It was a large space, and despite its positive first impression, we were a little concerned because there were no customers. Perhaps 5:30 on a weekday was too early for the area. It was obvious our server was new because she wasn't too sure about the menu, but she got the answers we needed. The "special" lasagna my wife ordered ended up being unavailable, so she went with the regular lasagna. The presentation and taste of our pasta entrees was very good. I went with the regular-size beef stroganoff instead of the large portion and glad I did because the sauce was heavy and contained a lot of beef. We also ordered their special bread (assorted 4-count) and it came out soft and warm with a delicious spread on the side. I'd definitely recommend checking out Joy's Table if in the area. By the way, two more tables came in by the time we left. I guess it's a late dinner crowd.

The first bite of that pepperoni pizza roll with the obviously fresh yeast bread dough roll, the meat sauce, the garlic cream sauce...then the fresh beer-battered fish and really good crispy french fries, and a home made cole slaw that's just about as good as my husband's late Southern grandma's cole slaw (which is really high praise.) The Lucky Seven pizza was also delicious with a perfect crust and big chopped veggies like mushrooms and peppers. Service was friendly and attentive; the decor is clean and on the more minimalist side while also comfortable and welcoming. Agree with all the other reviewers, this is absolutely an amazing experience--this meal will be one of the great memories of our road trip from Sugar Land, Texas (greater Houston area) to South Dakota and Mount Rushmore.

They've been in a few different locations, and still turn out a great product. This isn't a fancy kind of gyro place...and to be honest, nostalgia probably influences my rating and review, but I've always loved Nick's and have never found another gyro place that can even come close. It's closer to a Greek taco than a "traditional" gyro (no tzatziki sauce here - just sour cream, onion, lettuce and cheese) There's just something about those danged pitas! After the original Greek brothers sold their stake, the place did suffer some, but came roaring back to life, delivering that signature gyro as good as ever. I really miss the location in downtown "on the bricks," but I'm happy to still be able to get my fix when we drive across Nebraska! Plus, I hear that they are working out a way to ship to us out-of-towners! if that happens, my diet is definitely going to suffer. Get the gyro, and a side of corn nuggets. Long live Nick's Gyros!

He had the Good Vibrations on a gluten-y bun. Boy, oh, boy, were they tasty! We demolished both sandwiches off before our EV even finished charging (and our EV likes to slurp electrons quickly). The BBQ aroma meets you at the door as soon as you walk in. There's plenty of seating, and the restaurant is bright, and clean. I ordered the two-meat plate since I wasn't super hungry, and it was just enough to satisfy my taste for BBQ. The smoked sausage wasn't greasy and had a nice snap to it. The sliced brisket was moist with good smoky flavor, and not fatty at all. The Cole slaw was good, but I wouldn't mind a slightly larger portion. The toasted slice of Texas toast filled up the little last bit of space I had in my stomach. The meats were flavorful, and just what you'd want if you have a taste for BBQ. Service was quick, and friendly at the time of my visit which was on a Saturday afternoon. A good place for BBQ if you're not too picky, and hungry for some smoked meats.
