My neighbor accidentally hit the side of my door. I came here for an estimate and they quoted me $2800. My neighbor insisted we look for a cheaper estimate. After a lot of back and forth and conflicting schedules they asked me to get an updated quote from this place to see if it was still the same. The second quote they gave me for the same repair was 3800. When I asked about the discrepancy in price the lady here told me the door had to be replaced. Eventually we decided to go through my neighbors insurance and they set me up with Crash Champions just down the road. They fixed my car in less than a week for $1,209. They did an excellent job. Bottom line is this place is way over priced and doesn't seem to know what they are doing. read more

My experience with this business was exceptional. I am a female and didn't feel as if they were trying to overcharge me at all. They were so professional I worked with Nelson to get my vehicle fixed within a few days of damage happening. He understood that I loved my car and wanted it to look like new again. His customer service was great even with a full waiting room. After they were all set to start work on my vehicle he called me to let me know when's the best availability to bring it in and how long it would take. I drop it off on early Wednesday morning and it was ready to go the next day. Now I'm not good with names at all but the other gentleman at the front desk was pretty cool as well. Over the last several years, I have collected quite the group of dings, scrapes, dents, broken mirrors etc., on my precious Chrysler 300. I thought that since I was going to pay for them to be repaired out of pocket, that I would do so close to home and while on vacation with a rental. I originally had planned to have all the work done which would have cost me around $1700 (no second estimate), but thought that I would just have some material things done (mirror and rocker bar) this time around. Robert, the estimator was/is professional, detailed and understanding when I decided to reduce the size of the job. He recommended a rental agency that would drop a vehicle off with a discount attached to bringing our vehicle to him. When I came back into town to pick up vehicle, only part of the work was done, (but done very well and at a fair price) but no fault of the shop as some parts were on national back order. I need to mention here that I dread body shops only second to the experience of actually buying the vehicle but Robert made me feel very comfortable and explained everything in detail and was communicative about how long and how much. I would recommend these folks, just do your best to pin them down as far as availability of parts, etc. read more

I got into an accident and was recommended this place from their wrecker driver at the scene. The accident was not my fault and I was very concerned about paying for anything out of my pocket. I was told that the shop would arrange a rental without me putting up a credit card. When I was picked up by the rental company, I was told to present among other things a credit card !!! The body shop manager said that there was nothing he could do, and was not interested in getting involved, so I had my car towed to another shop the next day. Not only did the other body shop arrange a rental for me without a credit card, they helped me with my deductible and gave me lifetime warranty on the repairs. I would encourage you to do business with whoever has your best interests in mind. read more

Stay away from Copperfield Collision, back on Jan 5th. 2011 I had a minor accident where my Explorer 2000 slid on a wet road and ended up in a ditch. 5 minutes later a wrecker from Copperfield Collision was getting ready to pull it out of the ditch, as I had no other means of going back to my house I had to ride up with the wrecker driver to my house, a short 10 minute drive. During this time, he convinced me to have my truck taken to his shop: Copperfield Collision where, he said, would be fixed in no time and at a very reasonable price. I accepted. Several days later I called the shop because during all this time they had not called me, and a guy by the name George ask me to go by the shop because in his opinion my truck was a total loss. The same day I went to the shop to find out that although the truck was perfectly drivable, he would not fix it because in his opinion when a car gets wet it is ready for the junk yard. Since I disagreed and I said I was taking my truck somewhere else, he told me "Not before you pay our bill which amounted over $400 dollars" his figures were $150 for the tow (6 miles) $250 for administrative fees (???) and $40 daily for parking. After arguing with him he cut me free for a ransom of $380 or so I felt. 5 days later I picked up my truck from another shop where my total bill was $640 (for repairs that they really performed, not for any fees or parking rights) and ever since I am a happy camper again. STAY AWA FROM THE SHISTERS OF COPPERFIELD COLLISION, is my best advice. read more

Copperfield Collision is horrible. They were the only option for towing my car after my wreck. They told me it would be ready in 5-10 business days and it was ready after 3 1/2 weeks. The day after I picked it up I realized my horn didn't honk because they didn't make sure to check that (might I add the ENTIRE wreck happen to my front end).Turns out they had to order me new parts because the horn was messed up in the wreck....DUH! THEN 2 weeks later my car wouldn't start because my battery wires were loose. They towed it and fixed it and then told me it was ready but when I showed up to pick it up Robert said he was about to call and tell me he made a mistake and it wasn't ready. THEN they called the next day and tried to charge me parts and for the tow!!! When it was something that happened under the hood after my wreck they still wouldn't claim it was their fault!!!!! My insurance ended up having to pay but they are currently working on getting reimbursed because they too believe it's their fault. DO NOT....DO NOT USE THEM!!!! read more

THE WORST EXPERIENCE dealing with a body shop ever! My nightmare before Christmas!! On 10/30\2012, I found myself directing traffic on FM 1960 around my vehicle because a client of fred loya pulled out in front of me and tore up the left front end of my car. The first respondent was a wrecker driver with copperfield collision, who immediately started telling me that he would take my car back to his shop and they would put me in a rental and they would bill loya ins. for me if I let him take the car to their shop. After about an hour and half waiting for the police report which put loya's client at total fault. again ,the wrecker driver approached me with another proposition, Since they had fred loya ins. i would have to pay for the car rental and loya ins. would reinberse me later after the car was fixed, and that they would take a long time to pay . However he would talk to robert at copperfield collision and that they would deal with loya and bill them direct If I agreed to get my car fixed at there shop. By this time it was about 8:30, I agreed to under those conditions! the next morning I met Robert and tommy at the body shop to set up the rental car. Tommy and Robert both agreed to the conditions,and at that point Tommy called Tosha @ Hertz rent a car. who also agreed to the stipulations. After an hour and a half sitting in the Hertz office with Tommy they said that they needed my credit card for insurance purposes.on the vehicle,which sounded plausible, and they sounded very sincere.Tommy and Tosha asked that I take the check from the body shop and deposit in my account , to cover the first weeks rental and the deposit. this is the only way they could honor the agreement. after this they would bill fred loya ins an wait for the reimbersement. In the mean time my car was totaled and now the body shop wont release my car until the money that they paid for the rental bill is returned. Now the body shop is holding my car hostage for ransom. they continue to charge for storage, until I pay the rental bill. In the mean time loya ins. is refusing to pay the rental bill saying they dont have to due to the car being totaled. Now i am being charged daily for storage on my car. I can't get my car and I can't get my payoff for my car to replace it , so my wife can return to work. I am being scamed out of my car and the payoff on the car by a wrecker driver and copperfield collision! NO stars!!! Beware of the unethical and immoral practices of the people at Copperfield collision!!! read more
