Bought an old Snapper mower from him. Great experience. Worked much better than my 10 year old mid tier mower.

Went to this shop to see if he can clean out the carbs on my generator because it wouldn't start. He opted not to service it because it was too much work to take the casing apart to get to the carburetor. He said he had problems/sickness with his fingers that would prevent him from doing the work. read more

Mower wouldn't start at all after running strong and only sitting for a week . I had just done a full maintenance myself (carb(2x cleaned previous week), filter, plug, gas, oil..)... now a week later, dead, again ...I was fed up with this thing. Called Tony who told me to bring it in even though he was close to closing on a Friday. Brought it over he quickly found the issue, which was a new one...,Tony was kind enough to show me how to fix and didn't charge me a dime. He could have easily told me he was closing for the weekend and not helped at all or charged me for his time or even worse $. read more

Javier and Alex should both get a life! What a couple of whiners, all they do in life is complain. Who would review McDonalds, oh, I guess the same guy that gets a spray tan! Javier, you called someone in your reviews racist, just read your reviews and you will see you are the racist! I've known and used Tony for years and NEVER had a problem. He has always treated me fair and has done good work. But there again, I'm not one who calls Dry Cleaners to get an estimate! read more

I brought two lawnmowers in for repair and Tony brought them back to life. He was reasonably priced and I plan to bring him future business. Lawnmower repair shops like this seem to be harder to find these days. I do recommend going there if you have the need for a repair. read more

Quality products and good quality service. Beats buying from big retailers. The last gas blower I bought here lasted over 10 years. I think The items tony sells are better than what you can get from big retailers. read more

Tony is a wonderful man and has an interesting life story. He's always happy to help me and has been fixing my engines for many years.

I just had our Power Washer serviced as I had not used it in several years and Tony did a great job in servicing the machine. It runs very smooth now. I used to also use Tony to service my Lawnmower for quite a few years when I used to mow my own Lawn. read more

Our go to shop for lawnmower maintenance for many years, with satisfactory results, has also become our main supplier of firewood over the last year. A wheelbarrow full for $10.00; not a bad deal. Everyone here is cordial and friendly, from the shop staff to those helping to fill your wheelbarrow's worth of wood and loading it into your vehicle. By the way, they provide the wheelbarrows, so don't think you have to haul one there yourself. read more

This a lawnmower and small engine repair shop, not a restaurant. Cracks me up the poor reviews due "bad service". Tony is a no nonsense guy that is buried in repairs for a reason, he does good honest work. If you procrastinated on your repair needs or you're in a hurry, surely you should find another shop in SF valley as one review stated. Otherwise, be patient. Tony's not looking to make friends so if you need to be coddled and/or need meaningless conversation, this is not the place for you. Basically industry standard pricing so pricing seems fair. I have been twice and both times repairs completed in less time than quoted (2 weeks). read more

Tony helped repair my generator before the Tick fire and it runs great! I also bought a used steel grinder/wire wheel from him that he had on the showroom floor for my blacksmithing work and it is a great machine!! Thanks Tony! read more

The WORST WORST WORST service I have ever experienced in my whole life. I have had to go to this place 1 to many times because it is the only place in town but i will never EVER go there again. I will travel to South Africa before I give this place any of my money again. The guy that runs this store is extremely lazy and always in a bad mood. I have had to drive to him and BEG him to work on my equipment multiple times and he is always too busy... I thought he just had an attitude with me but I saw how he treated the customer before me in line and I couldnt help but laugh.... I have had to re-string my pull cord there 2 times for $15 (takes literally him 2 minutes and cost him 0 dollars) and the last time I went I asked him how much and he says $25 AFTER telling me I had to drive back to pick it up later that night IF he had time to get to it... so I say "last time it was 15" he looks at me and says "well gas has gone up..." LOL!! WTF?? this was 2 months ago and this doesn't involve any gas hahahaha!!! While I was there that same day this guy comes in with his wood chipper that needed alot of parts and work done to it... ok you would think this shop would be happy to take in such a big job and help pay off his wood shack a little bit.... BUT NO!!! The more the customer was telling him he wanted fixed and replaced the more upset you could see this guy getting.... then the customer asks him "so when do you think it will be ready?" the guy says "Well i'll see if I can get the parts before christmas but it could take up to 2 months" hahahaha OMG!! this guy needs his wood chipper for work... hahaha omg I couldn't stop laughing, You should have seen the look on the clients face it was priceless. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! Please take the 15 minute drive to the San Fernando Valley and get your equipment fixed somewhere else for half the price read more

I've been going to Tony's for more than a decade for lawnmower tune-ups and repair. Now that he has firewood dirt cheap, it's a solid five stars. Tony is great to deal with - describe the problem and he gets it fixed. No high pressure for other items or unnecessary repairs. Firewood is $10 for a wheelbarrow full. And I mean full. It's piled high and for $20 I fill up the back of the Prius, seats down. He even helps load it. I always park in the alley so I'm close to the door but parking is a non-issue. This is a true small business and one that I'm happy to regularly support! read more

I have to agree with Alex on this one, this guy is pretty lazy I don't even think he blinked the whole time I was there At that point I thought maybe he's dead but yes I would rather go somewhere else and pay the extra money or get better service because if his quality of work is as sub par as his attitude I'm definitely not going to get my moneys worth read more

Tony is a very nice guy and very fair. I took my chainsaw there for him to repair and he gave me a call before he started any work letting me know how much it would be, turned out the parts for the repair were too expensive to make sense but Tony did not charge me anything to take a look. He's also repaired and serviced my lawn mower and it has run great for years! read more

Tony is great. He's a local business owner that does good work. He's been servicing my lawnmowers for 15 years. He extended the life of my old lawnmower several years. I finally threw in the towel and got a new one and now he services that one as well. There is a cool old gas powered reciprocating saw he has mounted above the counter. It's a good conversation piece. read more

I have been getting my firewood from Tony for years! He is the best. He has also repaired a couple of lawnmowers back in the day when my son did the lawn. Great guy, great service. I highly recommend! read more

Awesome service. I called about carb parts for a mower given to me for free. I brought in the parts about an hour later and he had exactly what I needed in the shop!!! Thank you!!! Very helpful. I will recommend Tony to my friends. read more

Tony is great to do busy with. He Will friendly and will take his time with you if you have questions. Will go out of his way to make sure your mower is serviced right. Is very good about having your repair done when he says it will be done. I have been going there for over 10 years now and highly recommend him. He repairs most makes of mowers and edgers even my Honda but one of his specialties is Toro. read more

Took my 30+ year old Honda mower in for service as it had stopped running. Had it serviced and the blades sharpened. It was ready this morning as promised and it runs great. Excellent service and very reasonable price. read more

Definitely my go to shop when you need your equipment repaired or service. Very honest and professional and would recommend to all my friends read more

I'll start off by saying, "Tony is one of the nicest guys you will meet." I brought my weedwacker and blower to him cause both were running like crap. He told me the blower would be cheaper to replace. That instantly won me over. Only an honest man would do business like that. He repaired the weedwacker and it runs better than it did out of the box new. It's businesses like his that make this country great. If I could take my car there I would. read more

I am very thankful to have Tony's shop in town. He's always been able to repair my equipment fast and he is priced fairly. He's always been upfront about what the work involved, and the price, and on more than one occasion he's let me know when something was not worth servicing (as in "this is an inexpensive blower worth $90, and it will cost $80 to service). That speaks volumes about his character and approach to customer service, since there's no monetary upside for him, just the respect of a grateful customer. He's a no-nonsense type personality, and I guess some may read that as "unfriendly." I couldn't disagree more. In fact he's always been kind enough to offer suggestions on how to avoid the issues that brought me to his shop in the first place. Prices seem fair - I only go there a couple of times a year, and it usually involves a lawnmower tune-up, blade sharpening, etc. the usual stuff. And for the previous reviewer that bemoaned the $15 to restring his lawnmower because "it takes 2 minutes and $0"... You're not only paying for the time it takes to do the work (guaranteed to be longer than 2mins), but you're paying for the expertise - something you clearly lack, or else you would do it yourself. I don't visit Tony's shop for the cappuccino or his political views - neither of which he offers. I go there because I need my equipment serviced right, at a reasonable price, and he delivers. read more

Tony did a great job in diagnosing and repairing my portable generator. His price to repair was very reasonable. I recommend this repair shop and give Tony an A+ in knowledge and friendliness. read more

I went to Tony's to buy firewood so I can't comment on his lawnmower abilities. However, he seems like a great guy, fair and pleasant. He mentioned he was born and raised in the SCV, which tells me he is devoted to the community and can be counted upon to still be here the next time I come around. Also very pleased with the price of the firewood, I filled the trunk of my SUV for 30$. I will be back every year for certain. For others buying firewood, I wasn't sure where it would be easiest for Tony to load my car, but he brought the firewood straight up to the front door, so parking right out front is a good spot for loading. Also, he takes credit cards, so that was very helpful for me, as I don't carry cash. read more

Tony is a great dude, very friendly, very respectful and one hell of a guy. He is as honest as can be and he fun to talk to. Tony is a great mechanic and a great friend. When I need tune ups he gives me a fair price usually between 50 and 70 dollars depending how serious the problem is. Before i went to Tony i went to another place in Canyon Country and i got charged twice as much for half the effort. Tony is the god of lawnmower mechanics. I highly recommend to anyone. read more
