If you are in search of a standard American breakfast quick and at value then this is the spot! Nothing fancy menu wise, but still good food for low cost. I mean sure you could go to Denny's or IHOP but then you lose all the great offerings from this place. So yes the food is good, but efficiency and friendliness is amazing. They have a great system, where the person at the counter is orchestrating the entire show as the conductor. I was at awe on a Sunday morning seeing this cog of wheels working, mind you that they are also running a drive thru as they are busting tables and feeding their large portions in house. I ordered the ham and eggs which was good. The grill marks on the ham steak were great added visual bonus but it also added a delicious pow to it. Yes I'm talking about breakfast, it's not fancy but good. My kids had standard pancakes, eggs, and sausage... they were pleased. And If you eat in house for breakfast expect for someone to come around and offer refill on coffee. I enjoyed this so much that I ordered some to go for my wife that stayed at home. She enjoyed the breakfast especially the toast, a detail that shouldn't be taken lightly as the toast was packaged separate from her main plate which meant non soggy toast ready to be eaten. We had the bacon and ham breakfast burritos. The eggs were moist, hot, and a lot of them in our burritos. The cheese was spread through out and the meat tasted fresh, unlike Lucky Boy. My only complaint was that the hash browns were a little burnt but then again some people like it that way. I felt the burritos were evenly spaced out. I hate getting a bite of just hash browns and tortilla. The price for 2 was $13 and change. The size of the burrito was pretty close to a Lucky Boy size, so you get the value too. I would say it's better than Lucky Boy and Hi- Life. I haven't tried Tops, so I can't compare that one yet. It's not a 5 star breakfast burrito, but it's good and I'll eat it again. read more

My mother and myself visited Tom's drive thru tonight and purchased 2 single Turkey Burgers. I was really surprised at the price. They were $6.99 each with a total price of $14.31. This was definitely over priced for burgers without them being a part of a combo. We won't be viisiting this establishment to often. read more

Very Very impressed with the staff, the food, the price, the friendliness! I must say Tom's is doing a lot of things right. Free Sundaes after 3pm with any purchase, Free milkshake when you share on Social Media. They come to check in on you while eating, they say "have a nice day" when leaving. Suckered in. The Woody Show drew me in, the food kept me here. I ordered the cheeseburger with pastrami and pepper jack with a side of zucchini. The burger had a wonderful flavor on its own accord. so i was skeptical reading reviews saying that their service here was on par with like high end steakhouses..but they aren't joking. they're super attentive here and they will come by your table a few times to check on you and how you're doing. super super nice people here. i ordered the cheeseburger combo and got the onion rings for i think 2 bucks more or so. so damn good. the onion rings are insane. the coating doesn't fall off as you bite into them (they're hot and fresh). i couldn't finish the food so i took the onion rings home and i popped them in the oven to reheat and still good. my sister got the gyro with fries. just know the portions are no joke here. like seriously soooo much food for your money. i saw the waffle with strawberries. i'll be getting that next time. it looked amazing. read more

The food is very expensive for what you get. Take the omelettes, for instance. I can go to at least three other places in Pasadena to get an (arguably better) three egg omelette with cheese, lots of meat, tons of veggies, hash browns and toast for around $7.50. Here it's $7.49 for a base omelette, $1.39 for a single slice of meat, and $0.69 for any and all vegetables. All told that's a $10-$11 check before adding a drink. Not the most wallet friendly pricing scheme. On the plus side, the table service once you're seated is nice and friendly. read more

I love this place. I've visited every weekend for the past month. Their chicken salad is delicious. The portion is massive. I was able to divide it into 3 meals. Onions rings are awesome too. Came down here to eat while waiting for my car to get repaired. I have always passed by but never gave it much thought because of the area - repair shops. They are very clean, friendly quick and the food is good. I had the steak sandwich it was good but the bun was dry as if it had been exposed to air. I will be back to try other items. read more

Was happy when I saw this place being built. When we went we ordered burgers and fries. Huge menu, if you can't find something here you've gotta problem. The burgers were just ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The reason why we won't return was when we walked up one of the employees was smoking talking on the his cell by the door and when he returned from break we watched him go back to work without washing his hands which bothers me. The other strange thing is that the manager/ owner sits in the dining room watching you eat and then jumps back on the line to help. It's just a weird feel there. read more

So excited Tom's opened today, I went to try their breakfast and they did not disappoint! I ordered a bacon and egg breakfast burrito and an egg and potato with bacon breakfast plate. I ordered it to go and did not have to wait long. The food was great, the burrito was not greasy like some other places and the hashbrowns were cooked great not too mushy or overcooked. I like this place but I went here the other day and it states they close at 11pm. When we arrived at 10pm they had signs stating they were still open. We knocked on the door and they told us they close at 10. They need to change their business hours and when they close they need to switch the signs from open to close. Convenient location. They have a drive in and plenty of parking. I ordered their bean and cheese burrito which was 4.89 for a good size burrito... still a tad bit pricey for not having any meat but I was in a desperate need for beans and cheese.. Would be nice if my burrito didnt taste like they used canned beans toward the last few bites...but I was hungry so I ate it anyways.
