My lady and I do enjoy a good corn maze in the fall. Who doesn't, right? But I have to say this one was by FAR the biggest we ever visited. Definitely was challenging and fun too. We went at night with a big group of friends and had an absolute blast. They were open from 7:30pm until 10pm. Entrance fee is $10 per person. We all reserved a bonfire area near the back to start. The spot itself was very cool and a good distance away from others. Aside from the maize maze, they also have a store selling pumpkin goodies, and a little petting zoo area. As for the maze, they give you a blank puzzle, and your task is to find 12 hidden mailboxes, collect the puzzle pieces inside each, assemble the puzzle, and THEN find the exit via the Victory Bridge. Trust me, it'll take some time to find the mailboxes. It took my team almost two hours to complete it but we really had fun doing it all. This is one amazing maize maze! I can only imagine how long it took them to set it up. My only gripe is that it wasn't open long enough to really enjoy it all, but still, we'd go back again. Plus it would be nice if they had lights near the driveway entrance so it's easy to find. Still, I have a feeling my lady will likely go back next year. read more

I have been to Tom's Maze for years. It's been a go to spot during the Fall Season. I will say in the past couple years I've noticed the evolution of the business and it's been awesome to see. I hope Tom's Maze continoues to build and add on to it's operation. One of my personal favorite features is the pumpkin cannon, it launches a pumpkin incredibly far which is an awesom sight. This is definitely the Jimmy Connors of Corn Mazes. Jimmy was a top tennis player for 5 years straight. Love this place and will keep coming back!! read more

My bff took me to this corn maze for my birthday. It was great fun & a good way to get in some steps. They gave us a paper with 12 sections & as we located each mailbox, we took a coupon from the mailbox & taped it on the proper space on the paper. When completed, it forms a map of the maze. We also took the "train" ride around the perimeter of the property...bumpy but fun. I would go here again & bring a lot of friends with me. read more

Toms Maze was so fun! Doing the maze at night made the maze a little suspenseful, difficult and fun altogether. Their was a concession stand with funnel cakes and the maze changes every year. I think I want to make this an annual event to attend. I look forward to next years maze ! read more

We took the Volleyball Team for some team bonding. We sprang for the Fire Pit, at $40, it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! We had over 40 people with kids and teens. The Fire pit Space 1 was big enough for everyone. (Fire Pit 1 is closest to the action.). There is only one car per space, I highly recommend loading EVERYTHING in one vehicle. We took extra tables and extra chairs. We did smores and a weenie roast, so we needed more table space. I would also suggest some lighting. The maze itself took well over an hour. It is a lot harder than you think, but it is FUN! The staff at Tom's Maze is awesome. I had tons of questions, so Facebook Messaging was the way to go! They came and lit the Fire, had extra wood on hand and were even in the maze. I am not sure where they were, but I saw a HUGE SPIDER and screamed. Within three seconds, they came and liberated the little guy back into the corn. WHEW! If you are part of any group, team, club or just have some friends, I HIGHLY recommend getting everyone together and getting a Fire Pit. This will for sure become an Annual Must Do Fall Event! What an amazing experience! I had such a blast at Tom's Maze. My best friends family was having a gathering for her sister and thought this would be the ideal place to celebrate a fall birthday. They reserved a bonfire spot for 3 hours so we can enjoy grilling hot dogs and s'mores. You can bring chairs, but there are logs around the bonfire. The maze is the most fun to play when it gets close to sunset and night (make sure to bring a flashlight) You have 10 sections to find the missing puzzles (you look for the mailboxes). Once you complete, there is an awesome victory bridge you can view the whole corn maze. The maze is pretty cool and not narrow. Warning: if it rained the day before make sure to wear boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. The grounds can be muddy. Besides the maze, there is a section for you to look at the goats and donkeys, they have a small store where you can buy pumpkins and drinks, food, and old school trailer that sells hot food and picnic tables to lounge around. My son drove our Honda Accord over to Tom's Maze for a visit. He brought it home with a crushed rocker panel and lots of other evidence that it bottomed out several times at Tom's. I loved my trip to Tom's Maze. We came here to celebrate my sisters birthday and it was wonderful. We rented one of the campfire sites. It was $40 for a small site which accommodates 15-75 people for 3 hours. You still have to pay an additional $8 per person for admission to the maze. They came back and got the fire started and provided a small pile of wood to keep the fire going. There were logs all around the fire for seating and a large picnic table as well. It was wonderful. Up toward the main maze area there is a small labyrinth made of flowering bushes, a no right turn and a no left turn maze as well as a color maze. The color maze is basically colored hoses laid on the ground that you have to hop over in a particular pattern. It sounds lame but was actually super fun and challenging. The big draw however is Tom's puzzle maze. It's huge! We brought flashlights and waited until dark to get started which made it even more fun and challenging. It took us over an hour to make our way through. There are 12 sections with mailboxes hidden in each section. Each mailbox has a puzzle piece inside that you tape to your map. Collect all 12 pieces to complete the puzzle. We split up into teams and raced to see who could finish first. We finished up by watching the pumpkin cannon shoot a pumpkin into the sky and sipping hot coco and cider (only $1 each) from the small store. If you're looking for a fun fall activity, visit Tom's Maze. My friends and I went around 8PM. The weather was perfect and found at night makes it an even bigger challenge. They have plenty of port-o-potty's around the land and they even have one in the maze if you need to make a stop. They have a store that has a huge variety of pumpkins you can purchase along with a little food truck that serves snacks including funnel cakes. We're going to make this a yearly trip! read more

Contrary to what the website states, Tom's is not family friendly and they did not honor their claim that retired vets get in free. We have a small, three pound Maltese that we carried in a sling. The woman at the entrance allowed us to bring him in and we were later harassed by three other workers about having the dog. The "concession " trailer appeared to be open so we approached and before we were five feet away the two female workers rudely yelled "we're not open." How could the concessions trailer physically be open with workers inside on a busy Saturday not be open? The maze was average and the overall experience was terrible. Extremely disappointed. Had campfire reservation for 15 people, got there to find out where to go since no prior instructions were provided. Admission line was ridiculously long, so went to the concession stand for information. Was met with the rudest employee I've ever met, that wouldn't even answer a question without me purchasing admission to the farm first. You may have gotten my non refundable reservation fee, but you missed out on the $150 worth of admission fees from my group. Disrespectful and rude. There's way to many farms around just like this one to tolerate such treatment. read more

This was my first time walking through the maze. First super easy to find the place. Plenty of road signs before the turn. Great parking too....caution wear old shoes...muddy paths. $9 per person is a little pricey only kids 12 and under are cheaper. Check their website for $1 off coupon for entry. The kids had a great time following the puzzle map. Mailboxes were very well hidden. We finished in just a little less than hour. ..but you go at your own pace. The kids loved the pumpkin chunk canon but it only one an hour. So watch your time. The place is great for all ages. Even saw some folks with strollers. Nice little concession stand and store, even plenty of picnic tables for everyone. We'll come back next year...kids can even go on there own only 12 and under need adult. read more

We went on an off day because we didn't want to be packed into the maze with lots of people. The general idea is you are given a large sheet of paper and instructed to find 12 mailboxes in the maze that are divided into sections with a certain color, stripe or dots. The mailboxes house a map for the section you are in which you then tape to the designated section of the paper you are given upon entry to make a complete map. We were told it would take us 1 hour to get through the maze. Not much to see beyond the maze. I spied a toddler straw maze, sunflower field, and a flower labyrinth upon entering and looking to the left. We entered the maze in the orange area which is your quick escape and there were several groups already in trying to locate the mailboxes. Unfortunately you could hear them yelling, "found it." Bummer. This was my biggest problem as the maze is a puzzle to solve individually but not with other shouting out to others to follow their voice and they will find the "blue mailbox." This isn't necessarily the fault of Tom's but I do find fault with the mailboxes they use that house three tape dispensers and the map pieces which everyone is touching. Yuck. No hand sanitizer anywhere. We had our own. The observation deck is a nightmare when you have multiple people up there taking photos, trying to find the mailboxes etc. It's very narrow. I wish there was an employee overseeing the area asking people to please practice social distancing and consider time allotments for others to explore. We managed to complete the maze in 37 minutes. Was it luck? I am not sure but we crossed the victory bridge covered in dirt. I'm pretty sure we had a brown dust cloud like pig pen from Snoopy but we took our winner shot and headed out. We didn't stop in the store. No idea what it housed. read more

Tom's Maze is the ultimate corn maze. Accept no substitutes. We have visited this farm each fall for years, and every year, the 8-acre maze is expertly designed and challenging. At the start of the maze, you're given a blank map. Your task is to find the hidden mailbox in each of the 12 sections to complete the map. (have no fear, though, you can always leave the maze by finding the outside path.) If you're up for a challenge and want to convince yourself you're doing something a little "spooky," complete the maze in the dark. Plus, Tom shoots off glow-in-the-dark pumpkins at night. Bring flashlights! This year, since we have toddlers, we're going in the day and will avail ourselves of the kid-friendly features like the mini hay bale maze. There are some concessions, but I recommend not planning to eat a meal at Tom's. It's just hot dogs and nachos, after all. read more

This is a covid superspreader event. The employee at the start of the maze didn't even have a mask on along with 95% of the the people there that weren't practicing social distancing. Really sad this place doesn't care about the safety of their customers. read more

Tom's Maze was a lot bigger than I imagined. It's all real corn, and it's a must for local Ohioans looking to experience a genuine fall outing. Aside from the corn maze, there is a pumpkin chuckin' truck parked on the premises. It is an old fashioned fire truck adapted solely for the use of shooting pumpkins up to a half-mile. There is a goat pen on there too, with different ladders and levels for the goats to climb on. There is also a chicken roost. I bought a couple of unique pumpkins there in the pumpkin patch, which were said to be perfect for cooking pumpkin pies with. The food truck is cheap and serves the basics: nachos, dogs, elephant ears, and funnel cakes. There are a few picnic benches to sit on but they stay pretty full. read more

No refunds! Not customer friendly. I went with my family to Toms Maze tonight. We purchased a ticket but in the few minutes before we could go in I got sick. Tom won't refund because you pay to come on the "farm". It's called toms Maze. We paid to do a maze but apparently Tom thinks a parking lot and a picnic table are amusements and charges you to look at them. Family run but NOT family friendly. Do yourself a favor and go to Young's instead where there is actually other stuff to do and they treat you right. read more

This was so much fun! I wasn't sure what to expect - I mean, I grew up in the Midwest and never tried a corn maze. Then, of course, there are all the jokes about Corn mazes being one of those "basic" activities. Well, I had a blast! It is more than just a maze - it is a puzzle to solve. You have to find all of the pieces to complete the maze and still find your way out. Took us just over an hour. You will need a flashlight once it gets dark. There aren't any lights in the maze. There IS a portapotty inside - if you can find it! I highly recommend giving this a try! read more

I have went every year for the past 8 years and it's always amazing. The design each year is so different and the concept is the best. What other corn maze gives you such a challenge? None that I know of. Most you have to walk in and find an exit. This maze allows you to go in, get lost in one of the 12 sections and find 12 mailboxes, 1 per section. Each section is marked by caution tape that's patterned or a different color and they hand you a blank map with a key on the back telling you which tape means which section. Once you find a mailbox you unlock a piece to the map of the maze, collect all 12 and head to the victory bridge to be the victor. We go as a group every year and do the first one together and split up and see who can win. It's the most fun I have all fall and I recommend it to everyone. The owner and his wife are very friendly people and always welcoming, and they have other attractions too such as a no left turn maze (which is a challenge), a garden labyrinth, and you can see animals and watch them launch a big pumpkin across their farm. They also have a small store to buy pumpkins and fall themed items and drinks and some food for afterwards. Definitely go here, it's the best hands down. read more

My friends and I went here for a fun fall outing. The drive is worth it and it's so much fun. We went here as it was getting dark and had our flashlights on us. There was a pretty long line but went down quick. When he were in the maze, it was pretty safe going through it. They keep it pretty clear of stalks or debris in the path. Even though there were a lot people in front of us, it didn't seem crowded in the corn maze. This year we had to find 12 mailboxes in sections marked by different color and pattern ribbon. Each mailbox was a piece to put on the map we get at the beginning. There is a bridge in the middle of the maze for people can get a higher view of the extravagant maze. Once all pieces are collected, you can leave the maze. If you want to leave sooner you can too. On one corner of the farm, they put painted glow in the dark pumpkins in the pumpkin chucker and shoot it every hour. Really neat to see. They also have a hayride and assorted pumpkins to choose from plus they do have some refreshments and food. I am definitely coming here again! read more
