Took all of the breading off and the fish was still salty.

Came in for the Lake Perch and were disappointed. Breading was thick and very salty. Service was great but restaurant was totally empty. I will not be back for the perch.

Pickle bread and roast beef

Stopped in here today to try the pickle bread. It is great a must try. It comes with orig packo pickles and banana peppers but you can request different pickles or jalapeños. Next time I am getting bread butter pickles. As usual great roast beef just wish they still had rye bread. Pickle bar is such a great touch! Very clean in here. Service was fantastic as well ‍

Chili dog and chicken soup.

Tony Packo's is a must stop as we drive through the Toledo area. Normally we go to the restaurant on Front Street, but Secor rd is right off 475 and we found this location closest to our route. Food is typical Packo's--chili dogs, soup, goulash(chili on top of dumplings...) as well as cabbage rolls and paprikash. We got chili dogs, veggie soup, and goulash. All were very good. The food is served in a cafeteria style method. We see the food as it's being placed on the plate. Service is fast and friendly. Portions are reasonable. I enjoyed the comfy chairs in the restaurant and some of the Tiffany style lamps hanging from the ceiling. The restaurant is bright--quite a contrast from the original location. Parking is easy as this is set up like a fast food restaurant in a strip mall. Yes, they have a drive through. Restrooms were clean and easily accessed. Prices are reasonable. A selection of pickles are available near the beverage station and they are pretty good!! Good iced tea is one of the beverage options. Although this restaurant lacks to coziness of the original store, it has some features not normally found in a fast food restaurant.

Cabbage roll, sausage dog, front street dog, and chicken chili

Ok, I love that this is Klinger's favorite restaurant. Obviously. But this was a great place to eat! I live elsewhere and I am a travel nurse so I get to taste a lot of new stuff. The dogs and sausage were delicious! Cabbage roll and chicken chili were also great! We were seated immediately at dinner time and had great service. There is even a Packo's gift shop. Will return during this assignment.

German potato salad

I stopped at the Tony Pacco drive-through on Secor to pick up dinner for myself and a friend. When I went to unpack the food, everything I ordered was not edible. I have a attached a picture of the German potato salad. The hot dog was water, soaked the chicken Paprikash was burnt and dry. We had peanut butter sandwiches for dinner. I was very disappointed in the quality of the food.

Went to this place is our parting luncheon Sunday before our kids went back to Ohio Hudson, Ohio and we went back to Frankfurt Illinois. It's an experience that's for sure. I don't eat pork so I couldn't eat any of their hotdogs which they're famous for chicken chili was delicious And I ordered a chicken sandwich but it was fried so I didn't eat it. It took them three times to get french fries crisp but they were good. It's an interesting place and someplace everybody should go once I went back. The only thing I would order is chicken chili. My wife had a bowl and I had a cup and we both agreed it was delicious, but everything else was kind of weird that stuff on their menu. They said they never have like diet Dr Pepper and one of the dishes wanted to order and the waitress said they were going to reprint the menu without those things but was a weird place enjoy the buns on the walls which I've got pictures for you.

As a loyal, consummate M*A*S*H fan, I had to try Tony Packo's since I was passing through on a long road trip. I was not disappointed (bought a T-shirt too!). There was a lot more variety to the food than I anticipated, but I was here for the dogs. A tiny bit more like a Kielbasa with a definite hot dog snap and taste, the dogs, topped with the finely diced sweet onions and special sauce (lots of cumin) were a savory and sensory delight. Pickles were really, really good (and on the spicy side.) Would really like to return to try many of the other dishes like the Chicken Paprikash and Stuffed Cabbage. And, by the way they even ship their hot dogs and sauce...check out their website for more info. Better yet...just stop in and enjoy.

Great place to get a hotdog. From N. CA, nothing like this exists there. My new go to place when visiting relatives.

They serve dinner on Friday nights and the food is very good. Everything is fresh because they do not serve dinner the rest of the week, so you know that whatever you are getting is top quality and freshly made. I have had their venison dinner, which is excellent, their roasted chicken, which is surprisingly delicious for how simply it is prepared and I love their specials. The prices are great and a whole family can have an amazing, delicious meal at about half the price of a comparable meal at the next closest Hungarian restaurant. Another great thing about this place is that they actually try to teach others about their culture as opposed to just being a cultural center for tax benefits. They offer Hungarian dance classes for children that are so unique and well taught that I am happy I can bring my daughter, even though it is a long way from my house. Although I do not speak Hungarian, nobody has made me feel out of place and since my daughter has Hungarian heritage from her father's side, I appreciate that she is able to experience and explore this lovely culture through their cultural center and their activities.

I was looking for a nice sit down restaurant that can allow me to be present and enjoy the quiet ambiance as opposed to chitter/chatter and general noise. I read that reservations are needed. I called Tuesday night and asked if I can get a table w/o one. The gentleman that took the call was very polite and said I can absolutely come in. This was pretty much next to the bookstore I went to on Monday. I didn't even know because I was too wrapped up in the book that I just purchased. I rarely do things like this because I feel guilty for enjoying myself on a work trip. That I away from my kids and my cats. I was seated right away. Service was spectacular. I did not get his name. I enjoyed our exchange. He shared that he lived in San Diego before moving back and checked on me throughout my dining experience. I ordered the kielbasa from the appetizer menu. The grilled onions, pickles, fresh carrots and purple cabbage, especially the mustard made the kielbasa so succulent and savory. I have been craving for pierogi so that was what I ordered as my main entree. I had one of each flavor that they offer. It was a surprise w/ each bite because I did not know which was which. I was surprised I didn't devour the plate. My entree came w/ a fresh salad w/ house made ranch and house made roll (dense but airy!). After I ordered, I marveled at the decor. That rustic and historic vibe. There was a frame that holds music notes from Mozart and a piano to my left. I love how serene and intimate this restaurant was. I only took my phone out to take pictures of my food because I wanted to enjoy the solitude I seldom get to have. Come here! Take yourself out! You deserve it. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service!

The last time we were in a Sylvania Tony P's was 30 years ago back on Monroe Street. Same great food as always and an added feature that I'm sure we'll take advantage of: a drive-thru. I can't comment on the crowd size because we arrived to an empty restaurant at 2:00pm on a Thursday. But it's a pretty good sized room with plenty of seating and it's spotless. We both had the #1 which is hot dog/drink and a side. Both got the dumplings which were fantastic. I got a second dog for two bucks, that way I was sure do over indulge and be too full to walk. lol This location also has a complimentary mini-pickle bar with sweet and original pickles. I hope T. Packo doesn't read this and discover my wife ate over a dozen sweet pickles. For what it's worth...we did buy a case of pickles. If you buy twelve, two of those are free! Just gets better and better! I personally like the Front Street location better, but, if we're on this side of town, we'll definitely stop in again. 06/25
