They have provided all of the hinges, locks, drawer pulls, grills, cremones, & escutcheons for our home, & we continue to receive compliments from guests even years later. Of even greater note is the service they provide, & both Roxanne & Patrick could not be more professionally helpful, patient, caring, & gracious. Not to mention that for this high quality level of products, their prices are quite fair. And, whereas most companies once they have made "the sale," can't recall your name should you need help at a later time on an item already purchased, they are there to help, stand behind their products, their name, & their strong reputation in the business community. I have been taking my window screens to them for years. Almost always satisfied with the results (one time the screen was not centered). Anyways, since it was a big screen and I was using my RX, I took it early in the morning, when they opened, to avoid traffic. I was told by the rescreener that they have same day turnaround. I replied that I would probably return early the next morning. By one o'clock, I received a voicemail that my door was ready for pickup. I went over an hour later and got it. Very impressed with the service. I chose the SunTex? material, I believe it's called, to reduce the rays by 80%. I was expecting to pay at least $100. Price was $60 and change. I very highly recommend Cooper's

Even though it's my landlord's job, when one doesn't comply, you take the matter into your own hands and take action. I had told my son to go to this Ace Hardware store and look for a nice, new, white toilet seat. So, he went yesterday around 5pm, and was helped by a very nice employee. He can't remember his name. Ace has always been our go-to hardware store. Too bad they close early. We have one in Studio City, but the prices and selection were not vast and were a bit pricy. It truly varies from one location to the next. They also have sale/discounted items every now and then. So with that being said, he bought a new toilet seat. Exactly what I had in mind. White, comfortable and new. Not too comfortable, or else I would fall asleep on it:-)) Not joking. I was even thinking to get the one that is soft and has a cushion. Store was very clean, well organized according to their items and also fully stocked. All he paid was $42.00, not including tax. They have many other appliances for gardening, home, and also a nursery. I can go on and on and on. I am a loyal customer of Ace, and we have bought a lot of stuff form them for our house in the past. So now, I can sit on this toilet without thinking that I am going to fall in it. Thank you all Ace Warehouses. For your dedication, loyalty and great customer service. They have parking, accept most credit cards, and don't know if they have restrooms or not.

Sometimes I'll go to one of the more "convenient" home improvement chains, but 80% of the time after looking through aisles and aisles of cookie-cutter boxes of hardware designed for contractors I will come up empty handed and head over to Franklin's wondering why I didn't just start here. I have always, ALWAYS, found the hardware I need, no matter how obscure the screw, nut, or fitting, at Franklin. Tiny brass screws to fix an antique clock? They'll have it. "Euro" style screws that came with your cheap Ikea cabinet? They'll have it. A bushing for a kitchen appliance that is an odd size... they will have it. There is a small parking lot in the back, and metered parking on the street. They are an "Ace" hardware franchise so if you need to pick up an order from the Ace website this is a location that you can select (I've done this several times). They also do re-screening, and knife sharpening. It's truly one of the last remaining neighborhood hardware stores and I can't recommend it highly enough.
