    Found the last mailbox

My bff took me to this corn maze for my birthday. It was great fun & a good way to get in some steps. They gave us a paper with 12 sections & as we located each mailbox, we took a coupon from the mailbox & taped it on the proper space on the paper. When completed, it forms a map of the maze. We also took the "train" ride around the perimeter of the property...bumpy but fun. I would go here again & bring a lot of friends with me.

Toms Maze was so fun! Doing the maze at night made the maze a little suspenseful, difficult and fun altogether. Their was a concession stand with funnel cakes and the maze changes every year. I think I want to make this an annual event to attend. I look forward to next years maze !

What an amazing experience! I had such a blast at Tom's Maze. My best friends family was having a gathering for her sister and thought this would be the ideal place to celebrate a fall birthday. They reserved a bonfire spot for 3 hours so we can enjoy grilling hot dogs and s'mores. You can bring chairs, but there are logs around the bonfire. The maze is the most fun to play when it gets close to sunset and night (make sure to bring a flashlight) You have 10 sections to find the missing puzzles (you look for the mailboxes). Once you complete, there is an awesome victory bridge you can view the whole corn maze. The maze is pretty cool and not narrow. Warning: if it rained the day before make sure to wear boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. The grounds can be muddy. Besides the maze, there is a section for you to look at the goats and donkeys, they have a small store where you can buy pumpkins and drinks, food, and old school trailer that sells hot food and picnic tables to lounge around. This place has so much to do. I really enjoyed my time here!

    Campfire areas available for rent

I loved my trip to Tom's Maze. We came here to celebrate my sisters birthday and it was wonderful. We rented one of the campfire sites. It was $40 for a small site which accommodates 15-75 people for 3 hours. You still have to pay an additional $8 per person for admission to the maze. They came back and got the fire started and provided a small pile of wood to keep the fire going. There were logs all around the fire for seating and a large picnic table as well. It was wonderful. Up toward the main maze area there is a small labyrinth made of flowering bushes, a no right turn and a no left turn maze as well as a color maze. The color maze is basically colored hoses laid on the ground that you have to hop over in a particular pattern. It sounds lame but was actually super fun and challenging. The big draw however is Tom's puzzle maze. It's huge! We brought flashlights and waited until dark to get started which made it even more fun and challenging. It took us over an hour to make our way through. There are 12 sections with mailboxes hidden in each section. Each mailbox has a puzzle piece inside that you tape to your map. Collect all 12 pieces to complete the puzzle. We split up into teams and raced to see who could finish first. We finished up by watching the pumpkin cannon shoot a pumpkin into the sky and sipping hot coco and cider (only $1 each) from the small store. This will defiantly be a family tradition from now on!

The workers were rude. This is not a family friendly business. Corn maze was mediocre at best. I will not return--ever!

I LOVE VISITING KINGS ISLAND!!…read more This was another great visit to Kings Island with the family. This place just keeps delivering. The kids area is extensive and incredibly well done, with rides and attractions that work for a wide range of ages. It's clear they've thought about the adults too: plenty of shade and comfortable spots to wait while the kids burn off all that energy, which makes a huge difference on a long day (or a short day, you know!) One of my favorite traditions is lunch in the Festhaus. Being able to cool off, catch a show, and enjoy LaRosa's pizza is always a win. The pizza itself is great (as always), though I'll admit the pizza/breadstick combo is a little odd. The breadsticks are pretty doughy and don't have much flavor. Not terrible, just not the highlight. The true star, though, is the blue ice cream in the kids area. It's pure nostalgia, genuinely delicious, and the long line proves I'm not alone in thinking that. Even better, the line moves fast, so it's never a dealbreaker. Pizza and blue ice cream are a must for me every single visit--no exceptions. Kings Island continues to be a place we look forward to coming back to. Great for families, thoughtfully designed, and full of those little traditions that keep pulling you back year after year.

The lines were double the app estimates! The eateries were hilariously unprepared w/ lines out the door. Half the employees the need working only half the counter open at the BBQ place being used. 20 mins to get food. Then you go over to check out & there's 4 registers open but only 1 at a time is ever occupied since only 1 order comes out every 30 secs. So 3 workers are staring at phones! So poorly organized. Our Mac & cheese was so cold we couldn't eat it so had to go back & request another which had a 5 mins wait for another batch. Ice was piled up on every drink dispenser to laughable levels & again there's still 3 check out girls "picking their nose" just 3' away. We left early b/c it was pretty awful.

I'm from Cincinnati area but was visiting family in Dayton in July and me and my cousin decided to…read morego here. It was a different atmosphere than Cincinnati and Kentucky rinks. It was cool though, more outgoing, more laid back. There was a lot of people doing dance skating and jumps. One annoying thing I noticed, There were groups of people that would be in the middle of the rink, not in the center area but right smack in the middle of where everybody is skating, and they would be doing a dance in one spot where everybody was trying to skate. That was kind of annoying and that would never fly in Cincinnati rinks! If you weren't careful you might plow right into them. And if you are skating they won't move out of your way, you're expected to go around them! It would be ok if they went into the center circle but they don't, they are out where everybody is skating. I was told by an experienced skater that this is "Dayton style skating" and every city has a different style of skating. The other thing that I didn't like was that there are no refills on water, even if you reuse the same cup! I asked the owner about this because I drink a lot of water and my rink in Cincinnati gives free refills as long as you use the same cup, but he said he couldn't do that. So if you drink water plan on paying for each refill! The rink floor is very slick as well, you can tell because of how shiny it is. A few times I felt my skates sliding sideways when going around curves. I ended up falling here and I hadn't fell in a long time. I fell right on my tailbone hard and it's been 4 weeks now and I'm still having pain. Either cracked or bruised my tailbone. So take precaution and maybe slow your wheels if you come here. I loved the music they played which is mostly hip hop and R&B and the atmosphere was very cool and different than what I'm used to. Three guys were doing jump after jump after jump and I asked them if I could record them and they happily let me. Everybody was very friendly. The owner seemed like a nice guy. I loved the light show and they kept the lights off most of the time so you can appreciate the lights and I think there are black lights too. I can't rate the food because all I got was water. Overall I would come back here if I was in the area again.

We had 10 children and it ended up costing right around 100 dollars. This was including pizza, bounce house, party area and skate rental. The only two negatives are that they only offer pepperoni pizza,so if you have picky eaters they are kind of out of luck. Also, the later it got the harder it was for the little kids to skate safely. There were lots of (well behaved) middle and high school kids going too fast for beginning skaters.

Visiting from New Hampshire Will recommend…read more Would return I actually wasn't quite sure how I was going to feel about this park after reading all of the reviews I kind of felt like I didn't wanna go, but let me just reassure you please make that decision based upon your own experience because mine was very different than what the reviews I was reading about There is plenty of parking you do not have to print your tickets The big issue they're making about coolers is really not that big of an issue. You just have to leave your cooler outside of where the water area is. There's a big covered area where the coolers go, and there was more than a dozen to two dozen coolers left in there and people would just come out of the water area and get their coolers, which was no more than a five minute walk less than Also, there was some complaints about not being able to bring food in there with you again the food you cannot bring into the water area, but you can bring anything you want in the cooler area and honestly, can you only imagine what the water would look like if you allowed all of these people bringing in all this food I was able to rent a locker to fit a beach bag with two towels, two pairs of shoes and a water bottle for $12 all day There was plenty of open chairs to sit on even if you wanted to leave your towels on the chairs nobody was going to be taking your towels I even seen wallets and phones As for the food, sure if you wanna eat before then that would be a great idea. My husband and I each had a chicken finger sandwich that had three large pieces of chicken tender on it and they were hand battered chicken tenders and they were $16 apiece with a bag of chips whatever we were hungry we ate it. It wasn't totally disgusting. We had no lines no waiting for the slides. There are large amount of stairs to the slides, which is why we ended up needing some food during our time here. I also want to point out that all of these waterslides are for multiple riders meaning 2 to 4 there is two slides in the whole park that are single rider slides The park was clean. I went to water parks before it just looks like a waterpark. There wasn't an overabundance of trash, floating in the water like it says there wasn't piles of shit like it says. As for the lifeguards, I also read that they are not very friendly. I find that to be faults. They are all doing their job there so they're not going to go out of their way to interact with you. If you speak to them, you will get spoken back to you, but as you will watch and see them, they are very aggressively doing their jobs So please again make your own review. Don't just not go because of what you're reading and I hope that my review will help you to get there to decide.
