Drove to the Walgreens and there was a woman behind the photo counter who spoke almost no English. I told her I had received the notification my prints were finished. She didn't understand. I repeated myself. She started looking through big boxes. I said "no," and gestured with my hands the small size. She continued to look through big boxes and then shook her head. She asked my name again in Spanish. Then she started looking in the alphabetical photo bins. If this wasn't taking forever, I would have laughed out loud. She was looking at the wrong letter! Mind you I have an easy, 2 syllable common Anglo last name. Finally, she pulled out that photo bin and it was the small envelope on top. Not sure how/why you hire folks with no English to deal with the public.

This Publix located in the Tradewinds Plaza is new and improved after taking over the old Kmart…read morespot and expanding into quite possibly the most beautiful and expansive Publix I have ever seen. I have been to countless Publix's in my day, but none are like this. Every department is humungous. There is so much variety, space in the aisles, assortment and layouts like I have never seen. If you are in Key Largo, I would totally make this a pit stop for a boat day or beach day run. It has everything you need including a liquor store next door. I think that the overall rating for this store must be because of some old reviews before it reopened as a larger space in 2024, because this spot truly has it all. I will say, parking is a bit of a nightmare on the weekend. It makes sense as there is also a Burlington and TJ Maxx in this plaza.

Employee at the counter was telling a deliveryman where to put items in boxes. Employee never made eye contact even though I was literally 2 feet away. I said, "I'd like to buy some scratch-offs, please." No response. He walked off with the deliveryman showing him where to put items in a box. A man walked in and asked for the restroom key and he immediately handed it to him. Employee returned to the counter, never making eye contact nor speaking to me. I repeated my request telling him how many and which scratch-off. He said $6. I handed him $11. He looked at me and said loudly "IT IS $6." I said, I know, I want a $5 bill back and not $1's. He literally opened the register and shoved the $5 into my hand. I'd hate to think his actions were racially motivated, but it sure seemed it.

There are only about 7 aisles and it can get fairly crowded, especially with many residents, guests and workers. The front of the store has some made to order food options including custom sandwiches, pre-maid sandwiches and fresh food including ahi tuna and chicken fingers. There is also a section across from the cash registers with a variety of wine. The other aisles have traditional grocery store items including snacks, candy, produce and a variety of drinks, which were located in the back. There's also a small section with Florida themed souvenirs and a variety of socks on your right when you enter the store. Like everything at Ocean Reef, Wynn's is fairly expensive. However, everything is of very good quality. I enjoyed my experience with most of the staff and found them to be generally very kind and helpful. Altogether, Wynn's is a very nice grocery store located in Ocean Reef and sells a variety of healthy and fresh options!
