Its very small inside, but with Netflix on the wall its very comfortable, and the nail polish selection is the biggest i've seen. Not 5-star because of misleading prices. I was previously told by a friend that it was $45-$50 for a full set of acrylics with gel polish, which the sign inside also said, "$45 and up" and mine came to $60 right off the bat- and I am not sure why. Unfortunately they are overpriced for the worth of the nails. Design are normally pretty good but they don't top coat the chrome causing it to rub off after a few days and also as someone who almost never breaks a nail after having them done consistently for about 7 years 2 sets in a row 2 nails have just fallen off completely within a week (I usually go 3 before they even lift) so unfortunately the retention just isnt there. I was getting good manicures and pedicures the first few times so I kept going. The last two times I have gone have been disappointing. First, I was charged for a higher service than I requested. When I questioned it, the technician backed off and charged me for the service I asked for. Today, my mani/pedi took 2 1/2 hours and left me disappointed with the outcome. Then when I went to pay, I was up charged $5.00 for something to do with "gel polish" when I had a regular manicure and pedicure. I paid it regardless and will not return. read more

I had the worst experience here. I got a gel polish pedicure which the owner is telling me they might lift off. I have never been told this before. I believe he is making excuses for poor service beforehand. I also asked for a dip manicure, which by the way did not come with any work on cuticles. Never in all the times I have had my nails done is this not part of the treatment considering the price was 70 dollars. Total rip off. He rushed the service. There were a couple of kids in there getting there nails done, and he was pushing gel polish for kids under 10 do enrich his profits. Don't waste your money. Called to get a pedicure since my normal place was busy. I could tell some kind of training was going on because two people were kind of helping me. It was a verrry slow regular pedicure and I could tell the painting wasn't the best but it had been an hour and I needed to go. My appt was at 1030... my toes were still tacky at 430. I have been going to tony nails for five consecutive years. I have never had a problem with their services until now. About a week ago I had made an appointment for 2:00pm, got there there at 1:55pm and wasn't seen until 2:30pm. It was pretty annoying but I understand if a clients service took longer than anticipated. Funny thing about this is the guy who did my nails was not working on another clients nails, he came out of the back room at 2:30pm. In my opinion this is very unprofessional and shows that this place does not value their clients. What really got me mad was when they were done with my service (acrylic fill) and charged me the same amount i paid for a full set ($60). I didnt think anything of it at the time but when I was in my car going home I thought that something didnt seem right. I ended up calling them and they told me that they "accidentally charged me an extra $10" This is absolutely insane to me. How do you just "accidentally" overcharge someone? I can answer that, you don't. This is no mistake, and is probably not the first time that this has happened. If you want to be overcharged without knowing then come here! Because it will probably happen to you and you might not even realize. This is not where the story ends. Two days after getting my nails done (with gel polish) two of my nails chipped, I now have no polish on either of these fingers. If you want to go to a salon that doesn't value you as a customer, overcharges you, lacks any form of professionalism, and does not even know how to apply nail polish then this is the perfect place for you! After 5 years of being a loyal customer I will NEVER be returning and hopefully anyone else I tell this story. I am truly heartbroken that a salon I love has gotten so bad. Tony and his team do an amazing job. Post-COVID they are relying more on appointments than walk ins, which I appreciate because you get in at the time that works for you. Their work is meticulous and the basic pedicure is something to rave about. Warm lotions and oils? Yes, please! To all my friends and family I have referred to Tonys nails. Don't go. I revoke my support now. I got a full set done. I wasn't feeling well and not paying attention. Never had an issue ever. I left. Got home and within an hour I realized how fucked up they were. I text tony right away and let him know. And that id be in on Tuesday (was Sunday when I got done). I go in I. Tuesday. Get sent away Bc he didn't put me in. I'm not aggravated. Ok. I go back when he tells me to. I show him the nails. He wants to file them. They're already coffin shape. He wanted to make stiletto to make them even. I say no. I just want them taken off and redone. He starts giving me a hard time saying that will take too long. Even tho he asks me to come in an hour before my appt to soak off so he can redo them. He's giving me a hard time about fixing his screw ups. Finally I say well you can fix or give me back my money. He gets up and refunds my money. And refuses to fix them. I soak them off with another girl. I leave. Come to find out. He refuses to take me as a client any longer. And won't allow anyone else there to do my nails. So years of friendship and loyal customer. I get banned. Im telling everyone I know to stay away from Tony's Nails. Tony's Nails in Ludlow MA, has a new owner. This new owner is a disaster. I scheduled an appointment for 10 a.m. and explained everything over the phone what I wanted done so that they would have time for me without rushing. I get to my appoint ment and they made me wait a long time, then one of the techicians did my pedicure and told me to sit in the waiting are. Again I waited and waited. Needless to say, I was gettin very upset. Another technician asks me what I needed done and when I explained, her face was like, I can't do that and she started talking to the owner in their language. At this point I just couldn't take it any more. I told them that I would never comeback anymore and left. Went to another salon and when I was telling them about my experience, another customer said that the same thing happened to her with this new owner and the employees said that they've been hearing a lot of complains about that place. My mom went to this nail salon to get a fill on her acrylics with gel top coat. The nails are all bumpy, the painting is terrible and not painted underneath. She didn't take her time and I am so unsatisfied with them. After telling her how I felt she replied with "well the nails before were even worse" which was not true because it has been 4 weeks since my last fill. Came to Tony's nails to treat myself from a long week. As soon as I got in the door I was rushed and felt very unwelcome. I asked if they had time for a full set of acrylic nails and a gel pedicure. They said they had time and immediately put me in a chair. They rushed me on the color I wanted for my set then insisted I do the dip powder they have at the salon. I told them no I would just like normal gel polish, they still gave me the nail pallet for the dip powder. So I just went with it. They put my nails on just fine and as soon as they started to shape my nails they were all crookedly shaped and looked awful. I was going for a long French fade and they had told me the coffin shape would look much better so I said okay. I didn't like they way they looked when they cut them I told them that and they became mad at me and sent me to another nail tech in the salon. He then took my nails off asking me why I didn't like it and told me they didn't have time cause a wedding party was coming in. After they took my nails off they told me to wait for my pedicure. I was then waited by a third nail tech and was sat in a spa chair. The pedicure came out great and I didn't say much to the tech or to anyone at that matter because I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable being in the salon after the scene the second nail tech made. I went there just before the holiday and was very disappointed. The staff was very rude and not accommodating. I visited this nail salon for the first time after Covid lockdown and Tony did my nails. The station was not cleaned thoroughly before I sat down. When I returned to have a broken nail fixed, the station was not cleaned at all. Clients had their noses sticking out of their masks and nothing was done about this. I got a full set of nails with one solid color. It cost $70. Five days later one nail broke and I returned to have it fixed. In the days following, five more nails broke. In the 13 days following the application of a full $70 set, six out of ten nails broke. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

According to them, I "didn't say I wanted acrylic nails" on the phone when I know I had asked for them. Because of this, they made me sit back down. I went here for a gel nail refill two weeks ago on a Tuesday. At first it was fine, and than it started to break. The gel nails was too thin, I get water underneath on one nail and I have to take the break the gel nail off the middle finger. I went to get my broken nail fixed and still that nail broke off. I am very picky when it comes to my nails. I can go to a shitty nail tech and my nails would stay on and not break. The salon is immaculate and each customer has their own personal box that contains a nail file and a manicure block. The customer service was excellent and prices are the lowest around.
