Orchardly Park is an excellent park for kids of all ages! There are swings (for babies and big kids), many play sets (even a smaller one for younger kids), a splash pad, a sand pit, basketball courts, and a picnic shelter. I took an almost one-year-old baby here today. It is only street parking, but there were plenty of spots. The park has many trees, so there were spots of shade for us to rest. Many kids were playing at the park! But we played in the sand and used one of the many baby swings! This park is so much fun for kids of all ages! I brought a baby that's walking with assistance, and she had a blast! Other kids seemed to love running around and then cooling off in the splash pad. Highly recommend going here with your kiddos to get out of the house! read more

This is a great park for big and little kids! There's a little sandy area for babies with construction trucks in it. You can pretend you're a construction worker. LOL. There's about six swings, two or three playgrounds, and more baby swings. Parking isn't too bad here either. And, for the big kids, there's basketball hoops and tennis courts. The restrooms weren't too bad. (Unlike Shoup park - there's just a port-o-potty there!). The restrooms are next to the tennis courts. read more

What an awesome park!! It has two sprawling jungle gyms, a huge sand box filled with activities, a small water park or fountain, plenty of space for the kids to run around, baby swings, regular swings and bench swings! There are are even clean restrooms! Parking can be challenging when this place is busy because it doesn't have its own lot and it's right in the middle of a residential area. read more

Great park for all ages. Our two year old loved the sand pit area and slides. Bathrooms were in need of some tlc.

A great and clean playground for small children. Bring your tennis racket or your basketball if you so wish. Street parking only, and clean restrooms. This park is full of kids playing on a sunny day!! read more

I am a nanny and took the kids I watch to Orchardly Park today. It was a 40 minute drive, but worth it! The playground was amazing and the playsets were great. Everything looked meticulously maintained. In fact, there was a park worker there blowing grass and sand off of the sidewalks to keep them clear. The area was just beautiful! The kids had an absolute blast. Between the giant sand pit, unique climbing equipment and gorgeous environment - it was great and we will be going back. The only reason I gave this park 4 stars is because the splash pad was down - the activator had been duct taped so the water wouldn't turn on. This was the main reason I chose to go to this park rather than any other, and the kids and I were quite disappointed upon realizing the splash pad wasn't an option - especially on a hot summer day. It ended up being a great time, even without the splash pad! I, and the kids, definitely recommend this park! read more

I was staying with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson Jude in Dayton two weekends ago. My daughter told me about this wonderful park that Jude loves to play at. It was a sunny afternoon and it was easy to find a spot to park on the street. Here are several swing sets with swings for both little and older kids. There is a seesaw that Jude and a little girl enjoyed a lot. The waterworks area is a bit smaller than others but clearly a big draw for families. It has a nice canopy area for some shade to sit and relax while the kids play. The biggest draw is the sand pit with running water and shovels, trucks and a water trough. Jude loves it! He also liked climbing on the large play structure next to the sand pit that had the bigger slide and swings and a fun and challenging bridge to climb across. The only downside is the lack of shade by the sand pit area on a hot sunny early afternoon but the kids did not seem to mind that. I did not go over there but I saw that on the other side of the park is a field to run and play in with a picnic shelter and restrooms. I hope I can return here with jude to have more fun. Also it is worth mentioning that Orchardly Park is just a few blocks away from a Graeter's ice cream where you can get a delicious treat to eat at the park. Its a very cute, fun park. But they don't allow pets which really sucks. My Frenchie Bella was so excited, but when we pulled up we saw no pets were allowed. I feel leashed animals should be allowed anywhere thats outside. Kind of sad that they ban animals from an outdoor space. read more

Great play ground. So many jungle gyms(great for climbers), a really nice sand pit with interactive water element and diggers, a cute spray ground, and benches, (some under canopies) all around, some mature trees for shade, a field to run and kick balls, a hand ball wall,a shelter with picnic tables, and clean restrooms on location. It is partially fenced off from the main road but if you have a small runner you will need to keep an eye. There is on street parking located all around the park in the neighborhood and lots of trees so you can park under shade. The neighborhood is safe and quaint as well. Graeters ice cream is a quick drive away as well. What more could you want? read more

Amazing little park in Dayton with a huge playground and water park for the kids. We bring our baby here and he has a great time playing on the equipment. There is also a big sandbox and plenty of room for running around. read more

Great park for kids of all ages! Our three year old loved the huge sand pit (which has fountains for mud in the summer, we hear) and the multiple playsets. Really nice, new playground equipment; great variety! Busy but not crowded; lots of young kids, older kids playing basketball, and adults playing tennis. read more
