The best Lowe's in their chain-- or at least the best one I've been to! I do occasionally visit…read moreother nearby Lowe's (Zephyrhills and Spring Hill in particular), and there's no comparison. In particular, if you need expert plumbing, electrical, flooring or painting advice, ask these guys. You'll get people that know what they're talking about and can get you pointed in the right direction. (These are very technical departments that require some experienced people, ideally with years of experience prior to coming to work for Lowe's-- and I've gotten to know several of their folks in each, who clearly have just that. Former electricians, plumbers, flooring installers and painters. Folks that know their stuff.) The hardware department I would grade as just an "ok to good" but certainly as good as other Lowe's I've been to, as is the building supplies and the garden departments. All in all these others are good departments, but not as good as those listed above. I have found that each of these departments has some associates that are great, some that are good... and some that are only good at telling you which aisle to find what you're looking for. But that's ok by me, since in those departments I usually already know what I need-- I just need someone to tell me where to find it.. I also like the attitude of the staff in the entire store-- very helpful, very friendly. Clearly the store manager knows how to hire the right people and how to motivate them. Here's a great tip- download the Lowe's ap for your smartphone. No kidding. Searches are a snap, and when you find what you're looking for, it will tell you EXACTLY where to find it. No kidding-- it will take you right to it. I stumbled across it about a year ago. Tip #2- if you've a veteran, you can sign up and get 10% off of all your purchases that are for your personal use. How cool is that? All in all, a great store. It's become my "go to" place for all things building materials, including shopping online and picking it up same day or the next day.

On Friday It comes with no attachments, driver said l should have purchased those at the store and he pulls out the old frig. And then says he can't remove it cause it has cooper tubing.they won't touch it !l should have been told that by the salesmen ( we had 2 sales people ) that l needed to hire an appliance/ plumber to install cause it's not their job.Hes just a subcontractor driver. Excellent staff, memorable experience…read more I went yesterday after talking with Kevin the night before, trying to match up a specific green-blue shade of paint that I was able to find a substitute for on Pinterest. I'm fairly inexperienced with paint (unless you count "Haze Gray Underway" days). I had got some estimates from painters in town and since I was only doing one accent wall, didn't know if one gallon of the paint would be enough (it is, and Kevin was very helpful and patient; he put the info in their computer under my name so all I had to do was stop by yesterday, and get it mixed, which was done in 10 minutes or less while I shopped for other household needs. Unlike many salespeople nowadays, these nice people (every staff member was great!) made me feel welcomed, helped me every step of the way, were fast and courteous, and very knowledgeable. I'm not a do-it-yourself-er, but perhaps after my experience here I can branch out and learn how to do more things that I'm new to. I don't like big box stores so a store this small, helpful with small checkout lines, and mellow local customers, didn't trigger anxiety the way a visit to any store usually does for me. They even welcomed my therapy dog, many of the children came up and petted him, and adults asked about him. Buddy was really in his element there with all the attention and he flopped on the floor to get belly rubs. So, doggo approved as well. Kudos to the young lady in the paint department who I also found helpful when picking out grade of sandpaper, and just generally friendly...I'll add her name in once I go back and find out. I remembered Kevin's name because I bought a grill as a Father's Day present for my husband last year, and Kevin assisted me with buying that online when they had a good sale, as well as delivered that and our American flag, which my husband really appreciated. The staff will even offer to help you carry your items out. I asked if they can accept tips, and they can (I wasn't sure, as Publix and some other local places don't let them). Make sure you get signed up for their rewards card, which can also be placed in virtual wallet or just looked up by phone number. We will definitely be back, even though it's not right in our area, it's not too far down on 50, on the left before you get to downtown Brooksville (if driving from Spring Hill).
