My family met up with another family for dinner. It was awful. The food was way over seasoned. The waitress had to be the rudest waitress I've ever encountered. She forgot one of our burgers. We get that mistakes happen but the waitress' attitude was terrible. We will never come back. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

Check you bill before you pay!! Service took forever. Band was wonderful it's unfortunate the owner Mark can't get it together. The place was half full but apparently too busy for him and his staff to keep up with and keep track of orders... 2 other tables and our were charged for extra items and had to get it corrected. The owner wouldn't remove all the extra items for our bill after we spent nearly $200... the server, his mom, kept arguing saying she "doesn't cheat" was clearly overwhelmed with taking orders. Our order was not correct from the appetizers to the meals but by then time it would've been corrected it would've been another 20 mins to get food. Burgers we're good, steak bites cooked right but not seasoned, fries and onion rings were soggy and cold. Wont be back. read more

My daughter worked here a few weekends over the summer. To this day she didn't get a single $ from the money they owed her (around $100-$150). There were days where she made squat, so those $2 were all she would've gotten but she didn't get that either. read more

Our group of 4 came for dinner our waitress was great, almost too speedy. The drinks menu looked interesting but we came for a birthday dinner. Two ordered chicken breast with dumplings, one fish and chips and one chicken paprikash. The chicken and dumplings and the paprikash were the same except for the cuts of chicken used. The dumplings were not the light fluffy pillows we expected but nokedli a large spaetzel. The dish was VERY bland. We should have been able to taste some salt/ pepper and paprika. It was the palest orange color. The cook came out of the kitchen and berated our group for calling her authentic Hungarian dish with sour cream in it bland! Nice to be able to get great food and not the normal pub menu. The menu was actually pretty broad, including "oldies but goodies" like chicken paprikash as well as new things like walleye. Food and service both excellent. Friendly pub atmosphere. read more

I have eaten here fairly regularly and seen the slow decline to what is now unacceptable. Took 20 minutes in a less than half full restaurant to be acknowledged, never got a drink refill, had to ask for silverware/condiments/a pen to sign the credit card receipt. Ordered fried mushrooms which is pretty standard for us but tonight they were sad sliced mushroom pebbles (not what we have received in the past). The bartender Mark (I believe the owner) was busy creating smoke clouds behind the bar with his vape skills. Live entertainment in a small space is difficult enough but I've heard better karaoke at closing time. The owner's mother came out of the kitchen to share all her woes of staffing and a decline in diners since covid while I was visibly impatient waiting for my bill. When I didn't tip (which I have NEVER done before) I was told I needed to work on my anger management and told not to come back. read more

Hot n New fabulous weekend Brunch spot you gotta try. Beautiful interior loaded with Tvs to watch your favorite sporting events, a outside patio looking really good. We started with Mushroom Taters Soup spot on delicious. 3 mega breakfast Tacos filled with Chorizo Eggs Pepper's Onion's n Maters absolutely fantastic. Full order of house made Potato Pancakes with Sour Cream n Applesauce. Jumbo Sweet Onion Rings. Wowed by the breakfast Pizza Ham Pepper's Onion's n Maters on a soft fluffy dough. The winner Breakfast Burger cooked your way, Fresh Beef, Bacon Egg Cheddar Cheese n Red Onion with a Potato Pancake absolutely Wowed. Looking forward for another visit soon they kept my favorite dish from when it was Sofia Eldorado for many decades. Hungarian classic Chicken Paprika or Paprikas or Paprikash, whatever you call it, is classic Hungarian comfort food. It really is just several simple ingredients ~ chicken, onion, paprika, chicken stock and sour cream. The gravy is rich and heavily laden with paprika over a bed of Spatzel Dumplings, , folks we have a winner Hungarian folks always fighting on we make the best it's all similar we Loved it a must try. We went to Greenbacks pub tonight for dinner. This place just opened up about a month or less ago. It used to be the Eldorado which I would go to for the Beef Stroganoff. It was fantastic. Their menu is smaller and more pub like which is fine. They now mainly serve Burgers and pizza. But they do have a couple other items Like Chicken Paprikash and even a Perch dinner. This is what we had the Perch dinner. It consisted of 6 or 7 pieces of perch and a big load of fries and coleslaw. It was all delicious! The coleslaw was fantastic! I'm gonna say The Best I've ever had. It was sweet. It had apples in it. I have never eaten all my coleslaw until today. I wish I had more. Our waitress said her Grandma made it and it's her own recipe. For drinks she had,you guessed it, a Long Island and I had a Tito's and soda water, both were very good. This is a great little place and I think it will do well. We will definitely go back. I'd like to try their pizza and burger. Brian if you still read my yelps and are keeping score, the napkins were of good quality although I could have use at least one more due to my messy eating. The condiments were plentiful and the table was stable. Oh yeah the menu was clean too. Our only complaint was the music was a little too loud. I say check it out I think you'll like it. Bar atmosphere with great chicken paprikas and excellent dumplings! Do not get a burger though. Ordered it medium but came well done, heavily seasoned and cold fries. Did not order pizza but it looked good. Slow service but everywhere is now. No Miller Lite on tap but the had pretty decent margaritas read more

Went on a Friday night and my biggest complaint is that it was super loud. Really difficult to even talk to the person directly across from me which just sucks alot of fun out of things. The highlight was our server who was the happiest person ever! My dinner was ok, the chicken breast steaks and dumplings. The chicken was really good and I did enjoy the sauce but the dumplings were very salty. My dining partner had the perch which I was envious of...he verified later when I could hear him that it was wonderful. The menu is small but some interesting choices, service was great, prices a bit high for what is served, but the environment just turned me off to it. read more
