I like Tommy Bahama. So I love to check out this outlet when I'm in the Vacaville Premium outlet. This Tommy Bahama Outlet is one of the biggest Tommy Bahama Outlets in California. I found more beautiful clothes and bargains in this store than in any other Tommy Bahama store I have shopped. They have lots of clearances item all the way inside the store. The salesperson is always very friendly and attentive. I am immensely enjoyed shopping there every time! read more

IMHO I love Tommy Bahama but wish this outlet store was closer to me. On the way home from the Cal Expo State Fair, I finally had my opportunity to stop by the Vacaville Outlets. I was searching for a great deal on ANYTHING, but unfortunately didn't find anything to my liking. However, my husband found a Tommy Bahama SF baseball shirt and although it was a size smaller than his usual, it was a comfortable-enough fit, and it was 40% off! It was a no brainer, he had to get it! At least someone left the store with something...Next time for me, but it might not be for another year. read more

On the way to a wedding in Sacramento we stopped here really quick to the annoyance of everyone else in the car. I really wanted some Tommy Bahama clothing, but not at the extreme pricing they are known for. In that case, this is the place. Almost everything here is 50-60% percent off and this is the legit Tommy Bahama brand. So you're getting clothes that were actually at their other locations at huge savings. I was like a kid at a candy store as I didn't know where to start, especially since I was on a limit time schedule due to everyone waiting on me. The service was great as I was helped very quickly with little fuss. They have a HUGE assortment of clothing and this location is even larger than their actual regular stores. First store that I have experienced a policy that will not accept returns or store credit - you bought it you own it! Which they do not tell you when you purchase the item - at time of purchase they circle the policy on the receipt and stuff it in the bag. When I go to Sacramento for an NBA game, I take an hour and visit the outlet mall. My first stop (well, the second one after grabbing a sandwich at Subway) is this story. Great merchandise at fair prices (the full retail is prohibitively expensive), top notch quality but just as important, the service. I love camp shirts, and the silk and linen shirts they have are always nice fitting and well made. Great cargo shorts too. Would never pay full price, but the sale price here is very doable. Staff is always helpful and genuinely friendly. It's an outlet, so product lines offered is limited, but I have never been disappointed in anything I have purchased here. read more

What is that saying? Things just don't happen by coincidence? Yeah, I think that's the one. Let me tell you about a serendipitous moment. Last weekend, I was supposed to go on a rather long hike. But, because I'm starting to intensely work out, my calves were hurting - bad. I don't think I could have even walked half a block. My hiking buddy suggested shopping... and I was totally down. So we trekked up to Vacaville for some outlet shopping. I haven't been to those outlets in literally years - like maybe 5 or 6 years? Anyway, I had no idea there was a Tommy Bahama outlet there. Actually, I've never even been into a regular Tommy Bahama... but since I've got several hot weather/tropical/beachy vacations coming up, I thought I'd take a step into this store. What I found in the store was this incredibly helpful sales person, Norma. She helped my friend with one of those nice silk shirts... helping him with size and color. Then I started to seriously look around the store. I had actually walked by this dress 3-4 times purposely avoiding it because I was afraid of the cost. It was marked $178. I just couldn't justify spending that much on a dress that I'd wear only a couple times in hot weather places. (Oh, and I already have several scarf dresses that are traveling with me to these hot weather places... so really, I didn't need it). But that dress... I just had to try it on. I tried it on, and it just looked so good that desire overcame practicality and I decided to purchase it. To my surprise, when Norma rang up that purchase, the dress came out to $69. Even Norma was surprised - no one knew it was that much more discounted. I even wore the dress at this Hawaiian event this last week and got tons of compliments on the dress... cannot wait to wear it again! So I have a Hubby who is 6'4" who likes/needs his shorts on the long side. When he finds a pair he likes, he'll pay a little more for quality and keeps those shorts until they can't be patched up anymore. With that in mind, we hit up the Calvin Klein Outlet store across the way, thinking we could find him a replacement pair. No such luck, in the quality, choice, or price categories. So, since I know Hubby's style, I suggested the Tommy Bahama Outlet store. I figured if we couldn't find shorts, there would be quite a few shirts from which he could choose, now that he seems to like those cabana-type shirts. As luck would have it, we found the perfect pair of shorts for him that were a great neutral tan color and were the exact length he loves (right at the knees). And let me tell you, finding shorts that go to his knees would be long pants on most other folks! Plus, you could tell the quality of the shorts by the feel of the very sturdy fabric...these babies are gonna last a long while! I actually tried talking him into another pair of shorts that were a grey plaid, but he wimped and stuck with the one neutral pair...might have to come back and get him that pair for his birthday or Christmas or something!! Like I said, Hubby will pay for quality, and even with all the 30% plus an extra 20% off, the shorts still came to just over $50. But hey, these shorts are gonna last for years, so it was a wise "investment" in comfort. read more

I have to go to a wedding in Puerto Vallarta over Thanksgiving, and the dress code is "beach/tropical". However, knowing my family, this really means "wear Tommy Bahama". As in, you will get asked if that's a *real* Tommy Bahama you're wearing. There was a time when I too idolized those 100% silk shirts with the beautiful prints. Initially I didn't buy them because I couldn't afford them, and now that I can, I find myself up on a high horse snubbing my nose at the consumerist fetish for "luxury" clothes. Thanks a lot, San Francisco. I briefly considered just defiantly wearing some retro secondhand stuff I'd found in a Mission thrift shop, but ultimately I'd rather just chalk it up as a social obligation than make some stupid statement about voluntary genteel poverty. After all, is it that different than when I have to wear a kurta pyjama to a wedding on my wife's side? But then, indian clothes are cheap, and waltzing into the Tommy Bahama's at the Westfield and picking up the first shirt and slacks I saw would run me like $250. Then I hit on an idea: why not go to Vacaville? Ordinarily I'd consider that a ridiculous drive just to go shopping, but there were some hikes I wanted to check out that way, and I can never resist a chance to run two errands on one tank of gas. Sure enough, it paid off. I got one of their signature shirts for $30 (they retail for $110 these days), and a good deal on some linen shorts. The outlet center as a whole isn't bad either, considering it feels like you're in a typical suburban neighborhood. If you've ever been to the dust-strewn outlets of Barstow, you'll know why this is actually a good thing. read more

Deep discounts (30 - 70%). The trick is that clothes are sold off-season (i.e. short sleeves in winter, long sleeves in the summer). The staff us always friendly & willing to assist. The Vacaville location is one of only 2 TB outlets in California and it's bigger than most of their retail stores. If you find yourself shopping in Vacaville then stop by. There are lots of other retailers at the outlet & Sam's Club, Costco & Best Buy are also nearby. read more

Tommy Bahama's my husband's favorite store. It wasn't so much of my style but guess what. After having my baby, Tommy Bahama size kind of fit me better. I always complained their size being too big. Whenever we go there(2-3 times a year), they had huge sale up to 75% off. Last time I was there, 50% off from the sale price. Amazing deal! This is a good outlet store with lots of discount. This place is definitely cheaper than the prices you'd find at the regular stores but still a bit on the pricey side. They have good quality men's shirts for vacationing in and the silk shirts are really nice too. They hold up well after washing and travel well. I like the smell of their candles, which are great when they are on sale. Definitely peep out the clearance racks in the back 'cuz it seems they turn over their inventory pretty quickly. read more

I have never been a fan of the outlet stores where every they are but had heard from a friend that the Tommy Bahama store was different. The selection, the sales staff & the service was nothing like any of the other discount/outlet stores I had ever been in. We happen to be there on a great sales incentive weekend and we took it to heart and chose not only great shirts and pants but we chose several of the house hold and patio items at great savings too. We are "AAA" member and had the flyer for an additional 10% off at the check out. I cannot say enough about the items we walked out of there with at a price that we can all afford. read more

If you love tommy Bahamas's but can't choke down their prices then this is the store for you. We were up in Sacramento for the evening visiting family before heading to Gilroy for a surprise party. Decided to stop on the way as I love wearing their silk paints to work. The pants were 50% off the normal price so it justified the detour. What a rip off! My husband bought a shirt here the other day and I went to exchange it for a different one. The first shirt he purchased was 30% off and the purchase today was 50% off. I could not get a refund on my credit card nor could I get a store credit. I had to go spend $25 for stuff I didn't need from the store. I feel like Tommy Bahama just stole $25 from me. The men's selection is excellent and at half off, Tommy Bahama pricing seems good (I'm not sure I'd pay $150 for these shirts retail, but $75 is a good price for silk). The women's section is far more "vacation only" whereas the men's side has more everyday casual. read more

Went up to visit this store as part of a 6 Flags visit. I have been waiting 5 years to visit this store--it did not disappoint! Exceptional Service--just what you expect when visiting a store with quality products for the discerning consumer--polished! Great Prices--I felt a little guilty as I usually order and pay full price from the Tommy online store. I averaged about 65% in savings off my purchases. 2/3 off the listed price makes this a great value. I wish it was bigger store that carried other Tommy products but with only clothes, I think it is worth a visit. read more

After going to 13 stores and having no luck we last ditch came here. Knowing they were expensive we didn't want to spend this much (average men's shirts were $60+). We found a beautiful 100% silk shirt that would work perfectly for the dinner we were heading to (and it was 50% off). Johnathon, Noel, and Keisha were totally helpful. Johnathon explained their sizes (XLX is in between XL and XXL, but they are disconnecting and moving all their sizes up one size. XL will be XXL and XXL will be XXXL) not only was the staff helpful in finding a shirt, but the steamed it and gave us a hanger so it didn't get wrinkled while we drove. Tommy Bahamas may be more expensive than the rest of the shops at the Vacaville Outlets but their quality of shirts and professionalism of their employees will make me shop there more often!! Poor customer service. Went there yesterday to pick out a shirt for Father's Day. I had my 2 year old son. The older lady there gave me a death stare twice as my son let out a scream. He wanted to walk around instead of shopping. I was ready to pick out a shirt and pay. She really spoiled the experience. Thanks! Everything I have purchased at this place falls apart or shrinks drastically. Literally, nothing has lasted more than a year. Now their clothes have no consistency in their fitting. Buy the same shirt and the same size and the neck will be different etc. They must know their stuff is junk as they won't provide refunds. What clothing store doesn't offer refunds the next day with a receipt? I would only think places that know they sell junk. read more
