Large, with many things to do. A shelter right next to it for the parents, and some benches around too. She didn't want to leave. We went up the hill thinking there was another exit, but no, another park area- with another playground! Smaller, and busier, but still fun. Parking right next to it, plenty of shade. Loads of ball fields, plenty of open space, a splash pad, shelters, bathrooms, lots of parking. A veterans memorial at the base of the hill. Room for anything you want to do, and lots of facilities. Really great.

Many kids were playing at the park! But we played in the sand and used one of the many baby swings! This park is so much fun for kids of all ages! I brought a baby that's walking with assistance, and she had a blast! Other kids seemed to love running around and then cooling off in the splash pad. They also have a wetland path that connects to the other wetlands in the area. We just started playing more regularly on the baseball fields in the back and they are nicely maintained. My almost 4 year old grandson really enjoys riding his scooter and his balance bike (with no pedals) all through the neighborhood. We went out several times to do this and his favorite destination was to go to Wedgewood Park. It's a small community park that we can access at the end of a dead end street. Cars can also drive to it. There is a decent size parking lot and a jungle jim with 3 different size slides, tennis courts, soccer field and a swing set with both baby and kid size swings. Until recently the swing set and jungle jim were closed off due to covid-19. The park is seperated from the nearby homes by a cluster of trees. Slides, swings, climbing stuff, springy animal things, teeter totters, etc. Baby K loved it. Too hot to stay long, sadly, and too sunny so some things were hot. There's a big shelter, plus several smaller ones with single picnic tables underneath. Benches all around, a small skate park, large green space, decent amounts of shade trees.
