Fried ice cream with chocolate, caramel & raspberry sauce with a candle on top!!

Excellent food, great service and fun atmosphere. We have been going here regularly since it opened for dinner, brunch, drinks & 2 birthday celebrations. It is one of our favorite places to go & the fried ice cream is out of this world!!

Full order of fried mushrooms just dumped on the table.

I have eaten here fairly regularly and seen the slow decline to what is now unacceptable. Took 20 minutes in a less than half full restaurant to be acknowledged, never got a drink refill, had to ask for silverware/condiments/a pen to sign the credit card receipt. Ordered fried mushrooms which is pretty standard for us but tonight they were sad sliced mushroom pebbles (not what we have received in the past). The bartender Mark (I believe the owner) was busy creating smoke clouds behind the bar with his vape skills. Live entertainment in a small space is difficult enough but I've heard better karaoke at closing time. The owner's mother came out of the kitchen to share all her woes of staffing and a decline in diners since covid while I was visibly impatient waiting for my bill. When I didn't tip (which I have NEVER done before) I was told I needed to work on my anger management and told not to come back.

It was Mexican night. I ordered the steak fajitas. Wow, they were so good and I felt a great price. I ordered the beans and rice on the side, but could have done without either of those. The beans were very dry and I just wasn't a fan of the rice, personal preference. My husband got a burger and said it had great flavor. Perfect medium cook and seasoned well. We will definitely return.

The bar and eating areas were clean but had a "homey" bar feel that made you feel relaxed without it feeling like a dive. Table got the mox sticks (these things are huge, mox logs, not sticks!) and fried green beans which were delicious. Around the table was a breakfast burger, a Reuben, the classic burger, etc. Fries were much loved and the onion rings (which literally looked like they cut the onion in half and then fried one of those size rings) were a fan favorite. I got the veggie pizza with a couple swaps (no banana peppers, added roasted red peppers and spinach) and it was delicious. Crust was crispy but not thin and the sauce was really flavorful. Appropriate amount of cheese, not so much that all your toppings fall off, but enough that you get a pull when you grab a slice. Our server was very nice and attentive. We split checks around the table and no issues. Would definitely stop in again and would recommend for anyone searching for a regular bar/food joint.

They don't serve any food though, so might not be a good choice if you're hungry. - Dogfish Head Grateful Dead IPA: 10000/10 (an amazing, refreshing IPA that isn't too strong! Medium-bodied, pretty fruit-forward with notes of pineapple and mango. Honestly one of the best IPAs I've had in a whileee) - Kasteel Wit: 9/10 (light-body wheat beer that's also super refreshing and flavorful!) - Hacker Pschor Oktoberfest: 10/10 (great marzen) - Rhineheist Cheetah lager: 8/10 (decent lager) - Guinness: 6/10 (the Guinness was wayyyyy too watery!!!) - Ferndale Project Apple Pie: 9/10 (actually tastes like apple pie and vanilla! It's def on the sweeter side though, so you might not like it if you're not into sweet beer) Overall, I definitely want to come back and sit outside when the weather is nicer!

However, I made a grave mistake of ordering on the QR code/Toast rather than at the bar. I say grave because fellow bourbon whisky enthusiasts will cringe -- I was pretty stoked to see that they had Basil Hayden Toasted. So, I ordered it but also selected "add water" with the anticipation that it would be like a dropper of water. Nope, they made a cocktail out of my 2oz pour of Basil Hayden. Whiskey water. At that point, it could've been Makers Mark or Jack and I wouldn't have known the difference. User error though so I did make sure I still tipped accordingly and NOW I know. I'll be back though.

My fave of the dishes was the whipped ricotta with hot honey - just wish the bread that accompanied was just a bit more toasted but it still was really delicious. My daughter chose the kids fish and chips, I chose the Cobb salad and the rest of our table did shrimp or mahi mahi tacos. Everything was very tasty and I enjoyed my glass of rosé. Was nice to look out at the water while we ate. Would come back again if in the area!
