't say enough good things about Chai Wyy! The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. Having traveled to Mumbai, I've been looking for Indian cuisine that tastes similar and Chai Wyy absolutely nails it. The Chicken Tikka Masala was rich and flavorful, and the samosas were perfectly crispy and delicious. This place is a gem for anyone craving genuine Indian food in the area. I'll definitely be coming back anytime I am visiting Reston.

I didn't know now Yelp force you to review if you just wanna upload photos... Well, to be fair I only gotten their Desi Chai and Mango Lassi which is great, but I haven't had their food so my review is not that useful right now... If I come for food I'll update my review.

The exterior has another name posted so it can be confusing. The decor is minimal and could be described as "hole in the wall". The cashier was helpful in selecting our meal. The sandwiches are all rather small for the price point but the meal combo is a good value. Everything was tasty as well seasoned. We also ordered mango lassi which was also good. I'd add a star to this review if the Frankie's were more generous or came with a beverage or side salad for the price point.

Bombay veg potato grill sandwich and Desi chai

Chai Wvy is a newly opened restaurant and hidden gem that offers authentic Indian street food flavors. The Bombay sandwich is a must-try, and the freshly brewed chai flavored with ginger is very refreshing. The service is also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who are happy to make recommendations. I highly recommend checking it out!

Chai Wyy lives up to its name. As someone who has lived in India, I can say they have a great selection of street food. Do not forget to get the pani puri with friends or family. It's a classic experience. Also would recommend trying their chai. Sandwiches are great if you've worked up quite an appetite. But if you're less hungry I'd recommend going for a Frankie. But definitely don't miss out on the chaats like the aloo tikki chaat. Staff was also extremely friendly. This restaurant is a family favorite

Had a delicious brunch in this new gem yesterday. We had the Paneer Frankie, Samosa Grill Sandwich, and Bombay Veg Potato Grill Sandwich. They all tasted great and you can't go wrong with any of them. Also had the desi chi which was perfectly spiced and mango lassi which my daughter loved! Will be back to try more items on their menu. Also worth mentioning is that we received great service from Gary and his family! Support your local family run businesses!!

Wondering why Chai Wyy hardly has any reviews? The place opened very recently. Come one, come all! Afraid of unfamiliar parking situations? Fear not. Chai Wyy is located in Sunset Business Park, meaning there's plenty of free parking to go around! Nostalgic for chai? Feeling snacky? Feeling mooore than snacky? Chai Wyy has it all. Mix and match chaat, street sandwiches, frankies, and desserts to create the tea/snack/meal for your mood. The only thing I'd recommend is to add Masala Chai to the menu (the Desi Chai is divine but tastes more like Elaichi Chai than Masala Chai). Friendly service, quality food, plenty of seating. Run, don't walk!

Just came here for the first time today (had been coming to this location for years under the previous owner). Excellent food! Tried the Pav Bhaji, Chicken Frankie and Dahi Bhala, all were excellent! Highly recommend!

Either way, the Fairfax Fair is the start of many, many blissful summer memories. A few of mine include: 1) The time I volunteered for a major sponsor of the event to dress up as the Cow from Cartoon Network's "Cow & Chicken". All of these little kids tried to pull my udders and punch me in the eye (which was conveniently located through Cow's open mouth). 2) The time my best friend performed on the Budweiser stage with her hs sign language choir. It was like an awkward scene out of Napoleon Dynamite that I will cherish in my heart forever. Whatever your age, gender, race, or socio-economic class the Fairfax Fair has something for everyone. Juicy and tender, we tried 5 types, the beef birria, goat birria, chicken tinga, chicken+chorizo, and beef tinga. All equally great. Then Sopas chicken tinga, beer birria So fabulous too. Loved every single bite. Small place, very casual with several inside tables, more outside. Sat down for some, carryout for more. Carryout was well packaged- self serve some of the 3 sauces to go to try. Green is avocado/tomatillo mix, red is hotter/sharper, orange (kickin/creamy) good. Decent sized menu but not trying to do everything- smart move. Because everything they do they do extremely well. Before we even left, I said "If we lived here , I'd be coming here almost every week". It's that good. We're both retired chefs and cook at home constantly, but this was something special. Do Not Miss.
