My boys love to bowl! I'm hopeless but I have fun doing it, and Bowl 10 has been a place we've been very curious to try. I am so glad we did! What a gem this place is! We ended up having an amazing night, and cannot wait to go back again. I have a feeling we will become regulars here, as it is close, the food is great for a bowling place, and the staff are truly warm wonderful people to interact with. Their facility is surprisingly modern and well kept. You can really tell somebody put a lot of love and vision into this business within a few minutes of looking around. The sofas where you sit as you bowl are done in a plush velour-esque fabric, and overall, were in great condition. Their bathrooms looked like something I'd expect of a fancy restaurant with their recessed lighting and beautifully done mirrors and new fixtures. I can always tell a lot about a business by the condition of it's bathrooms! If the bathrooms are neglected and dirty, imagine what the kitchen, behind the scenes where you cannot see, looks like! This place passed the test. Their full bar was done tastefully in black and white tile, had ample seating, with a wrap around bar and many flat screen televisions playing sports. Football season anyone? This place would be a fun place to bring the whole family, kids too, for a sports night out! Their cute little arcade room in the back seemed like a fun hangout for middle aged children and for birthdays while they even have a gathering room set aside for small informal meetings that looked like a cozy place to socialize in semi-private. They have lockers available (for purchase I assume) and vending machines if their bar menu doesn't do it for you, but with options like Burgers, Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwiches (with thin sliced ham) and unique options like their signature Funnel Cake Fries served with REAL Maple Syrup from a local farm or how about some Deep Fried Soft Pretzels with Cheese Sauce, you'll be sure to find something you're interested in. Their food is very reasonably priced, made right, and according to my Husband, absolutely delicious comfort style food. They have 20 lanes available for your bowling pleasure. Their lane prices were very reasonable; our bill came to $40.00 for three of us to bowl two games, shoe rental, two appetizers, one entree and four drinks, three of which were alcoholic. My Husband was impressed that they had good beer available (he had a Blue Moon) served with a wedge of orange, and I had a glass of White Zinfandel. I wish they had better wine options! I bet, with how awesome this place is, if I asked or suggested it, they would probably listen though! This place is a hidden gem, and as I said before, we all cannot wait to go back. A great night was had by all! Thank you Bowl 10! I give this establishment five enthusiastic stars! Sure, you can find fancier joints with twice as many lanes and cheaper prices with specials considered; but honestly, if feeling welcome and relaxed, a fair price for fair service, great comfort food, outstanding service and overall enjoyment were the only criteria here, I would give them six stars if I could. Highly, highly recommended. I've heard on the weekends they have "cosmic bowling" too, and judging by the vast array of lights and neat reactive paint on the walls, I'd say it is a gorgeous display!

This started out as a business trip, and turned into bowling. If you are from a small town, somewhere in the Midwest, than this review might be meaningless to you, but Victory Lanes was a TREAT! First of all, it was snowy outside, so indoor activities were at a premium. That said, there was a $3 dollar cover to do 'the special', which after that included, GET THIS!!!: $1 per game $1 12oz draft beers $3 shoe rental We played eight games, drank 4 beers, rented shoes... Everyone got out of there for around $10 bucks -total. Unbelievable!!!! Fantastic!!! That would be worth at least four stars at a total dump, but Victory was well maintained, clean, and staffed by wonderful people. I think I found a reason to get excited about returning to Springfield Ohio!

Also the guys at the pro shop have measured and drilled 2 balls now for us and they too are very professional and get things done in a timely manner. Highly recommend this bowling alley.

I'm from Cincinnati area but was visiting family in Dayton in July and me and my cousin decided to…read morego here. It was a different atmosphere than Cincinnati and Kentucky rinks. It was cool though, more outgoing, more laid back. There was a lot of people doing dance skating and jumps. One annoying thing I noticed, There were groups of people that would be in the middle of the rink, not in the center area but right smack in the middle of where everybody is skating, and they would be doing a dance in one spot where everybody was trying to skate. That was kind of annoying and that would never fly in Cincinnati rinks! If you weren't careful you might plow right into them. And if you are skating they won't move out of your way, you're expected to go around them! It would be ok if they went into the center circle but they don't, they are out where everybody is skating. I was told by an experienced skater that this is "Dayton style skating" and every city has a different style of skating. The other thing that I didn't like was that there are no refills on water, even if you reuse the same cup! I asked the owner about this because I drink a lot of water and my rink in Cincinnati gives free refills as long as you use the same cup, but he said he couldn't do that. So if you drink water plan on paying for each refill! The rink floor is very slick as well, you can tell because of how shiny it is. A few times I felt my skates sliding sideways when going around curves. I ended up falling here and I hadn't fell in a long time. I fell right on my tailbone hard and it's been 4 weeks now and I'm still having pain. Either cracked or bruised my tailbone. So take precaution and maybe slow your wheels if you come here. I loved the music they played which is mostly hip hop and R&B and the atmosphere was very cool and different than what I'm used to. Three guys were doing jump after jump after jump and I asked them if I could record them and they happily let me. Everybody was very friendly. The owner seemed like a nice guy. I loved the light show and they kept the lights off most of the time so you can appreciate the lights and I think there are black lights too. I can't rate the food because all I got was water. Overall I would come back here if I was in the area again.

We had 10 children and it ended up costing right around 100 dollars. This was including pizza, bounce house, party area and skate rental. The only two negatives are that they only offer pepperoni pizza,so if you have picky eaters they are kind of out of luck. Also, the later it got the harder it was for the little kids to skate safely. There were lots of (well behaved) middle and high school kids going too fast for beginning skaters.

This review is for our pre-event reservation experience. We did not end up holding our event at the…read moreEngineers Club, so we cannot review it in that capacity. We are not local to Dayton (we live on the west coast), or what happened might have been avoided or handled far earlier. We rented the auditorium at the Engineer's Club for our wedding welcome event. We were going to have a movie night, and told them this up front. We saw photos online of movie nights in the Engineer's Club auditorium and were excited to have a similar event there. When we signed the agreement, we were told that the movie equipment, including "dvd player, projector, movie screen, and sound system," would cost $200 on top of the $900 venue rental fee. We signed the agreement and paid the non-refundable $900 deposit that was required (the full venue fee). We asked if a lower deposit was possible, but were told no. Four months before the event, we flew to Dayton and visited the Club to meet the event director and walk through the space to go over the plans. In the auditorium was a small presentation screen. The kind set up on its own free-standing easel. Imagine the old overhead projector screens from school in the 90s--the screen was smaller than our home television. We were told that was the movie screen for our event with an estimated 120 guest count (as written in the agreement). It turned out that if we wanted an actual movie screen that fit the auditorium, we'd have to pay even more to rent it and a projector from an outside AV company. We admit we were at fault for not confirming more details (movie screen dimensions, projector model/capability) before signing and paying the deposit. But the Engineer's Club could have been more clear and transparent about what facilities they had, and that our event was not a good fit for their space unless we were willing to spend more. Rather than paying the additional rental costs, we found a charming movie theater in Miamisburg for less than half the price, and it included all the tech required to show a full-size movie. The Engineer's Club agreed to refund a portion of our deposit, which was kind, but we were still out a significant amount of money because of how expensive their original deposit was. Because of our experience, I cannot recommend planning a private event here.
