Drove to the Walgreens and there was a woman behind the photo counter who spoke almost no English. I told her I had received the notification my prints were finished. She didn't understand. I repeated myself. She started looking through big boxes. I said "no," and gestured with my hands the small size. She continued to look through big boxes and then shook her head. She asked my name again in Spanish. Then she started looking in the alphabetical photo bins. If this wasn't taking forever, I would have laughed out loud. She was looking at the wrong letter! Mind you I have an easy, 2 syllable common Anglo last name. Finally, she pulled out that photo bin and it was the small envelope on top. Not sure how/why you hire folks with no English to deal with the public.

Employee at the counter was telling a deliveryman where to put items in boxes. Employee never made eye contact even though I was literally 2 feet away. I said, "I'd like to buy some scratch-offs, please." No response. He walked off with the deliveryman showing him where to put items in a box. A man walked in and asked for the restroom key and he immediately handed it to him. Employee returned to the counter, never making eye contact nor speaking to me. I repeated my request telling him how many and which scratch-off. He said $6. I handed him $11. He looked at me and said loudly "IT IS $6." I said, I know, I want a $5 bill back and not $1's. He literally opened the register and shoved the $5 into my hand. I'd hate to think his actions were racially motivated, but it sure seemed it.

I prefer stopping here than in Florida City because everyone is always making angry u-turns that stress me out. They might not have craft beer or that kombucha you scored at the last place but it works for me. They're always a few cents cheaper than the nearby fuel stop which comes in handy if you're filling up for a long trip north or south. Northern Key Largo is a pit stop for plenty of folks in the need to pick up something or simply stretch their legs. Give it a shot.

Additionally, for over a week, they only have regular. No mid grade. No super. No explanation. Avoid the furthest to the left pumps. Big trucks fill up with diesel there. There is almost always spilled fuel on the ground. Pump handles there are filthy. This used to be a really nice station with landscaped grounds. Not sure if there are new people managing or what. I explained that I just had a quick question - my husband is sick and has a really bad dry cough. Can she please recommend something? She replied with an answer very quickly. I asked if that was the strongest one. She snapped back "Yes!" Was I supposed to wait until 9:00 just to get an answer from her? So much for a little empathy. I am considering going to the nearby Walgreens from now on. I have spent a good bit of money at CVS in the past. I don't need the substandard customer service.

Just got my Pfizer booster here. I was able to schedule online for just two hours later the same…read moreday! As of this writing, vax appointments are wide open. I arrived about a half hour early and went straight to the pharmacy counter. The pharmacist was super nice and asked if I had an appointment. I apologized for being early and he said it wasn't a problem. Gave him my driver's license, insurance card and vax card and he only needed the vax card. I waited a couple minutes and he came out and gave me the booster with absolutely no "jab." 5***** injection. Handed me my updated vax card and I received a CVS email at the same time, providing a digital copy of the booster! My entire time inside CVS was maybe 5 minutes. (You do not need to wait the 15 minutes after a booster). Absolutely 5***** pharmacy experience at this CVS! Thank you for making this so convenient and easy.

It is actually the corner of fork in the road. That makes it a popular spot. It's Shell gas, for those of you who are card holders. But convenient location is about all it offers. Yeah there is a convenience store, but no glass bottled coke. The bathroom is kinda gross. No diesel. Really could do better.
