After another shop recently took about 4 weeks to complete work on my car, I was amazed that Will had my car repaired in just 2 days. I left it on Monday evening and picked it up on Wednesday evening. Customer service was excellent. Will even drove me to rent a car when I left my car and offered to pick me up when I returned my rental car. And, most importantly, the quality of the repairs was top notch! Be aware, I took my car to this shop regarding my door. My first sign of trouble was the guy love Trump. He said, they would have to open the parts to really see, the door may have to be replaced. New door and I would have to leave it while they screwed me over. I took it to a Body shop, who said it was an easy fix, but to take it to a Mechanical shop, this was Crash Champion Collision Repair, so I took it to Christian Brothers on 1960 in champion and Chris was extremely helpful for free and he also informed me that Ford did a replacement or repair it because they recognize that there's a weakness in the door for free so there is no fee to have it repair. I did not have to pay anything and no one kept my Car for some ungodly time. My purpose of this message is so you can be aware of who you're dealing with read more

I had a brand new Tesla, and see the thing is me and curbs are old friends, we meet often. It's never been a real problem in the past with other cars, I mean it doesn't make my rims look great but it's never caused serious damage in other vehicles I've had. In my Tesla, it complete ruined my bumper, and I needed to get that replaced. I was also having major surgery the same week and wanted this resolved right away so I don't have to deal with it later when I'm all bandaged up and in recovery with a limited range of motion. I took my Tesla to several places including authorized dealers and the prices I were quoted weren't consistent at all at first, and they kept saying it would take 2 months. Finally I came across three places through Yelp that all quoted around the same price, Brookston was one of them, they were a bit pricier BUT they used authentic Tesla parts AND were willing to do the work right away!! Also, I just loved my interaction with Robert. I didn't feel like I was taken for a ride, and felt like he was honest and genuine in his interactions with me. I don't feel this way often when I'm trying to deal with car stuff without my brother or husband to help. We ordered the part right away, and Robert clarified that there is no ETA on delivery but as soon as he gets it, the turnaround was two days. Indeed, I did get my car back in two days. My only complaint, and it's a slight one, was that the price I was quoted changed. This is typical, I know, once the bumper comes off you get an understanding of what else is broke and needs repairs, so I understood why the price changed, but then when I was quoted an updated price, it changed by an increase of another $25 bucks when I went to go pick it up, and it wasn't explained why. I wish I had received an itemized receipt, but also, I'm sure there was some reason, so it's not a dealbreaker. I plan to continue to be a customer of Robert's if I ever have future car needs, and would recommend him to everyone. read more

I stopped in to get an estimate on my 2024 Expedition that I scraped against the garage. The young man (everyone is younger than me now) took a look and told me me it wasn't too bad and I could get it off with some paint thinner. I was shocked that he would offer that suggestion and not try and get a few hundred bucks off me. We talked a little bit and he disappeared into the shop and came back with a cloth and rubbed it off for me... only a tiny scratch remained. Amazing to find a man with integrity these days. I unexpectedly got rear-ended back in February 18 and I chose to deal with my insurance, Geico, to expedite the process, as opposed to waiting for the at-fault owner's insurance. Geico customer service found Brookston Body Shop for me as it was close to where I reside in the Heights. I called early on February 19 and the owner, Robert, was very accommodating and had a slot for me so he can check up my car. He saw the damage and was quick to determine an estimate. He told me that my car was still drivable and I could just leave the car before I go to the airport on February 22 (I'm a flight attendant by profession). Come the 22nd, I went and left my car back st the shop, with an estimate of a week for complete repair. Robert was also kind enough to service me back to my apartment so I won't need to get an Uber. I was also told by Robert that they fix car key fobs as long as I order the part from Amazon. During the week my car was being fixed, i phoned in to check on it and I was able to talk to one of their staff members, Will. Will was so helpful and accommodating as well and was very quick to reply on text. I got my car back on March 5 due to me being away from work. However, my car has been ready since Match 2. I left my rental car at the shop and they said that they will facilitate the exchange with Enterprise. Finally got my car and boy, i was more than happy. It was working so well, paint job was good and spanking clean!!! Robert though had told me of minor stuff that i may need to take care of in the future. I also gave them my key fob and they fixed it within a week! They didn't even charge me for it as I was the one who bought it from Amazon. When I picked my car up they had washed the inside and outside which was a great added bonus! They are extremely reasonable and will not overcharge you on repairs. Sorry can't give a good review. I researched the top body shops and I was ready go with them based off reviews alone if they gave me accurate quote. I had another prior quote beforehand when I lived in another city but decided to wait till I moved to get work done. Went to shop nobody was in office and went to try look in garage which was silent inside. Someone showed up from next door and gave me a quote. The quote was overpriced by 700+ and there were no details except labor costs. Goes to show you to shop around!!! I found a much better shop with gizzilon men in the garage working. The other shop quote was correctly priced and even had ever small detail listed including car part prices. They even made 2 min call to see if there were used parts for my headlight. The other shop quoted me certain amount of clips but said they may not need that many so they would reduce total if so. I was accurately priced the first time and the job was done early with car detailing too. Honestly especially in car repairs is crucial and unfortunately this body shops quote was overpriced and lacked specific details. You only get to make a first impression once. Best body shop in houston by FAR!!! They are so responsive; reliable, and most importantly : they're honest and their work speaks for itself. They did an AMAZING job fixing the back bumper of my brand new Honda Accord. It was the smallest scrape on the back- but it went down the metal of the car (deepest layer). I was worried no other car shops would be able to fix it and make it whole bumper color matched. But they fixed the entire scrape, color matched it perfectly, AND got the dent out!!! All in a couple days, well priced, and with transparent communication. I will definitely be coming back- both employees were so nice, well mannered, and honest about the repairs. 10/10 recommend and is my new go-to auto shop in Houston! read more

The owners are always straightforward, give very fair prices and try to go the extra mile to deliver awesome customer service. They even have dealt with my aunt on several occasions who's the most paranoid, anal and difficult person to work with. They somehow kept her calm for her auto repairs which is not an easy thing to do. And she left happy and even used them again. My aunt is never happy with anything. So it blew my mind when she called me to thank me for recommending Brookston. As for myself I have come to Brookston for several things and I'm always leaving with my car looking good as new. Sometimes when you see a business with all five star reviews, it can seem a little fishy... but at Brookston, it's well earned, because these guys are great! My car had some minor bumper damage. After leaving it with Rob, three days later it was good as new. I did need to stop back a few days later as a replacement decal was damaged in shipping, but when I did, I was very quickly in-and-out. They handled everything with the insurance company and were incredibly friendly and easy to get in touch with for status updates. On one hand, I hope I don't have to return... but if my car or future cars experience any body damage, this will be my first stop. Cannot recommend Rob and his team enough. read more

I have a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L in Silver Blue. I also have a thing for poles apparently. Since I've gotten that car I've scraped it by numerous poles at my apartment complex. After accumulating 3-4 accidents, I decided to get them all fixed at once until 2 weeks ago. And yet another time, I hit the damn pole again. Only this time instead of scraping I hit it head on and the passenger side of my car looked pretty horrible. I know it was only aesthetics (no actual car damage) but still wanted to get it fixed. So I looked at many body shop places. One place quoted me $4k which i thought was ridiculous as I was going completely out of pocket. I found Brookston Body through Yelp. I wasn't really sure what to expect and kinda losing hope at that point. Although they had excellent reviews I was weary as the $4k place had "excellent" reviews too. When I got there, I was greeted by Will - the owner. He came outside to look at my car and gave me a quote. I thought this was extremely reasonable so I asked him if he could fix the entire car since ya know.... i scraped the pole MULTIPLE times on different occasions and had them all around my car. He said yes and didn't increase the quote. He walked me through all the repairs and detailed out the costs for me. He explained that he couldn't fix one part since he'd have to repaint and that'd cost way more but that he could touch it up and make it visibly less noticeable. He said however, that he's gonna try his best to touch up and detail. He didn't push nor did he sell me extra services. He gave me his card and told me to call him 3 days before and said that it'd take a week. I told him i'm paying out of pocket and getting a rental and he said he's gonna try and speed it up to save me some money. He completed the job in 3.5 days. Monday 12pm to Thursday 4pm. He was very professional and waited an extra 20 mins past closing time because I was running late from work to get there before 6pm. Even after payment he was telling me how I can do even better with detailing etc. My car looked beautiful (like brand new). I may have a shed a tear. I highly recommend this shop to everyone as Will knows what he is doing and doesn't have to sell his work. His work speaks for itself and you can truly see how much he loves his job. This is my second review for Brookston because Robert and his staff saved me a** once again! I came to him back in June with my Mercedes and with some extensive work, dealing with my insurance etc...he made it all possible and it came out looking amazing! A few week's ago I practically took the mirror off of my new BMW while backing out and hitting a cement pillar. BMW quoted me to replace the ENTIRE thing (of coarse) and it was over $1,600. I should of known to go directly to Robert, but when I did he said he could spare what was left of the mirror and replace just TWO little parts. 5 days later the parts were in, I swung by the shop and he took all of 30 minutes (in the pouring rain mind you) to fix it up. And it cost me just $160. Y'all! That is some service. He treated me like his own daughter, always making sure I was ok with everything, calling me with updates, and making sure I was getting the best possible deal. He cares about his customers and cares about the works he puts out. Because I decided to be an idiot and try and drive through an opening in a fence that my car definitely could not fit through, I had a huge scratch across my 2 rear panels/bumper and tore part of the plastic moulding off. I sent out a bunch of requests for quotes to body shops across Houston through Yelp, and there were only 3 who were willing to provide a rough estimate without having to bring in my car. My friend had recommended this place, so I decided to bring my car in for an estimate, and Robert was extremely nice and informative in explaining the costs and gave me a very fair price since I had to pay out of pocket. It's sort of like buying a bottle of wine at a restaurant - you don't want to pick the cheapest one, so you pick the 2nd or 3rd cheapest one that is still good quality. They even offer to drop you off at home or a rental car place after you drop off your car. I dropped my car off on a Monday afternoon and was able to pick it up Thursday afternoon, and it looked brand spanking new! In addition, Robert/Will even painted my bumper for free (wasn't included in the original quote). They even cleaned the car (and it looked like they cleaned the interior too) before I picked it up. My whole experience here was super awesome and very professional, and I will be back here if my car is damaged again (which I hope never does!) Would highly recommend. read more
