If you are looking to do custom kitchen cabinets, he does not do them. He will tell you he can and when you give him a deposit, he will say he can't do this and can't do that. He took a deposit from us and when we realized he couldn't do any of the things we were asking for, we asked him kindly if he would refund us the deposit since he did not actually do any work (no drawings, no orders, etc.), he refused. The only thing he did do was come measure our kitchen. His attitude completely changed once he received the deposit and was extremely rude. We got most of our deposit back after a couple of intense argumentative conversations. We cut our losses and called it a day. We don't have time to deal with con artists like Peter Guo. Don't get scammed. Stay away.

Not only was she very quick and responsive, she also went out of her way to get answers with regard to led lighting, delivery stock, etc. I have called in before and i spoke to someone who couldn't provide any answers related to my order and continued to note that there was no way of knowing if they have my order. I even asked what do you know? Do i have half my orders? Is it in stock currently? I am picking up the order tomorrow, what can you tell me? And i was constantly provided with unhelpful non answers. Had we had to deal with this individual, we would not rate cabinet city so highly as there was not even a let me check with warehouse (right across in the adjacent building). There was basically a lack of knowledge or willingness to help (instead of saying i am not sure but i will find out, i get it there is no way of knowing). I am thankful Sherry was our go to person and i am also thankful to the warehouse staff who stepped up to help while the person behind the desk was ignoring customers and not even informing of a wait or someone going on break. Instead someone from the warehouse who picked my order came to me directly to help without me asking. Although every place has their pros and cons, i would say that this place is very lucky to have people like Sherry and the warehouse operators. In terms of product, i am not yet able to comment on the received materials as they are still in their boxes, but my wife and i do love the options at cabinet city especially compared to other companies out there. Pricing is more than fair as well. Picking up the order was also very straightforward and easy. So overall, the positives simply outweigh the negatives. They came up with clever ways to integrate parts of our kitchen soffit that couldn't be removed into the surrounding cabinetry and had great ideas on maximizing the usable space in the cabinet boxes. She asked if he was a customer service associate and he said yes. Then she said "Oh good! Hi, I'm (her name)" and he just scowled at her and said "Okay." We were immediately taken aback and shocked into silence for a moment because she was just being friendly and we weren't expecting the hostility. So she asked her question nervously and he answered it. We ended up checking out right after and leaving the store despite wanting to purchase more items because we felt uncomfortable. This was our favorite nursery and have spent hundreds here. We probably won't be back because of this guy.
