I LOVE VISITING KINGS ISLAND!!…read more This was another great visit to Kings Island with the family. This place just keeps delivering. The kids area is extensive and incredibly well done, with rides and attractions that work for a wide range of ages. It's clear they've thought about the adults too: plenty of shade and comfortable spots to wait while the kids burn off all that energy, which makes a huge difference on a long day (or a short day, you know!) One of my favorite traditions is lunch in the Festhaus. Being able to cool off, catch a show, and enjoy LaRosa's pizza is always a win. The pizza itself is great (as always), though I'll admit the pizza/breadstick combo is a little odd. The breadsticks are pretty doughy and don't have much flavor. Not terrible, just not the highlight. The true star, though, is the blue ice cream in the kids area. It's pure nostalgia, genuinely delicious, and the long line proves I'm not alone in thinking that. Even better, the line moves fast, so it's never a dealbreaker. Pizza and blue ice cream are a must for me every single visit--no exceptions. Kings Island continues to be a place we look forward to coming back to. Great for families, thoughtfully designed, and full of those little traditions that keep pulling you back year after year.

Then you go over to check out & there's 4 registers open but only 1 at a time is ever occupied since only 1 order comes out every 30 secs. So 3 workers are staring at phones! So poorly organized. Our Mac & cheese was so cold we couldn't eat it so had to go back & request another which had a 5 mins wait for another batch. Ice was piled up on every drink dispenser to laughable levels & again there's still 3 check out girls "picking their nose" just 3' away. We left early b/c it was pretty awful.

Plus, they have some quiet places for adults to relax and recharge. The adult only jacuzzi is one. It's especially great in the evening when the kids program starts in the lobby. Also, I like that they are good employers and employ people with special needs. The lifeguards are top notch, as are the employees working the slides. My lady and I do enjoy a good corn maze in the fall. Who doesn't, right? But I have to say this one…read morewas by FAR the biggest we ever visited. Definitely was challenging and fun too. We went at night with a big group of friends and had an absolute blast. They were open from 7:30pm until 10pm. Entrance fee is $10 per person. We all reserved a bonfire area near the back to start. The spot itself was very cool and a good distance away from others. Aside from the maize maze, they also have a store selling pumpkin goodies, and a little petting zoo area. As for the maze, they give you a blank puzzle, and your task is to find 12 hidden mailboxes, collect the puzzle pieces inside each, assemble the puzzle, and THEN find the exit via the Victory Bridge. Trust me, it'll take some time to find the mailboxes. It took my team almost two hours to complete it but we really had fun doing it all. This is one amazing maize maze! I can only imagine how long it took them to set it up. My only gripe is that it wasn't open long enough to really enjoy it all, but still, we'd go back again. Plus it would be nice if they had lights near the driveway entrance so it's easy to find. Still, I have a feeling my lady will likely go back next year.

Large floatable obstacle courses in the manmade lake that they have in the back...EVERYONE HAS to wear a lifejacket (good luck trying to find the right size)...and the lifeguards WILL yell at you even if you BARELY have your feet in the water! It's a LONG walk to the bathroom and changing area, as well as kiddie area and condensations! Overall, had a great time, but it would be a once in a blue moon visit for me...little pricey as well!
