We ordered a medium pizza rather than just slices from the counter because we wanted it fresh and hot. The pizza was tasty, but the size of the pizza was supposed to be medium and we got what is actually a small pizza anywhere else. Can't help but feel ripped off by this place. read more

When in the area we usually stop next door at Dunkin for an iced tea. We'd see this spot next door and talked to an employee coming in with a box of pizza and said it's delicious. It looks like a hole in the wall type of place. So finally we went over and got a few slices for ourselves. I got the sausage and pepperoni and my husband just got the pepperoni. They warmed them up for us and we than tried them.. the crust was just right and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. The cheese was a mix of I believe mozzarella, cheddar and provolone. It was really tasty.. the cup pepperoni was standard around here and tasty.. but the sausage was the star are really tasty. Eventually getting to the top crust was fine and it was not too doughy or tough to eat a plus. My husband enjoyed the mix of cheeses and the pepperoni. For two pieces it was about $7 and change. They do have specials on slices and a drink and etc. They do catering and you can also sit inside..it was clean and tidy and old school in a good way. The staff was really pleasant and friendly a plus. I'll be back give them a whirl. They have their own lot. Cheers! read more

Solid experience. Great job delivering a large order. Friendly staff. Everyone enjoyed the food. The gluten free option for pizza was okay. Solid option for pizza in ROC read more

My husband and I were out in Buffalo (from New Hampshire) for a wedding yesterday, and this morning we felt ROUGH and really needed wings (yes at 11 am lol)... my god, I cannot express to you enough, these were lifesaving lmao. We both decided irrefutably that these are the best take out wings we've ever ordered from anywhere. They were cooked and sauced absolutely perfectly. 100% will be back when we're in the area again! read more

Wasn't impressed. Ordered a thin crust xl w Pepperoni. Crust was not thin, looks to be regular when compared to others, definitely not tri state area thin. Sauce was meh. Pepperoni was good read more

Good old thin cheese pizza is a great go to. Almost too much cheese but who am I kidding. Great sauce. Staff is nice. Pizza is consistently good. read more

We just stopped for a quick snack mid afternoon. This is some of the best pizza I have had in years! I wish they had been here when I attended RIT. Well, maybe not... The atmosphere is perfect for a college pizza place. The staff could not be nicer. We are only here for the weekend, but we will be back to try something else!! Update: I have been back to Rochester twice since my initial visit. Both times my car wound up back here. This has got to be the best Pizza in Rochester. I ordered a sub this trip. Yet another winner! Fresh. Great flavor. The facilities could use a refresh and a good scrubbing, but they spend their time cooking and not pai read more

Grabbed a cup and char slice recently. The experience of eating this pizza was like eating two completely different pizzas. All of the grease must have flowed towards the center of the pie, which meant the first half of the slice was floppy/soggy, with a heavier taste. The second half of the slice was thicker/tougher, had less of a punch. Besides the double experience, it was an okay slice. The size was average (not huge like Perris or the former Checker Cab). At $3.65, the price was average. Taste wasnt bad. I'll have to give them another shot at some point. read more

The sauce and pizza is good if you get it hot. The 2 stars is for the wings. They are so so small I feel like they might be pigeon wings. I haven't seen many pigeons near the store. Beware. The people are nice. Step up the wing game. I can get 2 dozen at Wegmans for 15$ and they are double the size of the wings I got today. read more

We have lived in Henrietta for approximately 2 years and have yet to find good pizza. Tried Tony pepperoni for the first time and we really enjoyed it. They were friendly when we called in the order, the crust was just what I asked for and it was nice and hot. Thank you for the yummy pizza. read more

First time trying this spot, and we will definitely be back. Stopped in for a quick slice, and went classic with cheese to get a feel for the pizza. So much flavor, great sauce and loved the crust. They also have a punch card rewards program. Definitely will be back to try some more off their menu. read more

The pizza and wings were pretty good. "Jumbo" wings aren't that jumbo. The prices need updated on here. The bill was much more than anticipated. read more

Been ordering from Tony's for years! I personally love their crust - it's chewy but crunchy, and I love how their pizzas bubble up in spots. Their appetizers are decent, pretty typical of a pizza place. I've always had great service here and I enjoy ordering from a local pizza gig. read more

To me, Tony Pepperoni's is hands down the BEST pizza spot in Henrietta N.Y. Buy at the counter (or call in for quick, professional delivery) their incredible specialty and classic pizza by the slice special all the way up to a piping hot sheet with outragiously tasty wings and a great soda selection. My favorite will always be their buffalo chicken pizza. Quite a few great memories here, keep up the great work !!!! read more

Pizza is very good, we are especially fans of the lasagna pie and the spinach ricotta for specialty pizzas. The cheese pizza rocks too. Tip: when ordering an extra large pizza, ask them to cut it NY style (wedges) otherwise they take a round pie and cut it into squares. I'll never understand that. Great place with quick delivery times. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. read more

Great pizza and good service. If you want a quick slice or just grab a pie stop in. If you need to dine in they have tables in their warm dinning area. read more

Recently moved to West Henrietta and was desperately in search of some great wings (since Duffs left)! Gave TP a try and LET ME TELL you!!! They did NOT DISAPPOINT! Perfectly sauced and crispy and juicy by far one of the best wings I've had in the ROC. The pizza has one of the best sauces I've ever had on a pizza- very smooth and flavorful- it doesn't take over the entire pizza as can happen with some other pizzerias. Great service the staff are very nice and delivery is quick and the easy. TP's will def be my go to for all my wing/pizza eating needs! read more

We order food from here a lot for work. Always satisfied with great pizza and staff is always friendly! They deliver too, that's a plus!

The Best Pizza in Town. Love the sauce and we always request the extra thin crust. Perfect amount of toppings and cheese. The wings have plenty of sauce and crispy. They have some weekly specials - check them out! read more

I got a chance to try their catered lunches (subs) for a work event recently. It was a very good lunch and they easily supplied for for at least 25 people. I had a Turkey sub, everything tasted fresh. It came with chips and a tasty cookie and little packages of mayo and mustard. It really rivaled getting box lunches catered from a large chain place we have used before. Years ago, I also talked with someone from their shop to do a pizza order for work and they were extremely friendly, patient, and professional with me. read more

We stopped in here a couple of days ago just to grab a quick slice and a couple of wings. The outside of this this palace blends in and doesn't stand out. Walking in reveals an older place. We were greeted right away by the folks behind the counter in a very friendly manner. We ordered a couple of slices and half dozen wings (see the pic). The pizza was surprising good. It was not a thick pizza which is what most of the Rochester pizzerias offer and people up here seem to enjoy. It folded well. Nice texture of crisp and chewy. The wings were prepared fresh and were delicious. I saw bread come out of the oven. I was surprised when they told me they baked their bread on premises which is used for heroes, sandwiches, garlic bread, etc. She cut me a piece of this fresh hot bread. Delicious!! It had a great taste. Nothing like fresh bread! Too bad I was too full to eat more but next time I will try one of their heroes on their fresh bread. Pizza stop on State Street is still my favorite, but this is not a bad option when you are in Henrietta or when pizza stop is closed on the weekends. read more

Today at 5:45 PM I ordered 50 wings, 30 country sweet, 20 mild buffalo. I am SHOCKED! I paid 60 dollars for this including a tip to the delivery driver and they have the audacity to send them looking like this? This is horrible! The delivery driver didn't even care or apologize when he handed me the dripping bag of wings. I called them back and their excuse was "we ran out of 50 wing boxes." So you don't stuff them into the box until it breaks and tape it like it's fine! You made a mess of an order that could have been fine if you just separated them better! I'm highly disappointed with the service and if and when I order again I will NOT be tipping. This is NOT getting what you paid for. read more

Worst place ever. Food is prepare by 16 years old . Pizza always burned. Escondido much better. Don't waste your money

This is the first time I've ordered pizza from Tony's. The biggest problem was the crust. It taste like cardboard! It was so tough, the only way I can describe it was I wondered if it was old pizza that was heated up. I ordered it on a Sunday evening at 8 PM and he said it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I don't think I've ever heard of an authentic pizzeria cooking pizza that quick! I will never order from here again! read more

Slices are delicious. Pies, for some reason, just aren't as good. Ordered wings (hot) as well. The flavor was great, but the wings were slightly on the smaller side. The price should be a bit lower based on their size. read more

My experience with the food and service from Tony Pepperoni has swung across the entire customer satisfaction spectrum. Normally, the employee taking my order over the telephone is proffessional, but nearly always rushed. Their menu is quite extensive. Some of their servings are generous in size. Their potato skins, for instance, are a crunchy, cheesy, ample taste of heaven. The chicken parm, while very good tasting chicken, is squeezed into a container so ill-fitting that it left an imprint on my food. The chicken also seemed naked, with a very identifiable slice of square cheese slapped on top. (So much for some ooey-gooey cheese love!) And though I asked for extra sauce, the pasta was barely covered. Their subs are decent, though they don't even come close to giving you the amount of meat that Wegmans does. The bread, however, is delicious. Evidently this family-owned business also owns(ed) a bakery. With that knowledge I ordered their cannolis...once. They were stale and understuffed. It nearly broke my heart! The salads have always been remarkably fresh and generous in size, as well. I always ask for extra ranch dressing and am never charged for it. I appreciate their delivery service. Unlike several other pizza places nearby, there is NOT an extra service charge. read more

Literally everything on Tony's menu is my favorite as far as fast food (and I've tried a lot of it ). Every specialty pizza is awesome, especially buffalo chicken. My favorite thing though, is that every member of the staff goes the extra mile. My order is always correct, I've never had an under or over done pizza, when I call back to ask for an extra blue cheese often they will gladly add it free of charge, and my steak sub is never dry! This tired mom salutes you, Tony. read more

Tony Pepperoni - West Henrietta Road. 2/6/10 - After a fun afternoon of traipsing through the cool little stores in Village Gate Square and letting Little Belly push her stroller through the sadly empty halls of this awesome location (can you tell how much Bellyman loves VGS and wishes it would grow?), Mrs. Bellyman decided she wanted pizza. West Gate looks very promising, but a bit pricey after the overpriced Bellyflop that was the Blue Cactus the night before. Belly Family WILL try it some day... But, on to the food! After racking their brains trying to think of where to go for eat in, they decided to go with their old standby for takeout, Tony P's! Belly Family stumbled onto Tony P's thanks to a coupon in the Entertainment Guide a few years back. Since then, it's easily Bellyman's favorite pizza place. The pizza is full flavored, with wonderful, tiny little pepperoni slices that curl up nicely into little cups that capture all of the grease and hold it in place....oh, yeeeeeah...added bonus: Country Sweet-laced chicken wings. Oh, man, add in a Vanilla Coke and Bellyman is in heaven! About Bellyman's only complaint is that when he first found them, they had these amazing bread sticks. They've since changed the recipe to horrible ones, and Bellyman has sadly pined for them ever since. Oh, glorious will be the day of their return! Verdict: Bellyman very heartily approves! read more

It's really sad to have a totally burnt pizza delivered long after closing so we couldn't call about it. I was so excited for a good old pepperoni pizza and wings. The wings as usual were great, the pizza was totally scorched on the bottom. Burnt and then because it burnt the rest of the crust was gooey and undercooked. Quality control please! I don't want to knock down my review completely for one experience but I'll hesitate before ordering here again. read more

Tony Pepperoni - Burnt bottom=undercooked pizza that tastes sad - Pizza Near Me - Rochester, New York

Consulted Yelp while staying in the Rochester area and found Tony Pepperoni. Absolutely delicious buffalo chicken pizza. The thin crust has exactly the right combination of crunch and chew. The chicken is flavorful and not too spicy. I was more than satisfied with my choice. The only lamentable fact is that I got it to take out and when I got back, I discovered it didn't come with any bleu cheese dressing for dipping. Most places I have gotten buffalo chicken pizza, they give you a little container of dressing. I missed it. Sad. But other tham that...great pizza! The people behind the counter were super nice. The place is tiny and the atmosphere is very casual. Oh, another thing...I wish that somewhere on their fb page or website or somewhere, they would mention that they deliver. I didn't see it anywhere (I suppose I could have called), so I ventured out when I would have been really happy to pay to have someone bring dinner to me. read more

Really great pizza! We got half cheese and half pepperoni and loved it. The large pizza was HUGE! My husband and I got three meals out of it. (With 2-3 slices at each meal). They prepared the pizza in an average amount of time for a pizza shop, and the workers were friendly. They have TVs inside and a few sit-down booths. The only negative was that it is a little pricey-- $14 for the large half cheese / half pepperoni. read more
