I'm not very happy with this Lowe's. They did not carry the most basic hardware I needed to hang curtains nor a simple cabinet hook. They only had 1 drill option under $40. Items like rags and cleaners were overpriced by $1+. Lowe's is clearly focused on Home Improvement projects like fancy gate brackets, fancy faucets, fancy mailboxes, fancy closets. I just wanted a saw that costs less than $15, which is why I am going next door to Walmart. I couldn't get the basic tools I need, but I added a star because most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Long wait in the check out lane

Good store but the guy in the paint section with glasses needs to learn manners when talking to customers.

The entire repair process was questionable. The washer was sold as 10 year major components 5…read moreyears full warranty. 4 years in it stops spinning at high speed. I called the warranty/ Maytag number and am told that since I didn't purchase the Lowes "extended" warranty I was out of luck! Excuse me, what part of 5 years parts & labor from Maytag (its the Commercial model) would have me buy a 3 year overlapping warranty. But, Mr Appliance sent a tech. He listened to it running for about two minutes, said "Ive never heard that sound before?" And tells me the motor is out, ran no codes or any troubleshooting? Came back in with the estimate of $768. To fix a washer UNDER WARRANTY. ($975. Washer, 4 years old.) They charged me $125 for the service call but we're "supposed" to deduct it from my final bill. Ended up costing me 570 More to have them fix it . He replaced a perfectly good motor (and took the old one with him, even when I asked for it to be left, since I bought it. He ended up using process of elimination to decide it was the plastic gear and he "happened" to have a spare... for $80. Once that one piece went in. Ran perfectly. No break 9n the bill, no warranty help from Maytag. Didn't even deduct the $125 at the end. Done fighting both.. cut my loses and just let everyone know to avoid Both. Especially Maytag washers.

The salespeople here are very nice. I've always liked Badcock in any state I've been in…read more Leann was very personable, and helped me pick out a chair...lift chair vs. a power recliner. The Vega is the style of small gray power recliner that I picked out. I'll post a picture later when they deliver it.

Over time, I have shopped at Badcock for bedsteads, mattresses, box springs, and leather sofas…read more While I am satisfied with the performance of the bedroom appointments, I am upset and disappointed in the long term performance of a "leather" sofa I bought at the Crystal River store back in 2015. Yes, the sofa was initially attractive and just the color I wanted. But the store personnel failed to tell me that the leather I was buying was of the lowest quality. How do I know this? The leather has begun to peel and fall off between the cushions. There are five grades of leather: 1) full grain leather, 2) top grain leather, 3) split grain leather, 4) genuine leather, and 5) bonded leather. While I thought I was getting the quality leather at a reduced price, what the business was doing was selling bonded leather and calling it leather. I would have been willing to spend more money to get better quality leather. I know quality costs more. After it was delivered, the sofa looked fine for the first year while the house set empty until I could retire. As soon as I began using the sofa for any length of time, the leather began to peel. Had I known what Badcock was selling, I would have left this sofa sitting in the store. So now, in 2020, I am obliged to find another sofa that will hold up to use and pay to have the piece of junk I now have hauled away. My advice: question the salespeople thoroughly on the quality of any leather. Educate yourself on leather. Better yet, buy your fine furniture elsewhere.
