This vehicle has over 270k miles on it and the original heater hose blew after picking my daughter up from Langham Creek HS. I was able to get there just as the temperature pegged the gage. Diagnosed that morning and had to order parts. The idle had to wait until that was fixed. Ended up being the throttle control sensor again. 4th one for this truck, as I found out by research, it's the most common replaced part for this model. The first 2 they got were faulty. 3rd was the charm and it's running smoothly again. Great work guys!

When I first came to Houston I came looking for a garage I could trust and after multiple disappointments found Angels. I enjoy working on my cars and do many of the repairs myself, but at times I am too busy or don't have the tools and equipment to do the job. Often times I have them do a once over on the cars and most of the time they have had nothing, but now that they are getting up their in miles things pop up. The nice thing is they call and already have a list of what they think I can do and what they should do. Not once have I found them trying to make me do work the car did not need or overcharge. I would recommend Angels to anyone. Tip. Take a few minutes to get to know them as they are like family and not like people at the run of the mill chains. I'd give this place a 100 stars if possible. Had my daughter's SUV towed to Auto-Scan based on the…read moreYelp reviews among other things. The vehicle had already been looked at by other shops and they determined the transmission needed rebuilding among other things. Armed with this limited info, I had already been looking at trading the unfortunately upside-down financed 240,000 mile thing and expecting to take a significant hit in the resale value. And that after spending $whatever just to get it running. Since replacing the transmission meant a $6,000 cost for this model vehicle I wanted a serious shop to take another look before moving forward. At first, Cory and team also thought the tranny was going ... until he discovered a bad motor mount during diagnostic inspection. Once that was replaced, no more "tranny bearing" noise. Apparently the engine mount caused a vibration that mimicked that bad tranny noise. Thank goodness they did a very thorough look over the entire vehicle and addressed the lesser problems first. Otherwise, I would have eventually ended up spending six grand and the negative equity unnecessarily. Cory found other relatively minor problems that led to the SUV needing to be towed in to them and successfully repaired / replaced them all such that my daughter now has pretty much a brand new ride. Cory and his guys saved me a lot of serious headaches and substantial coin. Not even close to the amount I was clutching my pearls over. Communication was also great with updates along the way over the course of a few days. Cory took care of everything and I never had to leave home and was even able to pay for everything over the phone with invoice emailed. All my daughter has to do now is Uber it over there to Cory's shop and pickup her ride. Thanks Cory. It was truly a pleasure conduction business with you and you will definitely be seeing us again for all our auto needs. Especially my daughter ;-/

I thought that since I was going to pay for them to be repaired out of pocket, that I would do so close to home and while on vacation with a rental. I originally had planned to have all the work done which would have cost me around $1700 (no second estimate), but thought that I would just have some material things done (mirror and rocker bar) this time around. Robert, the estimator was/is professional, detailed and understanding when I decided to reduce the size of the job. He recommended a rental agency that would drop a vehicle off with a discount attached to bringing our vehicle to him. When I came back into town to pick up vehicle, only part of the work was done, (but done very well and at a fair price) but no fault of the shop as some parts were on national back order. I need to mention here that I dread body shops only second to the experience of actually buying the vehicle but Robert made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail and was communicative about how long and how much. I would recommend these folks, just do your best to pin them down as far as availability of parts, etc.
