There are also some awesome balance equipment to try! Something else to note: This park is not well shaded in the evenings. I brought a 3 year old to the park and while she had a lot of fun, it was quite challenging for her to climb on much of the equipment. There are also only two small slides which weren't easily accessible for her. They have a few toddler swings and a handicap accessible swing that she had fun trying!

I see deer, birds, butterflies, moths, and bees among other animals. The trails are always well-maintained and CWPD is quick to fix anything that isn't. I love that it's connected to Forest Field too for additional trails and amenities. They do have an indoor bathroom at Smith house. They also have added a really nice picnic shelter with durable picnic tables.

There are two awesome and obscure shaped monkey bars, many spinning seats, and large slides! They also have a great area with various giant musical instruments to play. On the far side of the playground there is a splash pad. It was still on and running today! This park is wide open and had so much space for the kids to run and play. It also has two baby and regular swings, monkey bars, and one of those gliders. There is a lot of green space and a small hiking trail that leads to another park entrance. That side of the park has one baby and one regular swing, picnic tables, and more green space. I'm glad that the park district had a challenge at this fun little park. It's a nice little place for kids to play, perfect for those five and under.

So have to grab the moments before it hits. This day was a wind storm right before the bitter cold was back. I walked around and even walked the trails with a friend. So good to be outside. The flowers were lovely but the wind was fierce. This park does such a great job keeping everything lovely which I so appreciate and its a fav of mine for years. So many special memories here. Please be courteous and dont pick the flowers. This isn't your yard and if everyone picked just one there would be none for the next to enjoy. I saw parents promoting their children to pick flowers and filming it. . This is so selfish and rude. Am I wrong?

They have also added a little wetlands area nearby to explore. The park features a splash pad, a gym structure, swings, tennis courts, baseball fields, picnic shelter, bathrooms, and plenty of green space. My kids enjoy the splash pad and have become braver with it. They also like the playground. The slides and ground get really hot during the summer so I'd wish they'd do something about that. I think the playground is a decent size, but pretty small during the very busy summer months. I like that the splash pad is open and my kids can run around and still be easily spotted. They have ample parking even with daycare/camp buses.

This place, as the other reviewer mentioned so kindly (helped me to find it!) is off of the beaten path and if you don't know where it is you will most likely miss it. Even my GPS couldn't find the address! You just have to know it is across the street from Bills Donuts, up the hill a little and to the right. There is a concrete sign at the corner that lets you know it's time to turn! The park itself is a decent size with a lot of variety within it's walls. You can play ball, take a stroll in the grass, enjoy their really fun looking water park area I am assuming comes on once it is hot enough outside. There is a really modern well maintained play area for kids with a working water fountain (pretty rare these days, eh?) and really unique elements within the play structure like the huge rocking booth see-saw for example. I would have gone crazy for this place as a kid! I took a ton of photos and posted them to the listing, if you want to get a better idea of the play structure. It really is wonderful, I highly recommend a visit! We drive 30 minutes out of our way for it once a month, and it's always an enjoyable experience.

I've been (re)discovering some of the area's beautiful metro parks, and this Sunday's late…read moreafternoon visit to Bellebrook's Sugarcreek Metro Park was a real treat!! Shady and cool, in spite of the humid weather, and the best-marked trails I've seen at any of the Metro Parks I've visited so far!! I took the orange and blue trails, and even with my lousy sense of direction, I never got lost once!! Be sure to see the Three Sisters (now only two...) 550 year old white oaks on the orange trail, and the beautiful Orange Osage Tunnel, a real gem. Can't wait to check them both out in the fall!! Worth a visit... A true gem in the Five Rivers crown!!

I took an almost one-year-old baby here today. It is only street parking, but there were plenty of spots. The park has many trees, so there were spots of shade for us to rest. Many kids were playing at the park! But we played in the sand and used one of the many baby swings! This park is so much fun for kids of all ages! I brought a baby that's walking with assistance, and she had a blast! Other kids seemed to love running around and then cooling off in the splash pad. Highly recommend going here with your kiddos to get out of the house!

What I found was a pleasant park, even i winter, with a couple of football fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, and a walking trail. I was there for the walking trail, which is a -0.8 mile loop that followed the perimeter of the park. It's paved with asphalt, so it's a pretty good surface for walks during or after in lemony weather. Except for one corner of the park that does not drain well. This clearly is a favorite place for people in the neighborhood to walk their dogs. Overall a very pleasant place. Just not a place where you can take a walk in the woods. It's in a newer, nice neighborhood.
