    Monk fish tikka

Saahil soft opening - day 2! Thanks for having us. Very friendly service and nice ambiance. It was great trying some of their elevated Pakistani dishes. My fave was the monk fish tikka and the chicken yakhni soup was tasty. Looking forward to coming back for the mocktails. Great option for those who are N/A and on a halal diet.

We came all the way from Pennsylvania just to eat at Saahil -- and it was totally worth it! I'm Turkish and a huge fan of Pakistani food, and this was honestly one of the best experiences I've had. We were a big group, and we ordered almost all the main course and shared everything. Every single dish was packed with flavor and so delicious. My favorite dish was Karachi Nalli Nihari. The vibe was warm, the service was super friendly, and we felt right at home from the moment we walked in. We left full, happy, and already talking about our next visit. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

An Amazing experience, The 1st DMV fine dining Pakistani restaurant Love the Food, service and Ambiance. The Chef gave a unique touch to the Pakistani cuisine.

    Goat Karahi

Spacious restaurant in a quiet corner of a typical NoVa strip mall. Will say that service was excellent & efficient. Appetizer came out relatively fast after the complimentary tasting item. Entrees took longer but spacing was okay. We ordered both goat karahi and grilled shrimp. Karahi well prepared with only minor drawback was the amount of oil. Would not call grilled shrimp an 'entree' - on its own or even with a side, it felt more like an large appetizer. However, it was well cooked and seasoned. Dessert was lackluster - shahi tukray was quite solid and dry, as the milk base was replaced with an simple custard.

We came at 6pm on a Tuesday and there wasn't any rush. Service was okay. The food was okay also but wasn't as good as I expected coming from all the hype online. We orders the chicken biryani (4/10), beef nihari (7/10), dehi balla (3/10), samosa chaat(4/10), beef seekh Kabab (6/10), burns road tikka boti (7/10). Overall the food was okay, but not worth the price. Definitely wouldn't go back considering the price. The ambiance and presentation of were very good (8/10).

Saahil is a bold, thoughtful reimagining of Pakistani cuisine in Northern Virginia. It offers an inviting balance of cultural authenticity and fine‑dining polish--crafted by top culinary talent and presented in a warm, stylish setting. For those looking to explore the depth and nuance of Pakistani flavors in a refined atmosphere, Saahil delivers an experience to be remembered and fills a void in traditional desi dining. We will definitely be returning. Stand out dishes for us included the crispy okra chaat and jumbo scallops appetizers, as well as the shahi tukray dessert.

We catered recently from Saahil for an Iftar and the food was amazing. Every guest was asking me where the food was catered from. Every bit was DELICIOUS!!! My favorite was the goat biryani. I felt like I was eating my mom's home cooked biryani! Great job to the chefs! We also ordered dhai baray, chicken karahi, naan and okra. These items were amazingly delicious also. The spice level was perfect. We asked for mild spice and they implemented it perfectly. The Iftar came with dates which was very convenient. To top it they delivered everything on time and set it up for me. I will definitely be catering from Saahil in the near future inshAllah! Thank you to the Saahil team!

    Chicken Biryani

We went with high hopes because there has never been a fine dining Pakistani option in the DMV area. Service was bad, and it took a long time for our server to even get us the menu. No Nihari and chicken tikka on a Saturday is not what you want to tell your first few guests. We tried the daal, seekh kabab and chicken biryani. Daal and seekh kabab were below average, I mean how can you make a mediocre daal? The large serving of seekh kabab was 2 small kebabs, shocking. The chicken biryani was very dry and light on the spices, which was refreshing because restaurants usually don't do biryani well. Our bill had errors which had to be corrected twice. 21 % service charge was a bit surprising. We'll come back for Nihari and Chicken tikka and if it's any good then this review will be updated. Good luck with the venture, it's very nice but service needs to match your prices.

After ordering, we chose a table and sat down to wait for our food. We noticed that the table was sticky, but after checking several other tables we realized that they were all sticky - they didn't seem *dirty*, just sticky. The Zeera Aloo Roll and Channa Masala bowl came up first. The roll was ok - mostly just roti and very drippy sauce with a few potatoes. I enjoyed the flavor, just wished there was more filling. The Chana Masala was fine -- a bit bland and the bowl was 90% rice, but it was edible. When the Pakoras came out, it was mostly just onions and a couple of potato sticks. Not much flavor there either - I couldn't even really taste the onions, it all just tasted like oil. It did come with a small cup of raita, and that was good. We had no idea what to expect from the Dahi Baray since we'd never heard of it before -- it turned out to be a few little mushy balls of dough about the size of cherries, in a huge bowl of tangy yogurt sauce that was a little bit sweeter than the raita. I liked the sauce - I mixed some with the rice from the chana masala - but neither of us liked the dumplings at all. When we were done, I stopped in the restroom before we hit the road again. I found a fairly large, very dimly lit bathroom with a very wet floor, and while I was washing my hands the dim light went out all together leaving me in total darkness. When I emerged I grabbed some napkins to dry my hands, and my daughter decided that she would wait and use the restroom at thenearby gas station before we hit the road again. Overall not the worst dining experience I've had, but we won't be back.

Made me homesick lol. Had to wait about 20 mins for food which was fine, felt longer because I was hungry but the uncle did a phenomenal job, I'm pretty sure he's making everything fresh. The place is a bit chilly inside with the fans, the tables and seating are alright but the bathrooms are sparkling clean (with lotas). I'd get this place again but take it to go because I couldn't finish the half portion either. They have free ice water next to the cutlery, napkins etc so that was nice too. I took a singular bite into each item to perform quality assurance and was disappointed to find out the rice tasted like it hadn't been washed, the lamb smelled like it was alive, bread was cold and the chicken was average. Two options laid on the table, call it a lesson learned and eat the food and never go back or call the store and return the food. Since I hadn't had breakfast or lunch I went with option 2 and figured I'd pick some food from somewhere else. I returned to the restaurant and was pleased to find out that the owner had already processed the refund. Due to the customer service I felt like 3 stars was fair. If it was a review based on the food only it would be a 1 star again.
